all teams  must follow Smogon's Doubles OU rules and clauses. Added restrictions include: No more than 2 Mega Evolutions and no more than 3 of the same item.

You can bring in 6 pokemon to the team preview

The movesets of these Pokemon cannot be changed once the tournament has started. If a change is found, the rule-breaker and their partner will be immediately disqualified.

Partners will be chosen at random until everyone is in a group of 2. If a partnership cannot make contact, a rearrangement may occur.

BATTLES:
A single-elimination tournament is organized so that two teams of 2 will face off in the final battle, similar to a CLT bracket. The only rules in these battles are those of Smogon Doubles OU.
Disconnects are treated as normal: suspicious DC's count as a loss, inconspicuous DC's are simply restarted matches.
It is very important that every battle is saved. Remember that S/M players cannot save battles against US/UM players, so be sure to make note of that when choosing who will save the battle.

VICTORY:
Both plays in the group of  that emerges victorious will receive (these prizes may be changed before official release of the tournament):
-A competitively bred (IVs, Poke Ball of choice, Nature, Egg Moves, etc.) Pokemon of their choice
-3 Gold Medals
-Both a Mega Stone and BP item of their choice
