  1. Shubham is a 21 year old research scientist at the National University of Singapore and head of everything technology + data at Holmusk and Tripple. He also occasionally lectures post graduate courses on big data and cloud computing at Singapore Management University (SMU). He is also the organiser of PyData Singapore and DataKind Singapore meetups. He is a renowned speaker and is invited to corporations, government agencies and enthusiast meet ups alike to train the data science work force or give talks on new innovations in the broad areas of data mining and predictive analytics.

  3. At the age of 16, Shubham became the youngest ever visiting researcher at Imperial College London. While he was there, he did work in the area of reconfigurable hardware primarily using FPGAs for accelerating various applications. Since then, Shubham has been involved in and led a wide variety of research projects in Singapore and abroad. He has worked on doing multi-robot exploration and mapping for environment sensing applications using autonomous underwater gliders. He was then recruited by MIT into the Future Urban Mobility (FM) Interdisciplinary Research Group (IRG) where he spent his intellect trying to make models that can predict transportation demand at any location within the smart city inside some time interval in the future.

  5. Shubham has presented his research work in tier 1 conferences like SIGMOD (held in Australia, 2015) and AIED (held in Spain, 2015). Some of his most recognised works are -

  12. Shubham founded his first start-up when he was 17 called Tabzine. He then joined BigSpoon as a technical lead and built their iOS app from scratch. Since then, he has been involved with a variety of other start-ups where he was involved as a consultant.

  14. Currently, he serves as the CTO of two start-ups, Holmusk and Tripple. Shubham started Holmusk in February of this year with 0 capital and now, Holmusk employs over 30 people. The company is now valued at over 20 million USD. Holmusk is a big data healthcare company trying to ease the burden of chronic disease patients on the economy by using the best of data science and behavioural medicine. Holmusk has been nominated by Outlook as one of the 25 big data start-ups in the world to watch out for in 2015 and is the only one in the list in the area of healthcare. Tripple is a relatively new start-up company Shubham recently joined as CTO. It is in the process of raising its seed round of around a million SGD at a valuation of 5 million SGD.
