  1. Before I begin, I compare many stuff with the previous KnS. So maybe you want to check out my impression on the previous KnS as comparison. Link for the previous KnS impression: https://pastebin.com/VNZtGh2D

  3. KnS2 has a huge improvement in every aspect from the previous KnS. One of the most notable improvement was the flow of the story. In Kns1 the story is rushed, presented with bad execution, notably on its climax; the sudden revelation of another cases that has poor basis; and the poor development with the actual interesting premise that it has. In Kns2, the writer actually take his time to write all of the premise into something that is actually great. The story is focused, constant, well-developed, and well-connected with all of the premise it has or even from the previous KnS, without resulting in poor executed plot.

  5. If we talk about KnS, what come to mind first was arguably its absolutely amazing atmosphere. In KnS2 the atmosphere was improved so much from the already amazing KnS1 atmosphere. All of the aspect in KnS2 contributed to make such a beautiful atmosphere. In fact, I was totally in love with that. It totally come neat in my mind. I feel like my I was really there. Everyday when i'm not reading it, the feeling of I was in KnS world was not gone. It add a lot of experiences and enjoyment from reading it. So much enjoyment that it's hard for me to click for the next line in last chapter despite having an urge to know what happened in the ending. Maybe it's because the village and countryside settings is my most favorite settings as well.

  7. The writing didn't changed too much from KnS1, however there's an improvement in the pacing and word choice to resemble more of its atmosphere and setting.
  8.
  9. The characters in KnS2 is arguably the biggest improvement. Man, instead of killing every character that has poor development to make the story seems depressed, KnS2 focused more on its characters rather than on its gore and crime stuff. Development of these characters was also great. The development make those characters from "probably another char that isn't important and going to die soon" grow to the characters that i really loved. They were all memorable here. In fact the story and development of certain characters is more fascinating than the story and development of Reiji itself, that make the supposed main cases of KnS series feels like a mere addition for a moment. And yes, I was talking about Masaki and Satsuki.

  11. The arts is improved a lot from KnS1. This is probably the best Sugina Miki's art. All of those charaters are beautifully designed in KnS2. I love everything about Sugina Miki's art. The background, especially the village, I loved it so much. It make the atmosphere even more amazing.
  12.
  13. The Music is great as always. It was one of the factor that make the atmosphere so neat in mind. It totally fit with the village and countryside settings. It also know when to play a certain music to match its atmosphere.
  14.
  15. Overall, it was absolutely unforgettable experiences for me. Defnitely an amazing games. I totally enjoyed it so much.
  16. I can't wait for KnS3 now.
