many people thought she wouldn't and won't make it in the entertainment industry even though she has really good talents bc she grew up to be a shy girl and blushes easily. she doesn't even have a boyfriend when she was wayyy younger bc she was really shy.

usually people find it very easy to fool her as she is really naive, she can't tell the difference between the lies and the truths. but wonwoo finds it really cute and funny.

born in canada, areum leaded a really stressful life there as she was the only daughter and naturally her parents would want her to do well in her studies. but she couldn't, no matter how hard she studied. at the age of 10, she found out she had a interest for singing and joined an interschool singing competition without her parents' consent. however, after getting eliminated at the first stage of the competition, she decided not to pursue music anymore. she continued studying at canada but her father thinks she should get a change of environment so she can study better, they decided to go back to areum's mother's hometown, changwon korea.  she then got scouted by black ent. when she got to korea but she hesitated, this time, wonwoo persuaded her to go and she got in as a trainee.
