  8. Anti-globalization protesters, secretly funded by [corpname], developed a biological weapon designed to turn infected persons into monsters that will seek to spread the disease. This bioweapon was accidentally released in a major city during routine tests.
  9. [corpname] genetically modified several of their best soldiers to boost their combat abilities. These soldiers however went rogue to protest their low pay and now operate independently.
  10. [corpname] provided covert backing to tencho-cultists who were modifying their bodies to "transcend" humanity and become "superior". Their experimennature made them insane. The techno-cultists soon refused help from "inferior" humans and started acting independently.
  11. [corpname] built a hyperintelligent AI to try and induce it into reaching the stage of "singularity". When the AI reached that stage, it went rogue and then sought to "improve" the human race by capturing civilians and genetically modifying them.
  12. [corpname] developed an experimental fusion reactor to power their factories. During testing, the reactor began leaking radiation, causing the nearby civilian population to mutate.
  13. Law enforcement tried to secretly augment their elite agents by buying augmentations from [corpname]. These augmentations proved faulty and drove the elite agents insane.
  14. [corpname] captured alien parasites for further study. However, those alien parasites soon escaped from their containment fields and tried to replicate themselves by infecting humans.
  15. [corpname] secretly gave their elite agents biochemical drugs to make them more effective at killing. However there were numerous side-effects of these drugs, including permanent psychosis.
  16. [corpname] used to capture anti-globalization protesters and subject them to genetic experimentation to learn how to create loyal, docile consumers. These protesters would later escape from captivity, and swore to use their newfound powers against "corporate misrule".
  17. [corpname] used to use genetically engineered slave labor in their factories. These slaves would later rebel against their masters and successfully escape.
