  1. <-- Calfuray joined New Celest! And Gurashi offered to give her a tour IC to see the city's landmarks, as well as a few other highlights (the willow tree, the park, the tree-y areas etc)
  2.
  3. LOOKIT ME
  4. Standing at a lithe five-foot eleven, they are a graceful elfen kindly demigod changeling. Their shoulders are sharp and broad, their arms surprisingly sinewy and ending in long, lissome hands. Their gentle complexion is of a smooth tawny hue and covered in a smattering of dark freckles. Their long cheeks and thin, upturned nose both bear a permanent shade of blush, accentuated by the greatest cluster of freckles. A moderately sized crescent-shaped scar mars their right cheek, brightly visible against the deep hue of their skin. A hint of discolored flesh can be seen at the center of their sternum, mostly obscured by their clothing. Their thin elfen ears are slightly longer than average, pointing downward and just visible behind the tangled mess of vibrant, apricot-colored hair. A shock of bone-white has grown in along their left temple, lending a somewhat aged appearance to their otherwise youthful features. Their sleepy eyes are perhaps their most striking feature, a vibrant blue-gray that almost seem to glow against all the surrounding hues.
  5. They are wearing:
  6. a starry wreath of celestial light set atop their head like a halo
  7. a circlet of crystal thorns resting loosely atop their head
  8. a vivid red-orange poppy tucked lovingly behind their left ear
  9. an ebon throwover cloak striated with lilac patterns wrapped protectively about their form
  10. the Mantle of Starlight which flows dreamily about their shoulders and back
  11. a sleeveless black tunic which clings to their upper body flatteringly
  12. mercurial Mysraian prayer beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  13. a Glomdoring friendship bracelet which jingles softly on their left wrist
  14. minty citrus incense beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  15. a shifting, living poppy of amethyst petals worn delicately upon their left wrist
  16. a driftwood ring of sea breezes fitted tightly to their left middle finger
  17. simple white linen trousers which swish around their legs freely
  18. Refined Boots of the Paladin, worn and weathered from use.
  19.
  20. LOOKIT CALFURAY
  21. She is a glistening mugwump demigoddess. Midnight skin covers her body, dark shades of blues, purples, and greens flow over lean, well-defined muscles. Her body curves around the chest and under the waist, accentuating her feminine features. Stark white hair has been neatly braided into thin rows, moving from her forehead all the way back to hang just over her shoulder, each braid adorned with a feather, or a tiny skull, a wooden bead or a runed pebble. The braids are bothered only by dual rows of short spikes, both beginning at the centre of her forehead and finishing just under the ears. Humanoid mouth and nose adorn the face, resting under a pair of large, yellow eyes with dark pupils. A slight sheen covers her skin, the result of a protective liquid secreted from her skin, which also results in every fabric sticking to her skin. Soothing mists of water and light weave about her in a sparkling white veil, marking the truefavour of Lantra, the Empyreal. The intoxicating fragrance of bromeliads perfumes the air as a glaucous spray of water churns impulsively about her, relishing the truefavour of Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons.
  22. She is wearing:
  23. a bloodstone lizard bracelet
  24. a midnight-black engagement ring set with a fiery ruby
  25. a beautiful silver bracelet with jeweled wildflowers
  26. a sapphire heart pendant
  27. a platinum skeletal exoskeleton
  28. an alluring bromeliad flower is tucked between the neat white braids of her hair.
  29. They are a burly tae'dae empyreal demigod. A giant bear-like creature of black and white stands here. At a glance, their features show that they are a burly tae'dae empyreal demigod. Standing just a shade taller than most single-story structures, this tae'dae bears black and white markings similar to that of a panda. Their bright blue eyes are inquisitive, yet kind and welcoming. Their well-groomed fur seems to be stained here and there with what looks like blood, remnants from their last foray into one hunting ground or another. Bulky muscle seem to ripple throughout almost their entire form, the exception being their ample belly which they pat proudly from time to time. A subtle yet immense aura of power seems to radiate from them, the tell-tale mark of one of the Demi-Divine of the First World.
  30. They are wearing:
  31. an etched turquoise ring
  32. a scratched white onyx ring of suffering
  33. a suit of polished field plate armour
  34. Urlach's Black Gauntlet
  35. a Bladed Harness of the Cow Butcher
  36. mechanical goggles
  37. a dark pearl pocket watch with a clover charm
  38. a Brooch of the Elements
  39. a star-etched garnet ring
  40. an iced medal of the Guardians
  41. the Commandant's Knot
  42. the Commandant's Sash.
  43.
  44. <-- us in the theater, gawking at its largeness
  45.
  46. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Where is the library?"
  47.
  48. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Calfuray.
  49.
  50. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Ah! it is not far, actually, just beside the guild hall of the Archons..."
  51.
  52. You have emoted: Gurashi makes a beckoning motion. "If the stage is southeast from the Pool of Stars, the library is southwest, yes."
  53.
  54. <-- walkie walkie
  55.
  56. The entrance to the Lodestar Athenaeum.
  57. Shimmering mist hangs in the air, drifting away from a healing shrine of Carakhan nearby. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. Within the entrance to the Lodestar Athenaeum, smooth walls of pearlescent shell part to allow the confines a calm, airy space in which the sounds of falling water linger. Columns of angel-carved coral rise here and there, doing little to dispel the sense of open structure; beyond, a pool of rippling, light-streaked water spreads. The structure spirals upwards, curving in a smooth ascent along the interior of the shell. Higher in the structure, glimpses of pale bookshelves unfold like the feathers of an angel's wing, curling inwards and outwards with each glimpse. Gently dancing upon the warm sea breeze, a dazzling banner bearing the five pointed Star of Celest sparkles here with a soft white glow.
  58. You see exits leading north, southeast, and southwest.
  59. "Tada!" you say with a proud expression on your face.
  60.
  61. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "I need to see that too!"
  62.
  63. "Oooooooooh!" Calfuray says, eyes wide with wonder.
  64.
  65. Gesturing up, you say, "See? Our library! It is a BIG building, yes! There is a waterfall here!"
  66.
  67. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "But the books are dry, do not worry!"
  68.

  70. Within the Lodestar Athenaeum.
  71. Shimmering mist hangs in the air, drifting away from a healing shrine of Carakhan nearby. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. High, arching ceilings encompass rows upon rows of bookshelves, wrapping around the vast circular library. Niches high along the wall hold coral candelabras, their sharp light streaming through panels of stained glass laid over the openings. At the apex of the arches, a grand mural of the Celestial heavens has been painted, the radiant forms of Elohora and Her Supernal entourage peering down upon the books below. Spread evenly throughout the chamber, cherrywood tables and high-backed chairs of fine mahogany provide ample space for study, and the quills and inkwells set along the tables allow for the delicate work of the scribe. The arched entryway opens out into the Lodestar Athenaeum, the outer edge bordered in gold paint, silver conch shells decorating the length. A library catalogue rests here on a pedestal. There are 3 chaise rocking chairs fashioned as a giant rose-haired tarantula here. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. You may use the LIBRARY commands here.
  72. You see a single exit leading north.
  73.
  74. With a flourish of your hand, you gesture at the empty air.
  75.
  76. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Be-hold: books! Learnings!"
  77.
  78. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "With so many wet hands around the city I would be surprised if the books were not waterproof."
  79.
  80. You throw back your head as you let loose a delighted laugh.
  81.
  82. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "They do not seem like it, and they DO get wet... they do get wrinkly, if are not careful..."
  83.
  84. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say to Calfuray, "Ah, you were asking me be-fore, about a shrine to the Lady Empyreals? I am sorry if never got a chance to answers. Loud head, but."
  85.
  86. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "There is a shrine for Her, here, in the library?"
  87.
  88. <-- walky upstairs
  89. The Cosmic Sanctuary.
  90. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. Elegant white coral arcs up in great, curving spires, all pointing towards the fore of this small sanctuary, high atop the Lodestar Athenaeum. While the structure above has opened up to reveal the heavens, the Star of Celest high above so that its radiance might rain down into the location during the darker hours of the day. To the west the balcony parts slightly to reveal the tumbling waters of the nearby falls, rushing past in a celebration of life and the fluidity of the azure element. Rich pearls lie entwined in networks of coral, their surfaces radiating effulgent starlight reflected from the stars above, while the coral themselves hold aloft small basins formed from large seashell halves, shimmering, pure water held within. An elegant statue of Saint Tresalyne, the Starlit Saint towers at the fore of the sanctuary, eyes upon the heavens with his hands cupped before him. Her expression calm and measured, the impassive statue of a priestess holding a fallen warrior purges nearby shadows with her zealous light.
  91. You see a single exit leading south.
  92.
  93. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "At the tippy top!"
  94.
  95. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Calfuray.
  96.
  97. Comprehension flashes across Calfuray's face.
  98.
  99. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say to Calfuray, "You can pray to Her from here! It is the one I always go to, to reach Her, if do not want to bother Her fulcrux."
  100.
  101. You nod your head emphatically.
  102.
  103. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "I took to offering at Her main shrine."
  104.
  105. You have emoted: Gurashi pauses, then drifts south.
  106.
  107. You sense the passage of Calfuray to the south with a fluffy pair of ursine ears.
  108. Calfuray follows you south.
  109. At the pinnacle of the Athenaeum.
  110. Purging nearby shadows in a halo of white, a brilliant light radiates from a war shrine of Lantra nearby. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. At the pinnacle of the Athenaeum, the shell opens to the sky, allowing a full view of the heavens. Long since worn smooth by the elements, a few graceful spurs of pearlescent material rise on either side, curling inwards as if protecting the interior. Graceful carvings on the gleaming material depict dancing devas amidst celestial diagrams. Constellations unfold, traced in polished inlay of gold and silver; beneath, the floor is covered with star-cut sea glass and whorled through with colours of lavender, saffron, sky blue and a viridian not unlike that the peak of sunset. Gently dancing upon the warm sea breeze, a dazzling banner bearing the five pointed Star of Celest sparkles here with a soft white glow. A circular brass astrolabe stands here atop a pedestal, inscribed with a ring of degree markings.
  111. You see exits leading north and west.
  112.
  113. You have emoted: Gurashi points out over the city, smiling as the lights twinkle far below. "This is the best view ever," They whisper, ears bouncing. "See how the city twinkles like the sky? Except on the ground."
  114.
  115. A star streaks across the sky, over the shell, below the clouds.
  116.
  117. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Ah!"
  118.
  119. Calfuray gives a pained sigh.
  120.
  121. You have emoted: Gurashi points to the star as it streaks overhead. "Oh! I wonder if that is Miss Vaevaya...!" They wonder aloud. "Quick! Make a wish!"
  122.
  123. You have emoted: Gurashi scrunches their face suddenly, squeezing shut their eyes.
  124.
  125. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons thinks to herself: I wish She would heal as best She could.
  126.
  127. The star falls, descending rapidly in a trail of cosmic dust, ultimately settling just before Gurashi, gently illuminating the elfen's features.
  128.
  129. You think to yourself: *their mind fills with ideas and hopes and dreams - are supposed to make wishes on falling stars, right? wish, a wish - wish, to do a goodly job! wish, that Miss Calfuray finds comfort and peace within the City, perhaps - a happy--*.
  130.
  131. Calfuray blinks.
  132.
  133. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks a few times, ears bouncing as they gaze upon the star that has descended before them. Carefully they lift a hand beneath the star, wide-eyed.
  134.
  135. The scent of lightning, burnt yet crystalline, salts the air, your nostrils noting its aroma just before the initial crack of thunder echoes across the roiling skies.
  136.
  137. Cradled in a halo of iridescent light, a coruscating star flickers as it tranquilly floats above the elfen's palm.
  138. <-- everyone else realized this was an origami. I was like "AN RP STAR OH MY GOD I MUST CHERISH IT DEARLY"
  139.
  140. You have emoted: Gurashi finally and with as much delicacy as they can muster, gently pokes the star, then fully cups both hands around it as if it were something precious, bringing it close to their face. "Hello," They whisper.
  141.
  142. You have emoted: Gurashi smiles and turns towards Calfuray carefully, still cupping their hands around the light. "Isn't it pretty?" They whisper. "Aren't the stars nice?"
  143.
  144. Calfuray smiles softly, nodding. "It is..."
  145.
  146. You think to yourself: *their mind is racing, filled with swirling colors and light, heart beating rapidly*.
  147.
  148. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "But I have yet to meet them to know of their character."
  149.
  150. A coruscating star does not overtly answer - it shimmers, twinkling, shining with all its humble might within the cup of both hands.
  151.
  152. You have emoted: Gurashi cants their head, curious. "Are you here for us to wish upons?" They ask the light they hold, glancing up at Calfuray, then back down to their hands. "Or did Miss Vaevaya send you?" They wonder aloud to the star despite its inability to speak.
  153.
  154. You have emoted: Gurashi lolls their head back to look up at the sky, scrunching their face as they try to see the spot in the clouds where the star fell from.
  155.
  156. Golden shades radiate from your chest and your heart beats faster with newly-appeared determination.
  157.
  158. Twinkle, twinkle - a coruscating star shimmers and shines in answer to your question.
  159.
  160. You think to yourself: *a worried little thrum, hoping that it was not an accident*.
  161.
  162. You have emoted: Gurashi looks back at the star they carry, smiling. "Try wishing upon it, aloud," They say to Calfuray suddenly. "Wishes have powers, did you know? Use yours."
  163.
  164. Just as she opens her mouth to say something, Calfuray suddenly bites down on her lip with a frustrated grunt.
  165.
  166. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "My wish... It is private."
  167.
  168. You have emoted: Gurashi turns to Calfuray, their ears bouncing, expression nothing short of hopeful as they hold out their hands, cupping the star delicately. At this, they frown a little, canting their head to the side.
  169.
  170. You think to yourself: *a reluctant little thrum, a sad little ache - ah, what to do, to do - to bring this sweet light to us here...*.
  171.
  172. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "It is not time for it yet, but thank you..."
  173.
  174. You have emoted: Gurashi looks back down into their hands, pursing their lips. "I understand," They say finally, bringing their hands up closer to their face.
  175.
  176. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "But maybe... I wish I could learn more on how to.. Heal."
  177.
  178. A coruscating star's shine is utterly irrepressible, beckoning, inviting whilst it drifts in place. Perhaps you may want to open it to the heavens again? Perhaps you may want to protect it for as long as it may survive here? <-- MY GIRL WAS DROPPING MAD HINTS I HAD AN ORIGAMI BUT THIS BUG IS HELLA STUPID IRL TOO
  179.
  180. You have emoted: Gurashi seems like they are about to say something to the light but they stop, gaze flicking back to Calfuray as she speaks. "That is a very goodly wish, I think. Healing is good."
  181.
  182. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons whispers, "So many things need healing.."
  183.
  184. You have emoted: Gurashi is watching the star as it twirls and twinkles. "Perhaps, you would like to see the city too, for a time?" They ask the light at last. "Finish our tours..." They turn their attention to the storm as it roils and thunders on outside. "And then... can go home to Miss Vaevaya? To tell your stories to your friends too. What do you say?" They ask of the light, head tilting to the side.
  185.
  186. You have emoted: Gurashi hums, fingers uncurling more. "I have got you," They say reassuringly either way.
  187.
  188. A coruscating star twinkles, casting its thin light upon the curled fingers and all else that nears it.
  189.
  190. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Calfuray.
  191.
  192. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says to you, "I think you made a new friend."
  193.
  194. In soft, mellifluous tones, you ask Calfuray, "Let us protect that wish of yours, then, until you are ready to make it, and take our new friend to see the other parks, yes! Does that sound O-K?"
  195.
  196. Calfuray nods her head emphatically.
  197.
  198. You have emoted: Gurashi holds their hands out before them, the star cupped delicately within it, shielded from the wind. They bring their hands close to their chest, shimmying their shoulders until the hood of their cloak can be worked back up over their head. "O-K! The goal is to stay dry! Ish!" They sing, nodding ahead, beginning to walk albeit slower than before as they carry their precious cargo.
  199.

  201.
  202. A sense of longing fills the air, accentuated by the lapping of the ocean waves upon the distant walls of the city.
  203.
  204. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Ahm, oh! If you look, that way," They nod over their shoulder towards the southwest, "you can see the Archons guildhall, yes! It is not far from here."
  205.
  206. Making a face as they emerge within the rain once more, you say, "Ah! O-K, uh, the gardens! Memorial gardens - and, the other park!"
  207.
  208. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Where is your college?"
  209.
  210. You have emoted: Gurashi glances down into their hands, then shuffles out into the rain drenched streets, making sure Calfuray is in tow.
  211.
  212. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Oh!"
  213.
  214. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Ah! This way, sorry, it is just southeast of the Pool, yes yes."
  215.
  216. At the base of a staircase on Murex street.
  217. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. Fine gravel covers this side road of the Murex street in a thick layer, offering a comfortable surface to walk on and a pleasant view. A broad staircase of flawless white marble brings the road to an abrupt end further west, leading upwards to a platform high above the roofs of most buildings in New Celest. A massive archway rises at the base of the staircase, its surface richly decorated with golden ornaments that reflect even the faintest light in a soft radiance. Arrayed in full dress robes, Matthias, the College Porter stands here alertly. Bruised and bloodied, a battered merian paladin valiant stands here, still valiantly remaining upright. Glistening with a sanguine beauty, a she'nasim nereid casts a disdainful glare on her surroundings.
  218. You see exits leading up and out.
  219.
  220. Singing drifts in from outside, faintly muffled.
  221.
  222. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Be-hold!"
  223.
  224. A battered merian paladin staggers off to the up.
  225.
  226. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Calfuray.
  227.
  228. Calfuray blinks.
  229.
  230. Twin bolts of violet lightning feint and weave like duellists lunging at one another, their thrusts through the storm clouds leaving trails of scattered energy.
  231.
  232. Perking up, you say to Calfuray, "Ah! Ouwah! You probably have muchly studying to do... I did not realize when was giving the tour."
  233.
  234. Your eyes raise to the heavens as a look of hope flashes across your face.
  235.
  236. Flustered, you say to Calfuray, "I am sorry! If am taking up all of your times!"
  237.
  238. Calfuray smiles softly.
  239.
  240. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say to Calfuray, "If you are wanting to study I can make you, a, ah, list of places you might likes!"
  241.
  242. You flail about helplessly.
  243.
  244. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "I might still go there, myselfs."
  245.
  246. You nod your head emphatically.
  247.
  248. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Even though the weather is bad..."
  249.
  250. You have emoted: Gurashi glances up, then down at their hands, then up again.
  251.
  252. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "I should go rest, actually."
  253.
  254. You nod your head emphatically.
  255.
  256. You look at Calfuray hopefully.
  257.
  258. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Thank you, really."
  259.
  260. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say to Calfuray, "Ah! Thank you, for letting me show you around."
  261.
  262. You nod your head emphatically.
  263.
  264. Softer, you say, "And, ah - hopes that you enjoy your time here, yes."
  265.
  266. Calfuray smiles softly.
  267.
  268. Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "I hope so too."
  269.
  270. You nod your head emphatically.
  271.
  272. Tripping over his own feet, an absent-minded student arrives from the up.
  273.
  274. Calfuray waves goodbye.
  275.
  276. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Do let know if need things. Help or things."
  277.
  278. You wave goodbye.
  279.
  280. Calfuray grows still and her lips begin to move silently.
  281.
  282. To the star in their hands, you say, "C'mon, you! I have a park to show you!"
  283.
  284. You point off into the wild blue yonder.
  285.
  286. Calfuray is enveloped in translucent fire for a moment and is gone, her soul safe until she returns to Lusternia.
  287.
  288. <-- walky walky
  289.
  290. In the shade of palm trees.
  291. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. A fresh gale whistles in your ears. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Dragon's Grave, this shaded park rests beneath a canopy of large palm trees and is a popular destination for picnics during the daytime and romantic stargazing at night. Seashell fencing separates this grassy knoll from the rest of the city with delicate gates that swing open and shut, allowing entrance to the terraces of the west and the nearby streets to the north and the east. Within this closed-off retreat, local children can play hide-and-seek behind the giant trees with no fear of straying too far from their parents' watchful gaze, while young couples can enjoy a modicum of privacy in the more secluded sections of the park. Sea breezes drift through the area, quiet and cool, carrying the taste of salt with them.
  292. You see exits leading north, east, west, and northwest.
  293.
  294. You think to yourself: W e t.
  295.
  296. The Chapel of Two Saints.
  297. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. It is warm and quite pleasant. Beneath a shimmering dome of mosaiced dragonbone, this modest chapel has been built in honour to the two saints of Dragon's Grave: Saint Hamos the Dragonslayer, and Saint Anatolyi the Dawn's Promise. Tall stained glass windows display these holy men in shards of painted colour, with scenes of Hamos facing the looming dragon in the ruins of the Guiding Star Lighthouse amidst a corona of flame, as well as of the Dawn's Promise bearing nothing but a shattered pitcher and a broom as he defends a village from invaders. Shellworked alcoves allow for places of prayer and quiet devotion, while more public displays of worship may be witnessed at the pews laid before a magnificent altar of gleaming dragonbone. Many familiar faces from the Non-Merian Quarter enter and leave this place of faith, with its large doors open wide to invite all who wish to enter here. The area is ablaze! A statue of a silver dragon turtle with crimson wings stands here, memorialising her noble spirit. Emanating a heavenly light as it shines beneath the dome above, the ceremonial shortsword of the Dragonslayer rests upon an altar here. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground.
  298. You see exits leading south and southwest.
  299.
  300. Shafts of pale morning light pierce through the gloom from Father Sun's crown as it peeks over the world's edge, announcing a new day.
  301.
  302. You have emoted: Gurashi shakes out their head, sending droplets of water flying every which way. "Ah," They apologize to no one, then look down at their hands curiously.
  303.
  304. You are wielding:
  305. lyre237180 : a peacock psalterium lyre in your left hand.
  306. You are holding:
  307. "flag342347" a Flag of the Rising Star
  308. "flute352814" a star-etched coral flute (enchanted with avarice horn)
  309. "star26144" a coruscating star (action origami) <--- WHOOPS IT'S A WHOLE ORIGAMI AND DEFINITELY NOT AN ACTUAL STAR
  310.
  311. Like a wisp of glimmering delight, this infinitesimally small star
  312. drifts here, flashing radiance reminiscent of diamonds catching and
  313. casting prisms in the sun. Unlike them, however, the iridescent light
  314. cascading from this heavenly body radiates from within. Its touch is a
  315. mild but bracing comfort, a breath of nighttime tranquillity that can be
  316. cradled in the palm but never fully caged between closed fingers. Even
  317. in hand, its weightless form eludes possession, gently buoyed by its own
  318. charmed and wishful existence as though questing for release into the
  319. skies from whence it came.
  320. It has 75 months of usefulness left.
  321. It weighs 1 ounce(s).
  322. It bears the distinctive mark of Vaevaya, the Refulgent.
  323. It is folded from vellum into an action origami.
  324. It is closed and you can not see inside of it.
  325. It has the following aliases: star, origami, actionorigami.
  326.
  327. A coruscating star twinkles within your palms, shedding iridescent light upon the dampness of the rain that still clings to you.
  328.
  329. Seemingly talking to themselves, you say, "You should have seen the rest of the tours - the parks is not really a goodly examples this time because of all the rain. It is hard to play when everything is slippery and wet." They nod. "Is not maybe the best day for the outside parts ... I hopes this is O-K."
  330.
  331. Small rivulets of crystal clear water trace patterns in the ground, pulsing with a powerful Aquamantic energy.
  332.
  333. You gaze softens as you smile.
  334.
  335. A coruscating star shimmers, pulsating quietly and unassumingly within the cradle of your hands, gently illuminating your features here within the chapel.
  336.
  337. Spidery fingers of crimson lightning flash across the tumultuous skies, gripping the parapets of Deep Blue Cathedral like the hand of an angry god before letting go.
  338.
  339. You have emoted: Gurashi pauses, considering their surrounds before looking down at the light in their hands. A small break in the storm causes the rain to lessen to a gentle pitter patter, and the elfen looks up, studying the cloudy sky carefully. "It might be safe for you, now," They whisper, holding their hands aloft to let the star twinkle and glitter brightly, though their statement is cut short by another crash of lightning. "Ah! Oh, maybe not." They bring their hands close again, then smile, apologetic.
  340.
  341. You fret over everything that might go wrong.
  342.
  343. Adoringly, you say, "You are so very goodly, yes. Thank you so much for coming here to-day."
  344.
  345. You tilt your head curiously at a coruscating star.
  346.
  347. In spite of the crash of lightning, a coruscating star continues to twinkle, undaunted or perhaps unaware.
  348.
  349. You have emoted: Gurashi lolls their head to look up at the sky. "If I could I would see to it that you made it back home safely. I do not know how to travel to the sky yet, get too out of air when I flap my wings too long," They explain, eventually finding a seat to rest in. "Am still working on it, do not worry."
  350.
  351. Quietly, softly, the star shines within your palms where it floats, radiating its pale light as though it might try to outshine all other lights.
  352.
  353. You have emoted: Gurashi hums as they hold the star, then examine it more curiously, closely, holding it out before themselves. "You are in a goodly place for being brave," They whisper, "since you were so brave to come down through the storm to find me. This is a goodly place to be brave in..."
  354.
  355. You have emoted: Gurashi holds their arms out before themselves now, the star at arm's length, palms flat so that it may shine as brightly as it may. "Yes, you are very beautiful, and shiny. Even brighter than the lightnings," They praise the twinkling light.
  356.
  357. A coruscating star's thin light limns your kindly, tawny features. It drifts, bobbing languidly as though caught on the surface of the sea, though its sea happens to be your palms. It sparkles with eagerness, bursting to sing in spite of its otherwise mute existence.
  358.
  359. You have emoted: Gurashi holds their hands a little higher, watching the light cast off by the star light up their soggy surrounds, reflecting off glass and pew and stone. "Oh? You have something to say?" They giggle, leaning forward in their seat, making sure to keep their hands beneath the eager star. "I would be most honored to hear it, yes, brave little one!"
  360.
  361. A coruscating star unfolds and sings to you, "Thank you for playing with me, Gurashi! Your wishes gave my doll from Avaris the extra sparkle it needed to fully manifest, and I cannot ~wait~ to show you it! Because you have so honoured me, I would make a twofold wish upon you - I wish for you to never lose sight of your own light, even when your world is at its darkest. Look to all the stars already around you, and let them bolster your shine whenever you feel your own dimming."
  362. A coruscating star flutters apart in wisps of vellum and disappears from your hands.
  363.
  364. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Oh...!"
  365.
  366. You have emoted: Gurashi's eyes glaze over with tears, and they smile, hands not lowering even an inch. "Oh, you WERE from...!" They swallow, giggle. "Miss Vaevaya is so wonderful."
  367.
  368. As the enchanted wishes ring in the air and the star is released, it scatters into sparkling glitter, their twinkling lights drifting toward the ceiling and out the chapel, drifting every which way to find the storming skies again.
  369.
  370. You hands fly to your mouth as you give a short gasp of elation.
  371.
  372. In soft, mellifluous tones, you say, "Ah! Ouwah!"
  373.
  374. You have emoted: Gurashi rises from their seat and twirls, then gestures towards the outside of the chapel's dome, waving their arms. "Thank you!" They cry. "Thank you, and be well!" They wave, "Be safe! And stay shiny, always!"
  375.
  376. You have emoted: Gurashi's laughter eventually dies down as they continue to wave after the lights, even after the Chapel is returned into darkness. They stand there just under the protection of the dome, listening to the rain and thunder, hands squeezed together at their heart.
  377.
  378. The pouring rainclouds above you turn a deep grey, and the droplets grow larger and fall more forcefully.
