Petrifying Bullet

Snow White had the black handgun underneath that cloak, pointed straight at her opponent, finger on the snake-style trigger. She pulled it, and at the same time the sound of the gun rang through the air. The Samurai Girl reflexively held up her left hand before her face. All five bullets were blocked by either her palm or her breastplate.

Despite being fired upon by an invisible enemy, she was still able to react quickly to the sound and defend herself. Attacking that kind of enemy meant that even sneak attacks like this would find it hard to actually kill… And that’s exactly why Snow White chose to pull the trigger.

Smoothly, as if flowing, Snow White discarded the gun and grabbed her own weapon.

The Samurai Magical Girl stomped on the concrete and smashed it to pieces. She attempted to fling the concrete at Snow White…

...But her right hand couldn’t move, as her armor had been petrified. The armor cracked and broke, as it was made of stone. First her arm gauntlets, then her breastplate. Suddenly, her center of balance shifted. However, she hadn’t let go of her naginata. Instead, she held her breath and swung.
