- I've only completed about 60 shrines & I have a lot of quests to get through. These are just my thoughts from what I've experienced with the game while messing around & going through the story.
- Like:
- - Freedom
- - Minimal hand holding
- - Art Style
- - Music
- - Weapon durability
- - Customization
- - Cooking
- - Exploration
- - Shrines
- - Seeds
- - Multiple ways to solve problems
- - Attention to detail
- Dislike:
- - Lack of enemy variety
- - Not much incentive to attack enemy bases / strongholds
- - Divine Beast dungeons are far too easy and too short
- - The lack of visual themes for the Divine Beast dungeons
- - Those eyeballs you have to hunt down in the purple slime to remove it from the area in the dungeons. Pointless.
- - Boss fights are too easy
- - Every boss looks the same
- - Final boss felt like a bit of a let down
- I feel like I've had most of my fun while I'm not doing the main quests.
- Unsure about the voice acting. I liked it for some characters. I didn't feel like it added too much, though. Felt weird.
- It feels wrong comparing this game to previous 3D Zelda's because it's so different, so I'm not going to do that.
- I really like the new format. I'd be very happy if they built upon it for the sequel, hopefully with more quality, even if it's at the expense of some quantity.
