  1. In the Land of Styx the robed figure of Danagan is approaching a black wall. In this wall is a great entrance which Danagan freely walks through. The sight inside is an odd one, a street full of stands like some Middle Eastern bazaar. The people if they can even be called as such running these stands were beings of pure energy in the shape of thin human beings with overly oval heads and two oval spots of glowing energy for eyes the same color as their bodies. Which varied in colors, some of them were green, blue, red, or even a few black. Their bodies looked like flowing water filled with variously colored particles floating in it, with the “fluid” being the main body color.
  2.
  3. Danagan thought, “This town is inhabited by Sollose. The stench of their solid thoughts food fills the very air. The sooner I get this over with the better.”
  4.
  5. Danagan walked over to a blue Sollose behind a table with blue squishy fluid sack looking objects on it.
  6.
  7. He spoke to this Sollose, “Tell me have you seen a pink or red female of my species in this village?”
  8.
  9. With that Danagan removed his facial coverings to reveal his true appearance to the Sollose merchant.
  10.
  11. The blue Sollose looked at him with its nose less, mouth less, and basically expressionless face and said in a strange vibrating monotone voice, “You are Doh-Rong, Female Red Doh-Rong…frequent…at the Blood Bar she is.”
  12.
  13. Danagan puts back on his facial robes and heads down the street looking at the signs noticing they are in many different human languages. He knows this is a game the Sollose play giving names to buildings in different languages and using those languages written forms for the names so all he needed to find was one in German and English. At the end of the street was a large two story building with blue wood paneling and reddish purple wood shutters. Above the old fashioned wooden reddish purple doors were neon red signs saying, “Blood Bar”
  14.
  15. With in the bar before Danagan is a most unusual sight, the bar its self is set up like a darkened version of an old western saloon with gargoyle decorations upon black chandeliers shining blue light upon the scene below. Through out the bar many different creatures could be seen, the majority were strange human like blue skinned pointy elf eared creatures that Danagan didn’t recognize. These creatures all had blue or green eyes and human like teeth save for the eye teeth which were clearly vampire like fangs.
  16.
  17. Danagan thinks, “a bar for blood, guess they’re some kind of blood drinkers.”
  18.
  19. These creatures were wearing purple and violet colored robes and dresses for their appropriate genders, embroidered with strange archaic symbols, the overly all effect looking like ancient Chinese nobility. The rest of the room was filled with lizard like creatures and a few eight foot tall human like creatures covered in dense brown fur on their arms and legs for both the men and women.
  20.
  21. In the back at the bar its self (which was managed by a blue Sollose) Danagan found who he was looking for, Ananth, as before she was completely naked. She was sipping at a wine glass with what Danagan assumed was blood. The blood in this place didn’t smell right somehow.
  22.
  23. As Danagan walked up to her Ananth spotted him and yelled out for him to come over while waving, “Still wearing those human rags Danagan? And you wander why every one in here is staring at you?”
  24.
  25. Danagan hadn’t noticed but while none of the blue skinned creatures had turned their heads their eyes were watching him none the less. He takes off his facial robes revealing his true face, which seems to cause the other bar patrons to turn back to their own business.
  26.
  27. Danagan says, “Enough of this small talk. I have come for business reasons only.”
  28.
  29. Ananth sips at her glass and says, “What small talk? Small talk would be us talking about how the Sollose artificially produce this blood drink.”
  30.
  31. Danagan thinks, “So that’s why it smells off.”
  32.
  33. He says to Ananth, “Any way my cohorts and I have decided to go along with your group’s plans for now to see if they work any better than our own.”
  34.
  35. Ananth responds, “Well you did wait till the very last moment, in a few days I wouldn’t have been here. Well down to business, my mistress has a plan that like yours is going to subjugate humanity. However hers is more likely to succeed. We Doh-Rong will have a place in this new empire but not as its leaders.”
  36.
  37. Danagan shouts out, “What!”
  38.
  39. Which draws the attention of every one in the bar before Ananth whispers, “Keep your voice down, this land is ruled by the Rai Styxah after all. We don’t need her knowing of our plans”
  40.
  41. Danagan thought, “A Rai rules this place? A dog demon rules a continent in the Other World?”
  42.
  43. He shakes that off getting back on track saying, “We the Doh-Rong are the oldest blood drinkers on Earth. We have existed since the time of the dinosaurs, and now you say we should play second fiddle to something else. We who are the very creators of the undead monsters the humans call vampires, so what exactly could rule over us?”
  44.
  45. Ananth simply says, “Litmet”
  46.
  47. Danagan scowls and says, “That is only an instrument in our plans to conquer humanity, a mere cat demon. She is nothing more than a mammal. She can’t possibly be older than us, hell she can’t even be older than cats for that matter. So she has absolutely no claim to leadership over us, no better than those dog demons.”
  48.
  49. Ananth laughs loudly echoing across the bar then quits down and whispers to Danagan, “You are no different than those humans that try to control ancient powers they have no understanding of. I can’t believe you woke her up with out knowing who she really is. Think about it her name is a dead give away. She is Litmet the mother of the Lit; the very race known as the ancestors of all vampires on Earth, except maybe us.”
  50.
  51. Danagan thinks to himself, “Lit, Litmet of course why didn’t I see that before. If she is a Lit then her name would mean “Lit Mother”. How was I supposed to know that, it’s not like I had ever seen a Lit before or even heard of them outside of legends and myths.”
  52.
  53. Ananth says to him, “You have been amongst humans too long Danagan, you have forgotten females of our species can hear thoughts when we focus on them. You have made a fool of yourself to me, Litmet the mother of all Lit is just too obvious and I don’t see why you think so little of the Rai, perhaps you don’t recognize the name. After all they do change it from time to time.”
  54.
  55. Danagan says, “Fine, it doesn’t matter. Of course that does make me feel better about my general being over powered so easily by one. But more to the point we will go along with your plans and Litmet’s only if the Doh-Rong get a high position in the new empire, especially my self.”
  56.
  57. Ananth says in a haughty tone, “That’s a guarantee of course. But we will need you to prove your worth with a little test.”
  58.
  59. “Okay,” he says, “what test?”
  60.
  61. Ananth says, “We will need you to go to Northern France…”
