  1. Hi Yeray, it's great to hear from you! I would really like that beer, let's make it sometimes soon!
  2.
  3.
  4.
  5. I can sympathise with being in a tight spot, having been there myself for the better part of four years! To be honest it feels great being "just" an employee. That said I'm open to doing some work for you on the side.

  9. Two problems challenges immediately come to mind.

  13. 1. We do not own any of the peerCast IP/code. So we would either have to start over or you have to work something out with peerCast (Carlman). To be honest I think we should start from the beginning. peerCast is 95% stuff you will never need and now that we have a clear idea of what you need I think something new will give you a better end result. Also, you don't have to negotiate with Carlman. I think that we have no ability to demonstrate the app without first getting an OK from Carlman. We may have some videos lying around that we could show.

  17. 2. Andreas and I are bound by a non-compete with the (remaining) owners of peerCast. So before we start work we need to clear that up. But let's burn that bridge when we come to it.

  21. So, I'm initially positive but I also need to be honest that I think we have very valuable competencies here (that you won't find anywhere else), and I would be doing this at a high personal cost since this means I will basically have no free time until the project is done. So I need to ask you, what is the budget for this?

  25. Either way, I'd love to have a beer with you. Next week?
