  1. Well, they both spoke and he found it hard to follow. With Hendrix's words, he assumed the kid was trying to point fingers, literally! He just wanted some sort've justice for Ariadne's actions! Erik just found it funny, maybe he was just a sore loser? ''Yap, yap, yap...'' He mimics Hendrix with his hand. ''Instead of crying because you lost, take it and get stronger... then you beat her up for revenge!'' He shrugged. ''Or you could get a group of kids and jump her, that's what I would do if someone was tougher than me.'' Erik openly admits he wouldn't play fair, not ever.
  2.
  3. Luckily these were just kids.
  4.
  5. ''But yes.'' He cackles at the punch into Hendrix shoulder. ''If you don't think you deserve punishment, there is no reason for me to give one to you. Plus I think I would make your mother mad, you'll end up crying if I punished you!'' Haha! he was most certainly going to remove an arm or something, it's like his hands were shaking in excitement of doing so!
  6.
  7. ''Go find your mother and see if she will let you be her assistant, if she says no. I may consider letting you be mine instead, it depends what mood I am in...'' He hums, turning back to Hendrix. ''And you, do you not wanna be a soldier too? what kind of dream do you have...''
  8. (Erik Hirano)
  9. "Shut up."
  10.
  11. Nah. He was fed up, with how Erik was spinning this. It was unbearable, his attempt at protecting the honor of his sister, and all he has to show for it are wounds, and scars caused by another sister?! "I'm going home." With that, he turns, leaving the commander, and Ariadne alone.
  12.
  13. Hendrix didn't want to be a soldier, and even less than that he wanted to be a soldier for Nostvale! This is how the boy felt right now; ego hurt, and his side completely omitted from the books in favor of the victors-- a glimpse into the reality of things, how life played out in battles of life or death, and such-and-such.
  14.
  15. "Stupid... Soldier, hmph! Never!" Grumbling as he walked along the beaten path, actually limping along if one searched for accuracy. Blah-blah, if not stopped he leaves, and all that, otherwise he stays in light of intervention.
  16. (Hendrix Este)
  17. It seemed as though the girl had managed to anger the hell out of the Este boy, and maybe that was not her goal here... But boy did it make the little hot head a little bit angry on the inside. A glance over in the direction of the boy, and she'd let a huff of breath free from her nose, a bit of smoke billowing outwards there as she narrowed her eyes at him. Hmph. It was not her fault that she had to go and exercise what she thought was the law... Her mannerisms were a bit misconstrued, but... She was definitely looking out for the rules or whatever else...! Bouncing her head in a nod there, she turned on her heel a bit as she moved to go find her mother.
  18.
  19. "Okay! I think she'll say yes, but I would be your assistant too, Mister Commander! I can do both 'cause I'm pretty awesome." Heeheee, she was a confident little tyke, no one could take that from her. And she was going to manage to force her way through any and all forces that might've been in her way, but...
  20.
  21. Other than that, if she was not stopped? She'd be sure to skip off to find Elena to deliver the news! Whoopty doo!
  22. (Ariadne Eldor)
  23. ''Shut up?''
  24.
  25. Erik laughed, but it was only for a moment. SNATCH! His arm extends out, while his hand grabs around Hendrix's throat harshly, bringing him down to the ground and placing him beneath his knee. Erik made sure to place his knee on his throat, only putting on a tiny bit of pressure to gently suffocate him under his power, but he made sure to let Hendrix get air every so often.
  26.
  27. ''You watch who you're speaking to, I don't take kindly to people of any age, who'd be rude to me in such a way.'' He shows a toothy grin down at Hendrix, leaving him to suffer under this while he looks back up to Ariadne. ''Yes, go and find your mother and I guess I will use you too.'' He shrugged. ''But you can't be properly in the military until you hit age ten.'' Plus Elena would scream like a big baby, if he put a little kid that was her daughter into the army, this wasn't no place for any kids.
  28.
  29. Until he turns his head down to Hendrix. ''I'm going to give you two choices, when I lift my knee up slightly to give you air, like I have done before putting pressure back down onto your throat.'' He laughs. ''You can apologise within the short time given, if not... well, who knows what'll happen?!''
  30. (Erik Hirano)
  31. Fucking Kane'd.
  32.
  33. That's what happened in the short time that he turned from Erik, the commander letting loose with a laugh before striking like the viper that he was in truth. Fingers closing around flesh, inner walls of throat forcibly compressed. His eyes bulge as a result as his hands immediately raise in attempts to thwart the Hirano's course of action!
  34.
  35. To no avail, his only respite found in that moment where he is then roughly placed on the ground, a knee to his neck now. Wheezing, the breaths are painful -- as they come in intervals, the graceful charity of the three eyed lord. Once again reprimanded, this time for the words that he so plainly soke; not knowing one's betters proving to be the same as a death wish in short.
  36.
  37. "Ack! Huuooou!" As he chokes, only to be released to breathe in, the sound only serving to enhance his torment. Ariadne receives instructions, given orders, and then told to go on her way from that point. His eyes don't find her, held on Erik -- eyes only for the man, a bitter feeling welling up in the pit of his stomache.
  38.
  39. Given two options in the end, the boy faces a tough choice, one that would need him to relinquish his stubborness in order to attain freedom. "You...--" Unable to finish, he ends with a shake of his head- the words lost on him, as air is continously given to him only to be yanked away as quick as it does come.
  40. (Hendrix Este)
  41.
  42. ''What?''
  43.
  44. Hendrix didn't sound like he was apologising, he didn't sound even remotely close. So he wasn't going to apologise? Erik found that even more amusing, someone he was sure feared him, now was refusing to apologise when asked to? ''My, my...'' He sounds disappointed. ''Now you'll just have to find out what happens, when you choose not to apologise!''
  45.
  46. Reaching down, Erik grabs Hendrix by his top and forcefully drags him out of the small space, between his knee and the ground. Once he was lifted into the air in front of him, Erik just flashes a calm smile. ''Good. You stay true to who you are and keep doing what you want to do, don't let others try and change you!'' Some inspiring words given! ''But keep in mind, when someone immensely strong and powerful like... me?! you should try and hold that tongue or I will rip it out of your mouth, with my hand!''
  47.
  48. Tossing Hendrix into the air, Erik's entire body spins with Time to accelerate his movements impressively. SMACK! A roundhouse kick is delivered right into the stomach of Hendrix, easily forcing him to cough up blood and become wounded, while he could possible even have a broken rib or two from this single attack!
  49.
  50. Watching Hendrix's body slide across the ground, Erik picks up his voice. ''If you cry, I will kick you harder!'' Erik drew Exodus, placing the tip against the ground and crouching down, staring right at Hendrix and waiting. Like a Predator stalking their prey.
  51. (Erik Hirano)
  52. This wasn't just an issue of pride, or stubborness. The Este unwilling to have his choices, and actions dominated so easily, he does not waver in his refusal. The silence in the end filled by yet another gasp for air as he wrenched into the air -- the mad monologues of a madman heard, and with every word there is that feeling of embitterment taking root in the boy in regards to this particular man.
  53.
  54. "S-stup--!!" A rush of pain, force, and the wind blowing past in a flurry as he is rag dolled through the air. His last sight before impact being that of Erik leaping into action after throwing him; spins mid-way to enhance the force of incoming blows, the child is dealt a jarring experience today. Flung some several feet through this method he immediately heaves, and gags while grasping something, anything that wagered support for his battered body.
  55.
  56. Even while in this state, the jeers, and cackling howls of enjoyment that were present within Erik were heard, stirring something in the boy despite his inability to truly act on the impulses manifested. "I... I won't cry from something so soft like that, STUPID." Finding a voice, that had found fury -- he lets fly with that smart mouth again.
  57.
  58. Not even standing, on his knees, he holds at his stomach with one hand, while the other supports him from falling the floor in regards to his drastically rising. Sharing contact with Erik, eye to eye as best as he could; those glaring purple dots frozen in place as they memorized every inch, and section of the Commander's face.
  59.
  60. (Hendrix Este)
  61. Oh? So it seems that he wasn't going to back down, Erik liked how he stayed with his personality, but did he not learn anything from that kick? When someone stronger than you by a stupid amount tell's you to give up, you give up and swallow your own dignity.
  62.
  63. ''Oh... more? MORE?!''
  64.
  65. It was lucky Erik had soldiers block of this part of the city earlier, it would mean no one was able to witness Hendrix's beating. He had made sure to signal guards to make bystanders unable to come through this bit, due to the fight between the children earlier. So now, he had the quiet place where no one could witness the Commander disciplining the local youth! Perfect.
  66.
  67. ''HAHA, MORE!''
  68.
  69. Erik grins, sheathing Exodus on his back again, while he stands and makes his way over to Hendrix. ''How old are you... five?'' Erik hums. ''Human too... how disgusting!'' A quick kick is delivered into Hendrix's mouth, hard enough to force him onto his backside and cut up his lip, while Erik doesn't stop with just that! Taking a step forwards, he places his foot on the ribs kicked earlier, applying pressure, enough to even take the air out of his lungs. ''SOFT, SUCH A SOFT HIT!''
  70.
  71. But once he had done putting pressure on Hendrix's ribcage, he moves on top of the boy. The towering and stupidly tall structure of Erik, putting his knees on the boy's arms to hold him down. ''If I stamp on your head continuously, it would kill you...'' He clicks his tongue. ''Mmm... so I should just punch you in the face over and over again, this way you won't die.''
  72.
  73. And instantly he begins. -- One after the other, fists are swung into the face of Hendrix, punching harder and harder, knocking out teeth and breaking noses, causing lumps to mold over eyes and Erik didn't show any signs of stopping. The small boy was going to be punched over and over again, until he was either choking on his own blood or knocked out, hopefully knocked out!
  74. (Erik Hirano)
  75. There was a ringing that kept getting louder in his ears, the words of the Hirano sounded farther, and farther away. Maybe that was a good thing...? He beginning to prattle on about his age, and.. race? Was he not human himself? While appearance would surely suggest as much save for the imperfection of that one extra eye -- coupled with his strength, and brutaility, Hendrix had a hard time seeing this as anything a human could do.
  76.
  77. With the first of another kick having him lifted into the air once again for a split second, falling on his back he coughs up flecks of blood, and phlegm. It was all too much to take- the small body of the boy was not as stury as he like to let on. Having the ability to manipulate the earth into shields for his flesh were inaccessible as well; powerless against this onslaught, against the raw unrefined form of power that was Erik.. He was rather helpess.
  78.
  79. "AAAAAH!!!" A high shriek as a foot makes contact with ribs, crushing them, the bones are practically felt through the folds of his robe as they break one by one. Punctured wounds from before, and knicks and scratches all pile up -- internal injuries stockpiling, and an unseen amount of blood lost. Had the boy not been quite as magical as he was, a frail untapped human... He'd be dead by this point surely. Not that his current fate was any better, if anything it was a hundred times worse.
  80.
  81. Knees set to work on his arms, the thin worn muscles that could no longer even offer meager cries of protest, how they had been spent. It was all too much, the relentless torture, magnified by the gap in protection as well.
  82.
  83. A powerless, weak, basically equivalent to a regular non-magi human at this point little boy. With Erik standing over him, he goes, again, and again... Letting fly left hook, and right hook - bruises eyes, broken nose, clipped lips, and swelling rapidly growing.
  84.
  85. Blood spewed, it poured, and oozed from what seemed like an infinite number of small cuts, and bruises inflicted by the Hirano. "Ouuuuhhooaa.." The horrible moan that was released, his voice stolen, yet the sound of misery finding chords that could still carry a somber tone through the air.
  86.
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90. (Hendrix Este)
  91. Erik stops.
  92.
  93. Staring down at the beaten boy on the ground, that was surely enough for now. Erik's fists bloody and battered, he just stands up from the boys beaten down form. Erik just bing's his fist up to his face, Sienna hues slit with a predatory gaze, a long tongue to flick out and lick the blood away from his knuckles. A side of Erik the public wasn't to witness... and to have this place blocked of earlier, it was a lucky coincidence.
  94.
  95. ''In future, you'll keep in mind who you are messing with.'' He giggles, leaning down to the hardly conscious boy. ''You did good, but there is a limit.'' He takes some blood onto his finger. ''When someone stronger than you, tell's you to apologise... you do it and shut up.'' Erik draws a bloody eye on Hendrix's forehead, making sure he'd remember it.
  96.
  97. ''Now then... I am done with you, I don't care if you go crying to your mother either.'' He uses his white top, cleaning the blood from his hands. ''Also, if you run away from the city because I did this, then you've just granted me ultimate victory!'' He extends his hands, making his way back to the gathering crowds that were curious about what was going on behind the soldiers. ''Hahaha!''
  98.
  99. But once he reached them, in his bloody state... he just raises his hands to quiet them. ''Calm down people, I was just showing some kids who use magic discipline. You all know how powerful magic is and kids throwing their weight around is more dangerous than a Lesser yokai running a mock around the city.'' His hands clasp. ''So I taught them a lesson, one that a magi can withstand and I am sure these kids will keep in mind not to get out of control in the future.'' The crowd seemed pleased, magi kids were clearly treated like adults due to their strength.
  100.
  101. ''Now, this route is open again... thank-you and keep safe!'' His smile widens, while he moves and aims to head back to the keep, Hendrix was finished with and the people seemed pleased with Erik's actions. Even though some questioned his method of discipline.
  102. (Erik Hirano)
  103. "Meeh..."
  104.
  105. What little he could muster, his voice lost for the moment. As the onslaught stops, with him lying in what was easily distinguished as a puddle of his blood, and Erik's sweat mixed together. As it leaked into the cracks in the pavement, soaking itself into the city of Nostvale, apart of him now forever ingrained into this city.
  106.
  107. Adding furthering humilation to his punishment- the Este forced to listen in on one final "lesson" able to clearly hear it this time as he appears lucid despite outward situational circumstance. Erik's advice does little to bolster his spirits, and the mark that he is given on his head -- the touch of blood smearing, and print left there; disgust wells up deep within. Had he not been subjected to this which surely expelled any bodily fluids he could have once said he held in, he would throw up right then and there as a reactionary habit to Erik's proximity.
  108.
  109. His coos, and insincere way of handling it all -- he hated it. From how he assumed he'd ever let anyone know of this, or that he'd run away; the nerve of such presumptious thoughts! Being made an example of in such a way, as things begin to drift- vision at the corner of his eyes going dark, pupils unfocused, slowly his conscious slips as his body pleads in it's own way for him to seek respite.
  110.
  111. The last words heard though of course, are the most daunting -- To the crowd, the Commander speaks as though this was a deed to truly educate an unruly child, to justify this by playing on their fears of magic. Had Ariadne herself not utilized her powers, beating not one, but three people in the street? Yet she was praised, while he himself had been dealt a punishment that could not fit the topic of severe alone to explain the cruelties inflicted upon his body.
  112.
  113. Keep Safe The irony there, in the Commander's words as he had just finished mercilessly coming at one of his own citizens. It was too much, so much that he couldn't take it -- finally slipping into the safeties of unconciousness his body remains there in it's broken stat, and with every wheezy breath, and every rise of his chest; the pain remains, having not subsided even in thiese quiet moments.
  114. (Hendrix Este)
