- Again they rush at each other, dark magics prepared for combat. Romero instantly ignites the forest floor in dark flames that scorch the girl as she approaches. He uses the stunning force of an occultic fire blast to rush in and grab the girl by the throat, slamming her into the ground and pinning her there.
- The mutated arm began draining the vitality from her body, sucking vital energies from her until she stopped moving, falling unconcious and limp. He then began trying to lift her up... Only he stopped when he felt something approaching and heard footsteps. His head craned up and he left Nef laying unconcious on the ground for a moment.
- He looked over at what appeared to be another ookami approaching their position. His occultic energy dropped. At this point he'd just stumble upon a cloaked figure and an unconcious ookami... still not a great scene, but slightly better than immediately knowing they were occultists.
- (Romero)
- What a waste of time. He cares so much. She cares so little. There has to be some recognition of her utter lack of care, of the lack of effortin the spring of her step, in the swing of her blade honestly being deflectable with a fucking arm. Her strength doesn't exist. Her magics don't even copme forth with more than tickling intent, and still he's obsessed with expressing his own force. Even when he's slamming her and draining her unconscious, she doesn't even have an expression of showing pain. It's low, dull boredom until the moment she goes limp.
- If they really cared about her being useful, this was a shit time to take her, midst a journey that might actually mean something for her strength. Chances were, they'd take her, reprimand her for not being strong, and then do absolutely fucking nothing to help her become strong. She loses consciousness with a heap of bitterness in her mind.
- (Nef)
- Rushing to an unpleasent scene. Kyrian would beam his eyes towards the cloaked being who stood over a purple Ookami. He felt like he knew her bt he couldn't figure out from where he had seen her. But it didn't matter. What did was figuring out what this being was doing to her.
- "What are you doing to her?" he growled fiercely.
- It didn't take long for Kyrian to kick off his shoes and crouch low. He didn't like those who attacked his own kind.
- Becareful
- Words would echo in his mind
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- "Ever since I left for the east, more and more people have come within my forest..I wonder what their business is here..For now I will just watch to see what happens..Though that one boy has an interesting depravity and darkness about him..I should keep my eye on him" Bakuyu would say this to himself while sitting at the edge of the plateau. His wings were currently folded in and his tail, retracted to reduce the length..Nothing about the yokai was currently hostile, all he wished to do was study and observe the humans at this point. However, he wasn't sure if the depraved one was truly human. His depravity and darkness was almost on par with a yokai, though yokai weren't depraved....
- (Bakuyu, the Devourer)
- Krosious had left the area he was before and made his way on into the Wychwood. As he went the boy picked up on a familiar scent. His brother, Kyrian, had left a trail which was easily followed as Krosious was a native of the Wychwood.
- As he continued on the trail the male came upon a scene which he had a hard time deducing at first. It looked like someone standing over someone else while Kyrian was either confronting them or supporting them. Unsure what was going on the youngest triplet brother stepped forth from the cover of the tree's and walked up, standing inline with his brother.
- Instinctively his hand wrapped around the hilt of his blade, though the Ookami did not unsheath it, yet.
- "What is happening here K?"
- Krosious spoke to his brother but did not say the name. Just the letter it began with. He was unsure if the other person before them knew the name already and if not then it'd be better to keep it that way he thought.
- (Krosious Hayes)
- As he turned to take note of the other figure that had approached he simply blinked. They had kicked off their shoes and and assumed an animalistic stance. How degrading. The dog like person, both in appearance and behavior, began demanding answeres from the male.
- Romero rolled his eyes. "You are nothing more than a mongrel. Don't make demands of me." he grumbled towards the ookami before him. Though another soon joined his side. A blink of his eyes was given and he shook his head. "I'm taking her with me to a place that's better for her." he said.
- Though he didn't have much patience for these two as there were now two brothers before him. Only.. Another presence was felt, this one holding heavy occultism. A large demonic yokai was perched off on the side, waiting idly. Romero smirked a little, he did so enjoy meeting new and powerful yokai.
- "Yokai, I am a seeker from Asphodel. We both pursue the same thing. Aid me now and I will help grant you power and knowledge in the dark arts. Aside from that, you will have earned a dark ally." with that he began unwrapping his right arm, revealing the dark yokai like limb to Bakuyu to show that they were similar.
- An occultic aura leaked around Romero and his right hand removed the staff from his back. "I don't have time to deal with dogs..." he said. "Come, Kaor. Let's show them the power of darkness and later we will pursue the highest powers and knowledge in occultic nature." he entised the yokai further, trying to coax it to his aid. Fighting an ookami wasn't an issue, fighting two ookami could prove problematic.
- (Romero)
- Bakuyu watched and listened as the now revealed Malpercian asked for assistance.."Oh I remember your kind. Your malpercians, I used to have a friend by the name of Acontium or something like that..He was a malpercian..I suppose your related to us yokai somehow? Anyway, power and Knowledge? I hope you know about runes..." Bakuyu would say before extending his tail and peircing the side of the plateau, then using the strength in his tail to move him to the ground.. After making his comment, Bakuyu would float over to the side of the malpercian.
- He had decided to aid this malpercian for his own reasons, though also for the power and knowledge promised to him.
- (Bakuyu, the Devourer)
- Krosious Hayes: Is that Ookami that important to you?
- Krosious Hayes: -said toward his brother-
- Kyrian Hayes: I think. . . . I think I've seen her with Lucas a long time ago. . . . .
- Krosious Hayes: Is she worth this?
- Romero: How pitiful... You'd abandon your own kin...
- Krosious Hayes: She is no kin of mine
- Romero: I'll make it clear. I know longer have intent of letting you leave.
- Kyrian Hayes: *ignores Romero* Dying? Not sure
- Kyrian Hayes: But she is an Ookami
- Krosious Hayes: I don't care if they are Ookami or not, they are not worth this.
- Krosious Hayes: You'll kill me for what?
- Krosious Hayes: Nothing?
- Kyrian Hayes whispers: Brother. . . we can get Lucas. . . and come back even stronger and take her back
- Romero: I'll kill him because he threatened me and approached aggressively. I'll kill you because you've bothered me and are willing to just abandon her thinking you're worth more.
- Romero: An occultist ookami is worth more than... Mongrels like you two.
- Krosious Hayes: -sigh- I never said I thought I was more than her
- Bakuyu, the Devourer: <side eyes Romero>
- Krosious Hayes: I simply don't want to get into some random fight for some person I don't even know
- Krosious Hayes: Would you aid someone you don't know?
- Sable was quick to race through the woods. Looking for any occult sources of any worthwhile power. Eventually, her senses would pick up what appeared to be a Kaor, and as she did, an advance toward what seemed to be the advent of a battle became quite visible. Sable however, had no intent on intervening. For a moment, the woman spied upon those that rested on the battle field. Stayed curious as to what they were going to.
- Not approaching, not saying much of anything. She sat in a tree, staring at the debate that seemed to unfold. Depravity and occultism waved off her form, and if anyone looked in the direction of her sickening aura, they'd see nothing but legs dangling from some tree foilage.
- (Sable)
- Kyrian Hayes: Why don't you just leave the Ookami's alone!
- Bakuyu, the Devourer: <leans back on a tree>
- Krosious Hayes: If you want to do this then do it. I am leaving.
- Krosious Hayes: -turns and leaves-
- Bakuyu, the Devourer: Malpercian...
- Kyrian Hayes: Love you too!
- Kyrian Hayes: *calls out after his brother*
- Bakuyu, the Devourer: Make this battle quick..
- Romero: I plan to.
- Bakuyu, the Devourer: I'm sure I don't need to tell you that he is going to bring back up..
- Romero: I'm aware.
- Romero: Didn't take a genius to figure out.
- Bakuyu, the Devourer: <returns to silence>
- Romero: <Hm, like this yokai already...>
- Growling louder than before. Kyrian would now advance the creature. He couldn't just abandon his own kin. It wasn't right for him. Any other way. It was a nice way to vent. Retrun to the older days when he hunted in this territory. But something about this being didn't feel like it wasn't going to be easy. He felt like it was going to be a fight for his life. Something that only occured a few times during his life.
- This just so happened to be the fourth one.
- "Just leave her alone. . . she has no business with you . . . ." he growled more as he took out his weapon to fight this being
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- The remaining ookami boy rushed forward, and as he did so he was quickly jabbed in the face with the blunt end of Romero's staff. The instant the weapon connected witht the boy's face a shadowflame explosion sent the boy back, singing his hair and smacking his skull against the ground with enough force to rattle his teeth.
- "How pathetic..." he said as he delivered a powerful and swift kick to the face of Kyian, attempting to demoralize him further. He was then gripped by the head where his face was pressed back against the staff, another occultic explosion!
- Kyrian was sent skidding through the grass, a small sigh escaping Romero as he rose to his feet and aimed his weapon. Whether Kyrian got up or not, he was about to begin firing off more spells.
- (Romero)
- Leaning against the tree, Bakuyu would watch the fight wage on."Shadowflame...Interesting. That other kid has energy magic as well. That ookami also uses a sword, could energy magic be a swordsman type magic? Maybe, though you could also shoot projectiles as well.."
- Bakuyu thought to himself a little before the battle was done. The malpercian with powers of yokai and humans would be victorious. Bakuyu sort of expected this but at the same time he knew well of the strengths of ookami. However, the battle might not have been over.
- Bakuyu would just have to wait and see what would happen next..The yokai remained silent with his wings folded and his tail reamining to play with the ground as it had its own mind; whipping around at the ground. Putting deep slash marks within the earth until the tail exausted itself, returning to its normal state.
- (Bakuyu, the Devourer)
- Lashing out towards Romero was a bold move for Kyrian. But it was also reckless as he was quickly countered with a quick jab towards his skull. He felt the shock of his jaws lock in place as immeanse pain soon flooded his body, and only to spice up the flavor. Black flames would erupt from his back. Threating to burn at his clothes as it shinged the hairs off of his back.
- But it was done there yet. As Kyrian was stopped in motion, a kick would cause him to spin in place as he shut his eyes. Fearing as what to come was next. It wouldn't take any longer for his face to once again come in contact with his staff. Causing another explosion, sending Kyrian flying across the ground to land hard at the end.
- Pain was flowing through him as he struggled to get up. Kyrian knew that he was lacking in strength as he spent most of his time inside of Danarium studying. But he didn't know that he wouldn't be able to fend off a monster to protect his own kin.
- Once again he was cornered in fear. His own brother had left him. Guessing that Kyrian would follow after. But each time he dared himself to look back. It pained him to see the defenseless position that the knocked out Ookami was in. So he had to stay and atleast try.
- Getting up once again. He would notice that the figure was getting ready to send more volleys of attacks his way. Only problem was. That now he was ready. He had something to fight for.
- Calling out to his ancestor once more. His energy shroud would burn with brilliance. It wouldn't take long for him to start advancing towards the figure. But instead of just out right lashing out. He would take care with his attacks from now, and what was a better time than trying out his new technique now.
- Kyrian would focus his mana to flow from within his body to outside to only flow back internall once more in a complete circle. This way he could extend his attacks. Only if it would work in his favor this battle
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Bakuyu, the Devourer: <"That fight was interesting, I'm getting a little excited..">
- Bakuyu battled his own urges and tried to stay calm, cool and collected though it wasn't enough. Bakuyu couldn't help himself but to get that terrifying smile on his face. The feelings of darkness and death spread around the area like a thick miasma, effecting anyone that was close to the kaor with the fear of looming death.."Interesting..Malpercian your strong, but I.." The yokai would catch himself mid-sentence and stop himself from letting his innate bloodthirst and bloodlust get the best of him. As a relatively new born Kaor, Bakuyu was still getting used to controling his urges so here and there, they would get the best of him but his will was powerful and so was his frame of mind. The yokai would not succumb to such barbaric urges.
- He'd finaly freed himself from that nature that plagued him for so long."Such a filthy urge and yet it is so necessary...It can't be helped sometimes.." Bakuyu would mumble to himself as he waited for the next turn of events to happen.
- (Bakuyu, the Devourer)
- Again the ookami boy ran in with his weapon, he was dead set on trying to attack the Malpercian with that blade of his but it just wasn't in the cards today. Romero side stepped a few more slashes, bobbing and weaving, the ookami was outclassed here.
- Though, it seemed that the boy had pulled off a downward slash!... clank! the attack was caught by Romero holding his staff long ways. He let out a little chuckle. "Little mutt... You didn't stand a chance from the beginning... You should have known better than to challenge me like this..." he said with a tsktsktsk.
- Occultic energy swarmed aruond Romero before Tendrils of darkness formed and plunged forwards. Two wrapped around his arms tightly, constricting with enough force to make the bones of his wrists creak in agonizing pain, as if they were about to shatter to dust.
- Two more lashed out around his ankles, it seemed he was going to be drawn and quartered by the young occultist... The boy was stretched out, his limbs being tugged to their capacity, threatening to pop out of socket. The pain would be great but nothing compared to what Romero had planned for this fool.
- Another tendril rose up and slithered like a snake in the air. It then jabbed forward, piercing straight through the flesh of the ookami. It erected itself on the otherside, entering on the right side of his chest... No need to strike vital organs. The Tendril formed small barbs before rotating quickly and shredding the wound up inside and out and discipating into shadowy mist.
- Romero burned the wounds shut with his dark flames, enough to prevent him from bleeding out. He then dropped him on the ground before igniting his own hand on fire and burning his handprint into the child much like he had to those other two ookami that day. A hand print now burned into Kyrian's back, Romero kicked him once while he was unconcious before looking towards the ookami girl.
- "Got two to carry back now..."
- (Romero)
- The occult woman had saw the battle conclude, and as it did, she jumped out of the tree, landing somewhere nearer to Romero than she once was, quickly taking the steps necessary to approach the young Malpercian. "Disappointing. He assualted you over wishing to bring our fellow occultist to glory, and your only punishment is capture? Why not devour him, or at the least, place occult energy within him and force him to realize the power of our arcana?" She spoke quickly, as a single hand rubbed against her eyes.
- A look was given over toward the Kaor, to who she waved pleasantly at. "Ah! You're the power I sensed. Would you happen to be a Kaor who's secondary element is not lightning? If so I do have something of a request for you." Her focus then split between both of her fellow demonblooded kindred. A tilt of her head as she stared at the afternoon sky, violet, glowing eyes seemingly lost in some sort of thought.
- (Sable)
- Bakuyu cared not for joining any organization. All he wanted to know was how to perform runes so that he coould begin experimenting..Though that was looking like something of the past. Who needed runes anyway when you could create your own occultic markings, symbolizig once alligence towards Bakuyu. The kaor's horns meant nothing to Bakuyu since he could easily grow them back using his natural regenerative abilties which could be amplified by the use of darkness magic. Infact, Bakuyu could regenerate them in a matter of minutes.."Remember this favor malpercian...I will seek you out when I need something from you. Do we have a deal?"
- Bakuyu would say this while reamaining in his cool state. His arms were still crossed and his tail was still playing around, lashing at things. The kaor's expression remained the same, blank and void of all emotion...All the kaor sought was power, and the knowledge to use that power to it's maximum potential. Anyone who could give him that would be seen as an ally as long as they did not seek to betray Bakuyu..
- (Bakuyu, the Devourer)
- As Kyrian had once again charged after the dark figure. This time with his additional extention. Giving him an upper hand on the battle. But it seemed to not work as he hadn't landed one hit. The taller figure was just avoiding all of his attacks with ease.
- Making him notice that he was clearly on the losing side. Causing him to become even more enraged. Making him lose his class and become his old feral self. Lashing out wildly as he became desperate. Losing himself to his rage. He couldn't die here. It wasn't something that he planned on.
- What made it even worse was that his own brother had left him. Not even waiting for him. Or having second thoughts of fighting alongside him. What kind of family memeber would do that.
- Clank!
- Weapons clashing filled the air as he looked fiercely into the darkness of the hood. Then the nerve of the figure would call him a mutt!
- Letting one hand go off the weapon. Kyrian reach out with his claws extended. Aiming for the creatures neck. But it wasn't long as tendrils would appear out of no where an stop his attack. Before long his arms were completely covered. His bones would start to wine due to the pressure that was being brought upon him. Causing Kyrian to clench his teeth as he tried to break free. But then more Trendils lashed out and grabed at his ankles. Making it impossible to break free. But he wasn't giving up as he tried to bite his way out. But that plan was quickly stopped as his body was soon being stretched apart.
- The pain would soon become unimagineable. Worse than the injuries that Balder had caused him. Actually, ten times that. Kyrian thought that Cyano and Balder could bring pain. Noo. . . he was wrong as he was brought a new definition of pain, and all he could think of is that he was going to die. The person he tried to save was probably going to die too, and most important of all. His brother had left him for dead.
- Kyrian couldn't help feeling angered for what had happened and what he got himself into. But it couldn't be helped. Its not as if he could turn back time. But just as Kyrian thought the pain was over.
- Ack!
- His body was pierced by one of the tendrils. Causing his vision to fade as he would soon pass out to the immeanse pain exploding throughout his body.
- " Krosious. . . why. . . ?" he managed to say before passing out
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- As the yokai spoke of what it wanted, Sable waved her right hand over her face, as if dismissing the intensity of it all. "Sure sure. If I can repay you for the horns being delievered into my hands, than I will, when the time comes. But for now? I need them for my experimentation, cousin. You'll get something back. Especially if you join the Yomi, and tell my son Arilma, you assisted me. I am sure he'll be willing to assist one who aided his mother. And he knows runes! I do too, but not so much." Of course both her hands than extended. Bakuyu's horns were rather large.
- She'd most likely need to carry one in each hand, rather than both in one hand. Perhaps it would have been easier in the long run to break them off against the creature's will but hey! Having some form of allies and doing things a bit more peacefully meant she could save time and resources for when real threats came about.
- "That fine? Basically I owe you something equal to your horns."
- (Sable)
- Romero felt a clear surge of annoyance! GAH! His teacher was so infuriating! Never good enough! Still, he aimed to impress with his darkness and if that was at the expense of some fool ookami that charged into battle against him to save a girl they didn't know... Well, then that was on them.
- "You should have known better..." he mumbled as he lifted the boy's weapon and plunged it into his hip. With a crude and painful looking yank and jerk, he slowly and gruesomly sawed through the left leg of Kyrian. Grinding of metal on bone could be heard resonating from the boy. Blood squelched and muscle and meat could be heard ripping as the limb was torn through with the dulled blade.
- Before long the leg was removed fully and a dark tendril lashed down and jerked the leg towards the Malpercian's right hand. It was gripped and simotaeneously it was devoured, twisting and deforming as it was melded and devoured by his evil and twisted limb in a grotesque fashion that left blood sullied on his arm.
- The deed was done, the leg gone. "Is this better, Sable?" he asked towards his teacher with a bit of an annoyed drawl as the occultic tendril plunged into the wound grossly before flooding it with occultism. The dark mana filled the ookami's body and Romero simply leto ut a huff.
- "It's a pain but I'll force him down the path of occultism... If he refuses I'll sacrifice more than his leg. Perhaps I'll have him kill that no good brother that abandoned him."
- (Romero)
- It seemed that Bakuyu was going to get himself involved with the malpercians. As long as they didn't try anything funny then everything would turn out fine. Though Bakuyu wasn't to sure who Arilma was, he didn't care too much. The supposed son of this Malpercian was given promise through her words, perhaps he was strong, maybe extremely strong. If he knew runes then that would only work towards Bakuyu's benefit; a win/win situation..Hearing that she was true to her word, Bakuyu would reach for his horns and rip them off, surely inducing some type of pain though it was nothing compared to what h'ed experienced in his life. Now having the large and long horns in his hands, Bakuyu would give them to the malpercian, hoping that she would really stay true to her word...
- "I hope you keep your word...My name is Bakuyu, what is your name malpercian?" Bakuyu would speak in a truly smooth and deep tone. Though it retained a demonic presence, Bakuyu could possibly have enthralled a lesser being with his very voice..
- (Bakuyu, the Devourer)
