  14. Using google: Might take more than 1 website to find the bpm
  15. If all else fails: Use http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm and/or trial-and-error
  16.
  17. 3. Which bpm to change?
  18. Space Jam: Always change Space Jam's bpm (overrides everything below)
  19. Thomas the tank engine: Always change the other song's bpm
  20. One song has vocals: Change the bpm of the vocals, especially with isolated vocals
  21. Both/neither have vocals: Depends, but i recommend changing the slower bpm
  22.
  23. 4. Audacity
  24. http://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/
  25. While it might be the literal worst program to use for mashups, it's cross platform, so fuck it
  26.
  27. 5. How to change the bpm
  28. If you put both songs in audacity already, there should be two tracks, but if you didn't, put both songs into audacity so there's two tracks
  29.
  30. With the track of the bpm to be changed, click the area between the track name and the Mute/Solo buttons to select the entire track, then in the Effect menu, choose Change Tempo... and fill in the Beats per minute fields, first one is the bpm of the track you selected, and the second is the bpm of the track you didn't select
  31. After that, click ✔️OK
  32.
  33. 5. Lining them up
  34. This one is a bit harder to explain but basically move the first beat of each song so they happen at the same time
  35. With the zoom tool middle-click then left-click four times and make sure they still line up at that zoom level ok go make turret proud
