- "Filly's RV" & "Holden's RV" were both Wi-Fi only events in JP for limited time only. Much like the 7-11 items back when the game first launched in Japan.
- All items in the list above were DLC in some sort, hence why they are impossible to obtain. There are some DLC however that is obtainable in Welcome amiibo in some character's RVs.
- Items that are possible, but are excluded in this ruleset:
- Bottled Ship - Club Tortimer
- Box of Chocolates - Club Tortimer
- Ukulele - Club Tortimer
- Whirlpool Bath - Club Tortimer
- Hibiscus Hairpin - Club Tortimer
- Muumuu - Club Tortimer
- These items are from Club Tortimer islands only. I banned Club Tortimer for this rulset.
- 2 reasons: 1: noticed it has been annoying lately
- Actual 1st reason: The club tortimer islands are reset once per day, in real time. yes, IRL time. you can go to a handful of islands per day, but in theory you COULD go the entire speedrun without obtaining all the club tortimer items so I didn't think it would be fair so I just banned it, and it's only 6 items you're losing so it's fine.
- 2: I just don't see the point of pirating if the price isn't that hight tbh, like I have like over 50-
- Actual 2nd reason: There's a chance you could encounter hackers at the islands you go to. Some of them can do some serious harm to your town if you're not careful. They can also replace items with custom items which can lead to some bad stuff if you buy them. So overall for the safety of the speedrun, this is another reason I decided to ban club tortimer all together.

- Guide
- ----------------------
- Things you need:
- - All 4 versions of New Leaf, NA, EU, JP, KOR. I don't care how you obtain these (physical or digital), as long as the game runs it doesn't matter.
- - n2 elite. It is very very likely you don't own every amiibo card needed for this run. This allows you to scan any amiibo in the game. I won't tell you where to find the files for the amiibo data, just find them. 4Head
- - An internet connection for the dream suite.
- - At least 2 3DS's so you can get the travel, visiting, and streetpass badges. And to be able to transfer regional items over.
- - A copy of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.
- Optional things to make the run "better":
- - More 3DS's so you can check more games at once for new clothing and whatnot, and to be able to get the JP items a bit faster. Also to get more streetpasses and more visitors to your town at once.
- - Multiple webcams/cameras if you have lots of 3DS's. Video proof is requried for every active game you're playing on in that time.
- - If you have multiple New3DS's, you can set up NTR on all of them to stream the gameplay to your computer.
- - An external hardrive/more space to be able to record lots of footage. Optional if you want to record the ENTIRE run from start to finish.
