Attacker(s): John Lezell Balentine

Description: Balentine, a violent felon, crawled through a window to the Caylor home armed with a .32-caliber pistol early in the morning, and shot Steven,Mark, and Kai in the head as they slept, before fleeing. Balentine, who used to date the sister of one of the victims, was upset that he disapproved of the interracial relationship.
