BACKGROUND:; Meimei was born in Shandong, Republic of China. She has 2 siblings, her twin brother and older sister. She was born in a rich family. When Chengcheng and her were young they learned piano together.  They went on competitions together and won 6 trophies. They always go everywhere together. The twins were inseparable until her brother became a trainee and left home. This lead Meimei to become depressed since her twin was away and she started getting bullied in school. Her sister was very worried so she always took Meimei with her when she’s in a photoshoot or drama shooting. Meimei got to model with her sister 3 times. She also shot a drama with her sister. After a few months her twin brother went home and apologized for not contacting her, she forgave him. Ever since then they always find time for each other. She also has a youtube channel where she posts her dance covers or choreographies. She also became a part of a professional dance group called ‘KLASS’. After thinking for a while she asked her family if she can study in Korea and after a few discussions they agreed to let her study there. A few months later she got casted by FNC.
