Are two little ships
Sailing toward the new land
Seeking freedom, religious and otherwise
From good ol’ England and all its men

When your point of view differs
From your ruler and all his men
What are you supposed to do?
Live like they say, or with opposition
Why make those your only choices?
Why not just flee the scene, and
Why don’t we just sail these ships
Straight to the new land

We are the pilgrims of England
Seeking freedom from our ruler, and
We may encounter dangers, but
