[13:51] <FifteenthMember> I'd rather let it be a case-by-case issue where we hold elections if we feel new staff is necessary

[13:52] <FifteenthMember> For example, when KH3 releases and we get loads of traffic, maybe an election then

[13:52] <FifteenthMember> So i don't think any particular rules should be made on when elections are held

[13:57] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> If you guys want to remove the number things, I can do that. I just thought it'd be a good idea to have certain conditions, incase basically the whole staff leaves or something in a short period of time.

[13:57] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> To leave it subject to the level of traffic we receive on the wiki.
[13:57] <+Neumannz> it would okay to have some kind minimum number of active staff
[13:58] <FifteenthMember> Well, if the whole staff leaves in a short period of time, we'd make the decision to hold an election because it'd be necessary xD
[13:58] <FifteenthMember> But during the year, barely anything happens so two or three would suffice
[13:58] <FifteenthMember> Then at holiday/game release times, activity spikes up
[13:58] <+Neumannz> something like that

[14:02] <FifteenthMember> I think it'd be fine to just say "Elections are held when the community decides that new staff are necessary"
[14:02] <+Neumannz> so, not a percentage, just some kind of threshold of "we should have at least three or so active staff members"

[14:10] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> The idea is that there should be a way for people to report the staff if they're doing something wrong. Basically remove this whole "elitism" concept that people have of the staff by providing a means to safely and easily report staff that abuse their powers.
[14:10] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> While also protecting the staff from false claims by making it public.
[14:10] <+Neumannz> can we bring back the Heartless Manufactory?
[14:11] <+Neumannz> (i don't actually know if that should be integrated into that...)
[14:11] <FifteenthMember> The Heartless Manufactory never went away did it?
[14:11] <FifteenthMember> We just never had any reason to use it
[14:12] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> Actually, that's where the complaints are "filed"
[14:12] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> "Complaints against specific staff for violating the Staff policy should be filed in the [[Forum:Heartless Manufactory|Heartless Manufactory]] forums. The forum created should be the titled in the manner of <<Accusing User>> v. <<Staff Member>>."
[14:12] <FifteenthMember> Yeah, they can be discussed there too, no?
[14:14] <+Neumannz> i don't see why not
[14:14] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> Yeah. In that forum, the accuser makes the forum and his/her claim. Then the accused, if the claim is reasonabley (not just a complaint becasue the accuser hates the staff member) provides his point of view, and then the community decides if the staff member has violated his/her powers.

[14:15] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> "These complaint forums should only be created if a staff member is abusing staff powers for censorship, to win edit wars or arguments, or is attacking anyone directly. They should not be used if a user has a dispute or differing viewpoint over a subject. Reverted edits are not grounds for filing a complaint against the staff unless there is clear abuse of staff tools/rights in the process. Abuse of this system will result in a warning and punishment as appropriate."

[14:27] <FifteenthMember> because I ghost their IRC and sometimes I see snippets of conversation and they remember the KHWiki drama from four years ago

[14:29] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> I was gonna say we should do something since they turned 10 last month, but by the time the next issue will come, it'll be four months since their 10th Anniversary. Don't know if that's ok.

[14:32] <+KeybladeSpyMaste> It did seem to be a little wierd when someone brought up the idea of them leaving Wikia a couple months ago over the new Wikia skin.
