- 1. Remain civil.
- ```
- Keep your disagreements civil. Don’t go throwing insults around at others because you don’t agree with them. Try to be respectful of others.
- ```
- 2. Use common sense.
- ```
- We aren’t going to flood these rules with everything we can think of under the sun. You know how to conduct yourself. If you’re not sure if something is allowed, ask a moderator. Don’t try to use “rule loopholes” to get away with stuff, it won’t fly here.
- ```
- 3. Speak in English.
- ```
- We can’t moderate what we can’t understand. Feel free to speak in your preferred languages over DMs, but please keep chat on the Discord in English.
- ```
- 4. No NSFW.
- ```
- Keep discussion and images posted SFW. As a general rule of thumb, don’t talk about it if you wouldn’t talk about it with your grandmother. Our image guidelines adhere to what we have on the subreddit:
- The baseline for acceptable content is based off of Honey Soldier(http://imgs.fyi/img/8mh0.png). This image of Soldier portrays him as nude and covered in honey, with no genitalia showing. It is purely for comedic effect, and is not an attempt to elicit a sexual response. Additionally, this is arguably the most risqué image TF2 has published in an official setting.
- ```
-
- 5. No sharking/scam attempts.
- ```
- This includes posting links to some fishy site a scammer has linked you. Please don’t post these, even if you’re just asking if they’re legitimate or not. They’re always scam sites.
- ```
- 6. Discussion of recent subreddit and discord changes should be civil.
- ```css
- [TEMPORARY]
- ```
- ```
- The recent change of moderators on the subreddit may be a controversial topic you want to discuss. Doing this in a civil manner is acceptable. Derailing, purposefully spreading misinformation, personal attacks, and false rumors are not acceptable.
