I have a friend who runs a business. She sells in every country, and it feels like she has a million very different product lines. I'm sorry. I hope that by now the two of you are doing better. I would not want you to worry too much. We are alright over here so far, so I'm not gone.. That is reassuring, right? You have the suitcases and the T-shirts to prove our friendship as well. I did not mean for the latter to be a parting gift, but...

I am very grateful to have met both of you. It is embarrassing to admit, but in my wold, I did not have much more than my work. Being in the air was my life. There was nobody I would have called a close friend, but meeting the two of you changed this for me. Living with you made me very happy.

Ah... it is getting rather crowded, on this side. It's rather a shame; it would have been nice to put an end to this without further bloodshed.

As that seems as though it is not possible, then I will attempt to pass some of what we have learned to you all, instead. Perhaps you can do what I could not.

Quite a few of you who remain are from Japan, though it seems to be a Japan many years after mine. I wonder... are the artifacts we treasured in my day still as treasured in yours? Perhaps not, as I come from a time where men live and die by the sword. But I would like to believe that the most beautiful of them all would still be something heaven smiles upon.
