She dislikes it when things seem unbalanced or filthy in her eyes, if so, she fixes or cleans it right away.

Born in Daegu, South Korea, Chaerin didn't have a hard time learning the country's culture and its language. At age 5, however, Chaerin and her family moved to Shēnzhèn, China due to some family issues, then being recognized as Koreans living in China. Chaerin was clueless about the reason and never really knew why. Her parents didn't speak about it and they never told Chaerin. After elementary, when she was 12, she and her family moved back to South Korea, this time, in Seoul.

Chaerin studied pre-school in Korea, but studied elementary in China. Chaerin had a hard time adjusting to China's culture and also had a hard time learning the language. In China, she was bullied in discriminated, but was soon stopped when her parents informed the principal about it and when the staff started to keep an eye on her.

Inspired by Beyoncé, Stephen Curry and her parents, Chaerin aspired to become a dancer or an athlete. She wanted to become successful like the three mentioned and so, she works hard to achieve her goals in life. Chaerin saw her passion for dancing when her parents enrolled her to a dance workshop since she didn't have anything to do during the summer of that year.
