- While Locke continues to search for the elusive SBURB website from which he obtained the game, one of the two prompts suddenly takes up his entire screen
- Lunlui's screen displays a young boy sitting at his computer in his room
- surrounding the edges of lunlui's screen are a variety of tabs, menus, and controls
- in the currently open menu, there's a list of large, mechanical devices on display
- AntagonistsHero
- ah: HEy, who are yOU?
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You squint at the screen, vaguely remembering this strange creature... Oh, that's right! It's one of your human friends! Well, acquaintances, you suppose. You wouldn't say you've reached friendship status with any of them--after all, it takes a long time to cultivate a relationship, and you haven't known them as long as some of your other friends.
- So he's playing too...? You move your mouse around the screen, exploring the menu.
- DM_tzivos
- You can see names listed under the devices and a small captchalogue card that appears to have holes punched in it
- DM_tzivos
- The names listed:
- cruxtruder
- alchemiter
- totem lathe
- punch designix
- pre-punched card
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: SPeak to me neRD
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- Interesting. You click on Cruxtruder, and bring your mouse down behind the human. Is this... wait, are you about to create something in a real environment? No way. You click directly behind the boy as a message appears on your HuD.
- DM_tzivos
- there's just enough room to -squeeze- the cruxtruder in the space behind Locke
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: You rang?
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: NO, i typED
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: My apolog1es, I thought that was an express1on humans were fam1l1ar w1th
- UR: Anyways, um
- UR: There's a th1ng beh1nd you
- AntagonistsHero
- You turn around, and, surprise surprise, there is a huge thing behind you
- AH: OH, thIS
- AH: I Tottally forget what this is fOR
- AH: CAn you put down more stuFF?
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: 1'm not even sure what 1'm do1ng over here
- UR: Maybe?
- You select the alchemiter, and try to find free space for it in the human hive.
- DM_tzivos
- as you drag your mouse across the screen, the camera follows closely and you can see an empty lounge room with enough space for the alchemiter and perhaps one more device
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Before 1 ru1n the astet1c of your abode any further
- UR: What was your name aga1n?
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: OH, it's LocKE. YOuRS?
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Lunlu1
- UR: 1 mean Lunlui
- UR: Well
- UR: You get the p1cture
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: I DO
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Sorry 1f 1 don't remember you from before
- UR: 1 haven't spoken much w1th any of you guys s1nce the reveal
- You set the alchemiter down in the lounge, close to the corner of the room so that there's more free space for another crazy object
- DM_tzivos
- it lands with a heavy *THUD* and Locke can feel the floor shaking slightly
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: NOr have I, never really contact anyoNE : /
- I go to the loungeroom
- you*
- DM_tzivos
- The lounge room is unaffected by the placing of the device, and everything is still in its original place
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Hope I didn't break anything
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: DOn't worry, the more things broken here the happier I'll BE
- You inspect the Alchemiter
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: That's an odd th1ng to say
- UR: Why am 1 do1ng th1s again?
- DM_tzivos
- the alchemiter is a considerably massive device with a large, flat, elevated platform taking up the majority of the device's appearance and -presumably- function
- there is a smaller platform with a very large mechanical arm protruding from one of the devices corners
- the mechanical arms appears to be in an inoperable condition
- AntagonistsHero
- You put your arm in where the mechanical arm grabs
- DM_tzivos
- you're unable to reach the mechanical arm's mechanical hand, as the mechanical arm is at least twice as tall as you
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: I did this with someone else, but I was placing htings down, I completely forget the order of things and all that thouGH
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: So they have th1s game on Earth too?
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: I'D suppose they do seeing as I'm playing it right nOW
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: ... R11111111111ght
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: CAn you placce down more thinGS?
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: 1'll just
- UR: Yeah
- You try to fit the totem lathe into the lounge as well.
- DM_tzivos
- The totem lathe fits surprisingly well into an empty space in the middle of the room
- it lands with a much lighter *thud*
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- While you wait for Locke to inspect it, you click and drag on a random item in the lounge.
- AntagonistsHero
- You inspect the totem Lathe
- DM_tzivos
- As locke inspects the totem lounge, he can see the clamps on either end of the device, the lever sitting below an empty card slot, and a very sharp needle sitting above the clamps
- while he does that, Lunlui finds that his mouse cursor is now locked onto a small vase
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You try and see if you can move the object around with the mouse, bringing it closer to Locke.

- Lunlui accidentally drags his mouse across the screen and sends the pot careening towards Locke
- It hits him in the head and smashes into tons of tiny pieces
- Locke, take 2 damage
- AntagonistsHero
- "Holy shit, what the fuck"
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- ... Well. Fuck. Umm, maybe he'll think it wasn't you.
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: WHat the hell did you DO!
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: 1
- UR: Uh
- UR: There's a crazy human 1n your house watch out
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: UGh, doesn't matter, I think I need the pre punched caRD
- AH: WAit whAT!
- AH: THere IS!
- AH: SHIT
- You go back to your basement
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Yeah he just up and ran out
- UR: 1 d1dn't see where he went, we better hurry up before he comes back
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: OH, oh, definetly, I know it was yOU
- DM_tzivos
- down in Locke's basement, he can see a faint, orange glow coming from under the cruxtruder's lid
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You frantically select a pre punched card and try to set it down near Locke.
- DM_tzivos
- the pre-punched card drops next to Locke
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Look, 1t's my f1rst t1me at th1s, alr1ght?
- AntagonistsHero
- You attempt to open the Cruxtruder's lid
- AH: IT was my first time tOO. DOn't worry about IT
- DM_tzivos
- The lid looks loose, but in reality it is sealed tighter than government secrets
- AntagonistsHero
- You deploy some russians : 3
- You pick up the pre punched card and rush back to the loungeroom
- DM_tzivos
- the lounge room is in the same state as before, but now with shards of a vase on the floor
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: 1'll try not to click th1ngs, 1 guess
- UR: You seem 1n a hurry
- AntagonistsHero

- DM_tzivos
- it fits smoothly into the slot
- AntagonistsHero

- AH: ayy I hope this would work
- hoped*
- You pull the lever
- DM_tzivos
- the clamps move closer together and begin spinning rapidly as the needle descends
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: What are you do1ng?
- DM_tzivos
- it only takes a few seconds, and then the clamps and needle move to their original positions
- AntagonistsHero
- You retrieve the card
- AH: HAve you placed down everythiNG?
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Let me check
- You look around the menu and place down a punch designix close to Locke.
- DM_tzivos
- there's no more room in the lounge for any other devices
- the device flashes red to signify this
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: There's one more th1ng, but your h1ve 1s so small
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: It's a houSE
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: The fuck 1s a house
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: PUt it outside or in another roOM. ACtually can you please do my parent's bedroOM
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: 1 don't know what a parent 1s but okay
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: PUt it in the fancy looking bedroOM
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You look around the "house", find the fanciest room, and drop the punch designix there.
- DM_tzivos
- The punch designix lands almost softly in between an ornate wooden dresser and a king-sized bed with four large wooden posts on the corners hoisting an embroidered silk tapestry above the matress
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: There, done
- AntagonistsHero
- You run to the bedroom
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Why the running
- UR: 1s th1s a speedrun?
- DM_tzivos
- everything in the bedroom is in order
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: I Want TO
- You punch the machine
- DM_tzivos
- you hit the machine and your fist is sore
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You respect the punch but find everything else about this human ridiculous.
- AntagonistsHero
- You inspect the machine
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Nice punch
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: CHeeRS
- DM_tzivos
- the machine looks like somewhat of a keyboard-piano hybrid, with slots for captchalogue cards, red and green lights, and a small keyboard situated on a small desk-space
- AntagonistsHero
- You play twinkle twinkile little star
- DM_tzivos
- the keyboard just makes a bunch of *clacking* noises as you slap the keys
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: 1 am so lost r1ght now
- AntagonistsHero
- You put the card in hte slots for captchalogue cards
- AH: GOOD : 3
- DM_tzivos
- the card fits perfectly into the slot, and a red light starts blinking and *beep*ing
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: And 1'm not gett1ng much enjoyment out of this game e1ther
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: THat's because you are so autistic at throwing objecTS
- You play the keyboard again
- DM_tzivos
- more *clack*ing
- AntagonistsHero
- You smash the desk
- DM_tzivos
- you do that, and now both your hands are sore
- the desk is still intact, and you look like an idiot
- AntagonistsHero
- You go back to the totem lathe, hoping something had hapened
- DM_tzivos
- nothing happened
- AntagonistsHero
- You notice the card slot, and pop the card inside
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: And you're just as bad at phys1cal strength, 1t looks l1ke
- UR: Not that 1 don't apprec1ate the effort, but do you even l1ft?
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: YOu shut UP
- DM_tzivos
- you remember that you already went through the routine of inserting the pre-punched card into the totem lathe's slot
- AntagonistsHero
- You rememeber that you did
- You go the bedroom and inspect the Cruxtruder
- DM_tzivos
- the orange glow has gotten much stronger, and you can see a valve to turn and what looks like an inactive timer on the side of the device
- the lid looks like it'd be easy enough to remove with some kind of force
- AntagonistsHero
- You try and turn the valve
- DM_tzivos
- You can turn the valve a few inches before you're unable to turn it any further, and you hear a little *bump* coming from under the lid
- AntagonistsHero
- You look at the lid
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Your form 1s terr1ble
- UR: 1 need to send you some we1ghts
- DM_tzivos
- the orange glow, brighter than before, continues to leak from underneath the lid
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: EW, weighTS?
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: You know
- UR: For l1ft1ng
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: CAn you chuck something at this thiNG?
- AH: I'Ll just wait outside while your doing thAT
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: You want me to throw someth1ng?
- AntagonistsHero
- You go outside
- AH:YES
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Yeah, that's probably for the best
- DM_tzivos
- Locke is now outside, and he notices it's a warmer-than-average day
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You start to look around for something to grab, then, thinking about it, try to pop open the lid with your cursor
- DM_tzivos
- the cursor is unable to lock on to the lid
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: I Haven't done weights since, well since I was born I gueSS
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- Alright, back to plan B: Find something heavy and knock it against the lid.
- UR: You did weights as a ch1ld?
- AntagonistsHero
- That was plan A
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- Plan C then
- AntagonistsHero
- AH: NO, I'm saying that I'v never done thEM
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Then just say 1t
- UR: Anyways, hope you don't m1ss whatever th1s 1s

- the heavy box goes flying through the air and hits the lid perfectly
- AntagonistsHero
- (lol good shit)
- DM_tzivos
- the lid goes flying and cruxite dowels begin to follow it
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: Woah
- UR: What's all this

- unyeildingRecreationalist

- DM_tzivos
- after the dowels stop flying out, a small kernelsprite slowly floats out of the cruxtruder's now open tube
- a timer begins counting down
- 11:11
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You click on the sprite.
- AntagonistsHero
- You stroll back inside guessing that UR has thrown opened the lid
- DM_tzivos
- you're unable to click on the sprite. The cursor flashes red and the game makes a *BEEP*
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: See for yourself
- AntagonistsHero
- You go to the basement
- DM_tzivos
- Strolling back inside and into the basement, Locke can see his basement abode's floor is littered with orange cruxite dowels
- the kernelsprite lazily floats in the air and begins to follow Locke
- AntagonistsHero
- "Good, what is that thing?"
- You pick up one of the cruxite dowels
- DM_tzivos
- it's a very smooth, cylindrical object seemingly made out of some kind of crystalline material
- unyeildingRecreationalist

- UR: And of course, all those crazy cyl1nders on the ground
- DM_tzivos
- The alchemiter is just sitting there
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- ((MENICINGLY))
- AntagonistsHero
- You fit the cruxite dowel in the mechanical arm
- DM_tzivos
- once again, the mechanical arm is currently inoperable and far too tall to meaningfully interact with
- AntagonistsHero
- You inspect the Alchemiter again
- DM_tzivos
- the small and large platform are both adorned with an identical spirograph pattern which is familiar
- the small platform looks like the perfect size for the dowel
- AntagonistsHero
- You place the dowel on the small platform
- DM_tzivos
- it sits there and nothing special happens

- you remember the totem lathe had an open space that's probably for cruxite dowels
- AntagonistsHero
- you place the Dowel inside
- DM_tzivos
- the dowel fits perfectly in between the clamps
- 8:00
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- UR: The t1mer 1s at 8:00
- UR: What even happens when 1t reaches zero?

- You place the card inside the totem lathe and pull the lever
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You look around the house, tired of these aimless shenanigans, and try to see how far you can get the camera to scroll.
- DM_tzivos
- As Locke pulls the lever, after having inserted the pre-punched card into its slot, the clamps tighten and begin spinning rapidly as the needle descends and begins to carve away at the dowel

- DM_tzivos
- after a brief moment, the needle finishes its work and the clamps loosen their grip
- 5:00
- AntagonistsHero
- You pick up the dowel and the card, and go the punch designix
- DM_tzivos
- Lunlui finds that the box has broken apart after using it to open the lid
- in its place are a slew of notes and small trinkets
- Locke sees that everything is still in order in his parents' bedroom
- unyeildingRecreationalist
- You try and see if you can select or read one of the notes. Maybe there's a zoom function...
- AntagonistsHero
- You inspect the Punch designix
- DM_tzivos
- There is, indeed, a zoom , however, Lunlui is unable to zoom in far enough to read the notes
- Locke sees that the punch designix hasn't changed since he last tried playing with it like a child
- AntagonistsHero

- the red light begins to flash and you hear the same *BEEP* as before

- I go to the Alchemiter
- DM_tzivos
- It sits there, waiting to be useful
- Lunlui, meanwhile, can't find a lot of interesting stuff to look at
- AntagonistsHero
- You examine every nook and cranny, and put the dowel and prepunched card in every possible place it could go
- DM_tzivos
- The pre-punched card has no slot or place on the alchemiter, but the carved dowel fits perfectly onto the small platform

- DM_tzivos
- the box is in pieces, so nothing can be scooped up into it
- meanwhile, the sprite which has been lazily following Locke suddenly bursts to life as it begins whizzing around Locke's head, trying to get his attention
- AntagonistsHero
- You place all the broken pieces of the amulet into you hand, and you organise it so it would be fitting together

- AntagonistsHero

- AH: DId you get the trinkets inside the bOX?

- once the light fades you can see the sprite has taken the shape of the wooden fragment
- AntagonistsHero
- "Arrrghh god"
- DM_tzivos
- it's no longer frantically buzzing around and has resumed its lazy behavior from before
- AntagonistsHero
- "Help me thing!"
