Holy 9

[18:25] {NARRATION} The ground rumbles and ripplies are sent out. The green eyed demon's energies lash out and shake the entire cavern!
[18:30] The floor began to rumble. The ground was shaking, and Gin looked around. He wanted to make sure they weren't going to have a cave-in mid battle. That would be the absolute worst. Nonetheless, the combined force of lightning and holy magic from the trio smashed into the green-eyed beast. Each combination of force, the kiting, the team work. The truth. It was all done together, in an attempt to take down and defeat this monster that stood before them right now.

"Hrngh." Gin grumbled, watching the beast retake its stance. He prepared to engage it in battle once more.

[18:30] Sophie eases the burden of combat with continuous mending, ensuring that her comrades could push through the initial wave of the demon's attacks.

It was a test at first, taking the first steps slowly as Sophie aims to gain a grasp of the true strength of this demon, before she began pressing out her all.

The cave rumbles, as the demon surges with incredible power. Sophie shifts into a form that reflected stone, maintain her balance through it all, evading and guarding against ripples, using her holy wards to enhance her protections to extraordinary heights.
"This one has a lot of power." Sophie regards. Incomparable to a Witch, who utilized a greater, more coordinated arsenal.

"Do not let yourselves get caught into one of its attacks. Focus on your survival first and foremost, before you strike."

Sophie's calm maintains itself, as deadly, green eyes face back to the demon's own. She resolved herself, to never fear a demon, for to fear one would generate its very essence. She resonates with Silver Durendal, a creation to eliminate these things.

[18:31] The shaking only gets worst as the battle progresses, They rocked the cavern to its core and being so low below ground there was a real risk of a cave in happening, But at the same time...Yvel could not afford to allow such evil to be freed amongst the masses.

Yvel poured his heart and soul into it, He felt his spirit growing with each attack he deflected and each attack he took against the emissary of darkness.

Holy light conjured into his staff, He held it there, Empowering it growing it stronger, brighter, more focused and condensed. The power of Exorcism was not only its power to protect others, but what made it such a valued school of magic was for a special trait that only so few knew.

A power Yvel called Judgement! Through holy magics natural affinity one could desire who and whom are seen as friend or foe, And with such power one could judge the way their magic interacted with a person or object.

Yvel however had decided to expand upon that idea, Judgement's true power reigned deeper than that, Further...the lifestream despite knowing so little he could understand it was a force for good.

In the eyes of the lifestream how would it choose to judge those who use dark magics? And even demons who spread chaos into the world? Yvel would find out here and now! "Break free...Judgement!"

Yvel would raise his staff and light would spread all around him focusing it towards and as his magic narrows it shoots directly towards the Demon in hopes of punishing them severely for their actions, Although it seemed the fight had not been won just yet.

[18:34] Green-Eye exclaims, "GROOOAAAGHHH!!!"
[18:34] Yvel Endore exclaims, "Here he comes!"
[18:34] {NARRATION} The caverns continue to shak, buckling under the power of the demon and the magi.
[18:34] Sophie cos Duran says, "The cavern can't take the stress."
[18:35] Sophie cos Duran says, "Relax your attacks a bit."
[18:38] Green-Eye exclaims, "GROOOAAAAGGHH!!!"
[18:40] {NARRATION} The Demon is mortally wounded. It staggers backward and falls to its knees.
[18:41] Green-Eye exclaims, "Graaaahhhg!! OOORRHHHGAAA!"
[18:42] {NARRATION} The caverns are still shaking, subtly. Pebbles drop from the ceiling, and the savage sounds of rabid demons begin to draw closer.
[18:50] The battle was grueling, None the less the Demon would leap towards them Smashing the ground sending waves of occultic magic spewing into the caver walls the crumbling of the falling rocks began to get even more serious than prior.

Despite Yvel's attempts to cast his judgement spell it seemed it merely did a flesh wound on its first contact. It would take sometime before he could use it again. Conjuring an abundance of positive energy took a while after all, Yvel's staff would be glowing as it prepared to fire the next round.

The spell was still in practice and could only do minor damage but when it erupted forwards it had all the intensity of a cannon of holy power. Darkness clashes against Light. Yvel and his allies find the creature growing more and more powerful by the second!

"This is the final push! I just need ab it longer to charge my spell for the finishing blow! I'm counting on you! Sophie Gin!"

Yvel would have to trusthis allies, And that very feeling is what gave his holy magic its spark, Trust, Faith, Pride, Love, Hope, Happiness, and the strongest will to protect all the people of Osrona.

That was what propelled Yvel forward, To accomplish his goals and to become an Exorcists all would be willing to call an ally and a friend of the people. He gathered all such emotions into his staff hoping Sophia and Gin could hold off the demons attention for just a while.

And as the Demon draws closer towards them Yvel then hops on one of his clouds and flies within the high ceilings of the caverns. Light flushed through the area and with a powerful radiance it spewed towards the demon like an arrow piercing straight throw its purple heart.

Blood, guts, and gore were not to be found!...Instead it was a gentle magic that annulled all evil and turned what remained of the demon to stone. Petrifying them as its dying groans were released from its lips, As the demon spoke its final words if any, Their body would erode and then turn to dust.

Yvel would fall from the high roof like an angel, His clouds were his protection and hopefully his friends as well. As he descended all his magic was drained...filtered into that final attack. As the sounds of the other demons came he'd use his staff as a crutch to try and walk.."We ..have to get out of here, Its not safe any longer." He'd claim.

[18:51] Gin was hit, multiple times, during the battle. Small cuts engraved his body, allowing small droplets of blood to escape his body. However, he maintained his composure. Taking in a deep breath, then exhaling, he looked at the downed and mortally wounded demon. It was a battle, an uphill one to say the least, but they did it. They managed to take down the beast. Gin jumped back, as Yvel managed to land the final strike. Wiping beads of sweat from his forehead, Gin took a few steps back and looked around the crumbling cave.

". . . I agree." Where his only words towards Yvel, moving to fall after the duo, trying their hardest to get away from the crumbling cave. Time was of the essence!

[18:55] Sophie whirls and dances through Green-Eye's onslaughter, her sword weaving through attacks to land devastating, burning blows against the demon. The blade did not cut, but instead left streaks of searing energies along the flesh of the demon, far more devastating then any cut.

After clashing, defending, and being smashed into by wave after wave of attacks, their steady efforts to wittle down the greater demon comes to a success, when Yvel manages a mortal blow to it! He calls out to them to pin the beast, and Sophie complies without question in this moment.

"You tread upon holy grounds, demon. Let this place become your conclusion."

The Gentle Blade is channeled through the ground, capturing Green-Eye in her holy power. In the ensuing moments, Yvel lands the most vital blow of the battle.

The cave trembles as their clash reaches it conclusion, the cries of demons alerting her that they were far from the clear yet, and like others, that battle had taken quite a bit out of her.

Mending is channeled to her comrades, aiding in them pushing on as they'd hurry away. Though in movement, Sophie uses this time to recuperate as much as she could for additional threats they might face.

[19:01] {NARRATION} The mortal cries of the beast only draw more and more Yokai. They come from the northh, the south, the west... It's a flood of demons!
[19:03] {NARRATION} The Yokai have arrived!!!
[19:04] {NARRATION} Their numbers are overwhelming!
[19:09] {NARRATION} The party is pushed-- forced to retreat away from the hordes of demons until they make their way toward a narrow pass!

Roll!


[19:11] {NARRATION} Sophie roll again!
[19:12] {NARRATION} The party manages to make their way into the narrow passage, and the tidal wave of demons come rushing in behind them. The amount of force as well as the destabilizing caves contribute to a cave in, and the path is shut off!

Sophie managed to hold on tightly to Yvel who is knocked unconscious by a falling rock. Gin and Sophie manage to narrowly escape but take some damage in the process!
[19:21] The group was pressed to move. Too little stamina was had after their encounter with Green-Eyes. Sophie held the rear, until they were into relative safety, gripping onto Yvel through all the tension until they escape through falling rocks and dust.

"So...many of them!"
Move, Move, Move

Sophie hadn't even realized she was dragging an unconscious Yvel along until they reached a point of seeming security, their rear completely shut off by a massive collapse of stone.

"That was too close... you okay Gin?"

It gives them a moment to breath, however brief, and now that Sophie had an unconscious Yvel in her hands, first things first is to ensure his condition and see if she can awaken him, pressing more and more holy energies out to heal injuries and sooth. With so much fighting, Sophie truly begins to reserve her energy, only working at injuries that might slow any of them down, and resting as much as she could throughout without spending too much time here. Sophie would haul Yvel over a shoulder if he had to.

If he didn't awaken- this quest might as well be a failure though. But she holds on. They'd have to keep moving anyways, through the unknown.
