  26. I use both Easy Blog Networks and BulkByHosting. Haven't had any issues with none of them so far. All offer SSL certifications for free and a good affordable service overall.
  27. 4 votes go for Easy Blog Networks
  28.
  29. Seems ok but still need more votes :)
  30. Looks like you are missing Priority Prospect from that poll :)
  31.
  32. Google Ads is making it easier to analyze performance across multiple accounts using Report Editor.
  33.
  34. Previously, it wasn’t possible to visualize and manipulate data across accounts within a web browser. The only way to do it was to download reports and use software on a computer.
  35.
  36.
  37. We can use XPaths to help extract bits of information such as H1 page titles, product descriptions on ecommerce sites, or really anything that’s available on a page.
  38.
  39. While this may sound complex to many people, in practice, it’s actually quite easy!
  40.
  41.
  42. This is typically the first step in any blog audit.
  43.
  44. Keywords
  45.
  46. This step is a bit more Excel-focused and advanced. How this works, is you set up an XPath extraction to pull the body copy out of each blog.
  47.
  48. Fair warning, this may drastically increase your crawl time.
  49.
  50. Whenever you export this crawl into Excel, you will get all of the body text in one cell. I highly recommend that you disable text wrapping, or your spreadsheet will look terrifying.
  51.
  52. Next, in the column to the right of your extracted body copy, enter the following formula:
  53.
  54. =ISNUMBER(SEARCH("keyword",A1))
  55. In this formula, A1 equals the cell of the body copy.
  56.
  57. To scale your efforts, you can have your “keyword” equal the cell that contains your category or tag. However, you may consider adding multiple columns of keywords to get a more accurate and robust picture of your blogging performance.
  58.
  59. This formula will present a TRUE/FALSE Boolean value. You can use this to quickly identify keyword opportunities and cannibalization in your blogs.
  60.
  61. Author
  62.
  63. We’ve already covered this example, but it’s worth noting that this is still an important element to pull from your articles.
  64.
  65. When you blend your blog export data with performance data from Google Analytics and Search Console, you can start to determine which authors generate the best performance.
  66.
  67. To do this, sort your blogs by author and start tracking average data sets including:
  68.
  69. Impressions – Search Console
  70. Clicks – Search Console
  71. Sessions – Analytics
  72. Bounce Rate – Analytics
  73. Conversions – Analytics
  74. Assisted Conversions – Analytics

  78. How Search Engines Crawl & Index: Everything You Need to Know
  79. What's a Link Worth to You?
  80. "Quality links are really hard to get. What if you have good links in your disavow file? Worse, what if there are harmful sites linking to you that haven?t been disavowed? Jim Boykin will personally analyze your backlinks and existing disavow file and recommend sites you may want to add or remove to maximize your link equity.
  81. Editor’s Note: This post is from Search Engine Journal’s new ebook How Search Engines Work. This guide will teach you how search engines function and the key factors that influence search engine results pages. Want your copy now? Download it here or scroll to the bottom of this post for more details.
  82.
  83. Optimizing websites without first understanding how search engines function is akin to publishing your great novel without first learning how to write.
  84.
  85. Certainly, a thousand monkeys at typewriters will eventually create something useful (at least this monkey likes to think he does from time to time), but it’s a lot easier if you know the core elements of a task beforehand.
  86.
  87. So we must understand how search engines work to fully understand how to optimize for them.
  88.
  89. While we will be focusing on organic search, we must first briefly talk about one critical truth about search engines.
