PERSONALITY: she is a brilliant and witty girl, who tends to be too snarky and sarcastic at times. because of her love for pranks, she is a great calculative and fast thinker. most of the time, she is very calm and collected which makes her good under pressure/in difficult situations. though she is curious about everything and would run into danger if it means satisfying her curiosity, she is suspicious and careful of her surroundings which is probably what still keeps her alive. she stands for what she strongly believes in and sometimes that makes her seem stubborn. it may seem like she has a kinda intimidating and cold exterior, but she would kill to protect the people and things she loves. she is a tough girl but in a rare, vulnerable state, she would constantly need to be showered with love and affection. she's the kind of person that would pick being different and unique than perfect and bland.

* she was born in milan, italy and lived there for 6 years. her family moved to seoul just in time for her 1st grade
* her family was only middle class but her parents got better jobs when they moved to seoul
* she was an outgoing and sociable kid and had many friends in primary
* she studied in school of performing arts seoul for high school with her twin brother
* she had less friends in high school but was still active participating in events and activities
* she has worked for lots of jobs, ranging from being a waitress for her dad's restaurant to tutoring kids in private lessons

LIFE BEFORE: she just graduated high school and was planning for the next step in her life. she was waiting for her universities' acceptance letters. she has always loved art, especially photography, and astronomy and she wished to finally pursue her dreams. though she comes from a pretty well off family, never having any financial problems, she wanted to help pay for her university tuition fees which is why she has been working extra hard to earn more money from her job. she has also been spending every second of her free time with her younger sister, yujin, and twin brother (in case they go to separate universities) before she leaves for university. yujin clings to her as much as she can. even when she's working, yujin would wait for her shift to be over. overall, her life was going pretty well as she had everything planned out. but that's before wonderland.

FEAR: getting caught by her parents; it was near midnight but 13-year-old hwayoung couldn't fall asleep. she woke up to find her oldest sister for comfort but instead was greeted with hushed screaming that only seems to get louder and louder. she peeked through the slightly ajar bedroom door and saw her mom slapping her sister. it left a prominent red hand mark on her sister's cheek and a bit of blood due to her mom's sharp, long nails. she turned to look at her dad who just stood there not doing anything. so hwayoung tiptoed back to her room and laid down on her bed, trying and failing to fall asleep as the scarring scene was forever imprinted in her mind.

RELATIONSHIP PROGRESSION:

beginning: bickers quite a lot. they both know they don't exactly get along the best but think it's better together than alone (mostly jisung cause he really doesn't want to be alone in wonderland)

middle: their bickering has reduced a lot. they often joke around with each other. they guess it really is better to be together than alone.

how they act around each other: once they get to know each other, they act like long lost friends like jokingly insult each other. their relationship is playful but they can be serious when they want and need to.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

her: she was skeptical of him at first, because of her not easily trusting personality

him: he was annoyed at her because she was the one who set up the trap which he, unfortunately, fell for

HOW DID THEY MEET: it was nighttime and she was about to sleep (in a tree). but before that, she set up a trap just in case any creature comes crawling to bring her her doom. not long after she fell asleep, she heard a scream and was woken up to see someone had fallen for her trap.

* a scene where she was admiring the thousands of stars in the night sky and talking about them so excitedly, and he was looking at her admiring how beautiful she was and how he loves the way her eyes light up brighter than the stars as she talks
* a scene where they both came across some danger and she swooped in to save him (cause i'm tired of the guy always coming to save the girl's day) and that is probably when he realizes he might like her as more than a friend
