Patchwork: Repulic of Zeon

Shield of Axis: The current ruling faction, consisting of people from the Second Neo-Zeon Movement and the Sleeves. Their leader Marida Cruz adopts a defensive strategy, of protecting all newtypes and members of the old Repulic, and has organised Zeon forces to protect the allied colonies.

Zeon Alive: Consisting of Zeon forces from the Gryps Conflict, including many AEUG members, this faction preaches a more proactive approach, of striking first against any threats to the Zeon survivors.

The Loyalists: Comprised of Zeon forces from the One Year War era, this group claims to hold closest to the ideals of Zeon Dum Deikun and the Zabi Dynasty, and proposes a more expansionist tactic, to claim other areas of space and bring organised rule to the chaos of the Patchwork Earth Sphere.

Mars Zeon: The most isolationist faction, the Oldsmobile Army preaches a tactic of remaining in 'fortress points', and becoming unassailable by the many threats of the Patchwork. While hardly pacifists, they beleive in taking a long-term view, and securing Zeon before any aggressive action. Their current support for the Shield of Axis is the reason Commander Cruz has access to the secret technologies of Mars, but also means she has to answer to them for any major actions.
