Game 2 and the Way It Begins

  1. So. As stated before, Game 2 is a what-if scenario, that's based on the idea that you all just aboslutely blow it in this game and fail to save the world.

  3. Game 2 is set in Ivalice. Ivalice is the shattered remnants of Palamecia, with the landmass being essentially a new map. Ivalice has an incredibly low density of magic items, and high quality items. This brings me to the premise for this game. I'm currently debating between one of two things.

  5. The first is you all being "heroes" or already skilled individuals who are summoned through a grand ritual and being sent from there to do go attempt to effectively un-fuck the world. You would all start at level 5, and work out your "legends" that would have resulted in you being summoned.

  7. The second is a bit more slow burn. You'd all essentially start as children, and session one would have three scenes for each player, childhood, adolescence, adulthood (tentative). You would all start at level 1, but to compensate, you'd all know each other and have reasons to band together.

  9. Now. As for classes and stuff. As you all know, I'm super into homebrew. So I figured I'd give you an opportunity to essentially have me make a class for you. Fighter, Cleric, Sorcerer, the default classes are cool for what they are. But personally, I don't think they offer enough versatility to fully complement a character. So more or less, if you find a homebrew class that's what you're looking for great, let me take a peek so I can make sure that it's something I can design around. Otherwise, I'd be happy to work with you, and make something that suits your character to a T.

  11. Rules and Regs are something you know I play fast and loose with. I'm gonna be making a lot of adjustments and stuff as needed so that skills are a bit more....interesting.

  13. The last thing I'm going to bring up in this is protagonistdom. You guys are no matter what, protags. And a lot of gear and stuff doesn't feel unique. So. I'm giving you all a protag thing. It can be a unique feat, ability or spell. It could be an item, or a weapon, or a piece of armor. The important thing is that it's something that is unique to you.

  15. And that about covers it. Game 2 has yet to recieve a solid name. so I'll be calling it "But The Light Refused to Die". Edgy, I know, but c'mon. Do you expect anything less from me?
