Sparkle Rules

Welcome to Mary’s game of Sparkle! This game is a game I’ve played in school since I was in first grade. It is a spelling game—though on the hotel it’s more of a focus game.

Overview: The host will say, “The word is: (word).” And then say a player name. That player must say the first letter of the word and then repeat it placing a ~ (tilde)* in front of it. It will teleport you to the middle. The person to the right of that player will say the next letter and will continue until the last letter is said. Once the last letter is said, the next person will say “Sparkle” and then the next player is out.

Ways to get out:
1.	A player gets you out by saying “Sparkle”.
2.	You hesitate or do not answer when it is your turn.
3.	Saying the wrong letter.
4.	Being rude to other players. (ie. Calling them stupid for not getting a letter right.)
