Any matches which result in a tie are not counted towards the result of the series.

[U][B]Points[/B][/U]

2 Points are awarded for completing a round. Every battle victory in a series which you lose contributes 1 point. In the final, this formula is used for deciding upon the number of the unsuccessful finalists:

Or in words, take the number of battles won, divide that number by 2, and then round it down.

The Battle for Bronze does not award any point and is only for the Master Tournament Bronze medal.

[U][B]Prizes[/B][/U]

Placing 1st place in Season 4 awards you with £30. 2nd place receives £20 and 3rd place receives £10.

[U][B]About Simulators[/B][/U]

Both Pokemon Online and Pokemon Showdown are considered suitable simulators for the tournament. If players cannot agree upon which simulator to play, the default will be Pokemon Showdown. [URL='http://bit.do/pokemonperfect']Pokemon Perfect has its own server which is the most recommended place to play games.[/URL]

[U][B]About Deadlines[/B][/U]

Any matches not played by the deadline will be coin flipped unless one or both players have submitted a request for an activity win. Additionally, any player deemed inactive can be subbed out at the sub in time. Players who have not contacted by the arrival of the Contact Deadline without alerting the host prior to this that they would not be able to will be substituted out if substitutes are available. Extensions will be allotted should both players request them and provide convincing reasons (as decided by the host) for why one should be allotted.
