Description: Prejean, who had recently been released from a youth facility after killing a cab driver when he was 14, was riding with some friends after drinking all night, when Donald pulled them over for not having working taillights. Prejean, who was driving, tried to switch seats with his brother, since he didn’t have a license. Donald noticed this and ordered everyone but Prejean out of the car. He ordered Prejean’s friends back into the car, while he searched Prejean’s brother. Upset at his brother being searched, Prejean retrieved a .38 caliber revolver from under the car seat and approached Donald with the gun hidden against his leg. He then shot him twice.
