  1. Day 3.
  2.
  3. Maybe it’s technically day 4. It’s pretty late. Every day I’m a little more surprised at how stupid I was to think it would be a quick and easy process. I suppose you don’t expect disturbing junk like this when dealing with pastel ponies. I guess when you transform one creature into another it’s going to be a horrifying process to watch no matter how you do it.
  4.
  5. Breakfast this morning was oatmeal and fruit. I decided to skip on the first and chose the latter. It smelled lovely but still no silverware. Can’t really expect them to buy some on my behalf. I should make a note to get some when I get the chance to leave for a while. I did manage to make it though without laughing at the new ponies who weren’t used to their hooves and spilt as much oatmeal as they managed to eat. A few just gave up and stuck their heads in their bowls and a few, like myself, chose to stick with fruit.
  6.
  7. Oh the stomachache is back again but I think it’s since the food is from Equestria. I didn’t think about it all that much after I threw up, but now that I do think about it though its back again. Not as bad as before though. Maybe I’m getting used to it. Maybe it’s all full of magical radiation and I’m building up a tolerance.
  8.
  9. Anyways after breakfast the new ponies were herded out to the training yard. Really it’s just the center area of the camp but about a third of it is covered in kindergarten level obstacle course stuff. Walk across the foot wide beam that’s 3 inches from the ground. Jump over the 3 matchbox high hurdle. A three step high staircase. Actually I suppose that last one is quite difficult. There were also a few everyday obstacles set up to get used to working with hooves. There must have been at least a dozen doors with different handles/knobs set up for new ponies to try and open.
  10.
  11. I spent half my morning assisting the trainers/therapist/doctors, not really sure what to call them, with the ponies, Helping the ones who were having more trouble keep their balance. A couple of them seemed a little reassured to see a human there. I guess it must be comforting to know a few of your species is supportive. A few of them told me that their families weren’t particularly keen on their decision. In reality at this point I can’t say I’m 100% supportive of them either at this point. I kind of get the feeling we’re all, the ponies included, rushing this but I suppose others feel more strongly about it than I do. I guess if they’re happy and safe there’s not much reason to stop them.
  12.
  13. At around 10:00 the next group of humans showed up. Or I assume it was 10. I haven’t seen a clock since I got here. Anyway a new set of 100 humans walked in around then. I’m guessing they were bused in but the closest road is over 2 miles away. Some of the ‘heavier’ ones looked pretty beat. Spotted a few neckbeards too. GO HUMAN RACE! Way to make yourself presentable on your last day as a human. Of course now that I think about it I’m doomed to weeks of beard as soon as the battery runs out on my razor. Maybe I should splurge on a solar charger when I take a trip back.
  14.
  15. So all the new humans were guided to the mess hall. I guess it’s the biggest building in the camp. They all had one final waiver to sign, one last chance to back out, none of them took it. There were 4 unicorns in camp that were capable of doing the magic including Rarity. Each was grouped with 2 assistants, in my case I would just observe this time. I was grouped with the only male unicorn transformer, kind of looks like that one actor I can’t remember the name of, except without the facial hair. Argh now it’s going to bother me until I figure out who it is. I’ll have to ask the next humans.
  16. The rooms for transforming were sparse, just one table and some emergency equipment in the corner. The floor appeared to be padded as well, it also seemed really quiet for some reason. Later I found out the room was magically silenced. I suppose the screams might have been a little off putting to the other people waiting.
  17.
  18. Paperwork was sorted for each human, appearance they wanted, pony type, a bit on their background, that kind of stuff that the doctors might want to know. They had some control over the process but it wasn’t perfect. Usually they could get the unicorn/pegasai/earth part right, but exact color and mane style was a bit more difficult to pin down. Supposedly bad color schemes, like red and black, were harder to work with. I’m not so sure that was the whole truth but I could equally respect them for not wanting those colors running around Equestria. Winged pegasai were also out despite two people having checked both on their profile.
  19.
  20. There was a lot more on their profile that didn’t interest me. I suppose it was important to somepony but not really to me we only had about 15 minutes before the first human came in dressed in a hospital gown dress thing. I’m glad the majority chose this option over coming in naked. It was designed I guess to fall off easily during transformation while street clothes might rip or be constrictive. Of course the doctor checked with them their identity and confirmed all their decisions and then the process began.
  21. It wasn’t really my first time seeing magic at that point. Though up until then all I had seen was a few pegasai lifting things and one or two wandering out at night with their horns lit. This was completely different. I didn’t notice it the first few times but there was a flash from his eyes and then a wave heading towards the human. You couldn’t as much see it as sense it. Pulse after pulse would hit the human, I’d say it was unnerving but it was nothing to what happened next.
  22.
  23. The first part that happens is their hair falls out, all of it. Just comes off in clumps bit by bit. Most start scratching at their skin at that point but the nails come off next. After that I believe the skeleton starts rearranging and reforming. Most distressing is how their fingers quickly turn to rubber and hang limp as the bones disappear. Most scream if they haven’t before now. I vomited. Fortunately I found a bucket first. Then fingers and toes retract into the forming hoof as the body quickly takes on a pony/human shape and slows down a bit.
  24.
  25. Those who were screaming find themselves unable as their face begins reforming. Apparently there is a short period where the pony can’t breathe as their lungs and windpipe reform. Actual changes to the face are actually less major than I had imagined. I guess we both have two eyes, nose, and mouth. Just the shape changes a little. The eyes though, they look incredibly sunken until the entire transformation finishes. I try not to look at them as they dart wildly around.
  26.
  27. Once the body is mostly formed the coat, mane, and tail start growing in, slowly at first but it speeds up quite quickly. The whole process probably doesn’t take more than 2 minutes but it isn’t until after about another minute later that it fully sets in for the transformee. Some are more stable and kind of just roll about on the floor trying to stand upright with foreign limbs. For those we usually let them take some time seeing if they can right themselves and then help them to the exit door. Others need a bit more assistance and have to be wheeled out but are still stable.
  28.
  29. Others, I’d say 1 in 4, are still freaking out. Pegasai have it particularly bad with having two entirely new limbs. Two started trying to tear off their own wings. Unicorns also require a bit of caution. They can’t use magic properly yet but it’s entirely possibly they could cause themselves brain damage while flailing about. Both are sedated immediately. It’s unpleasant for them but it keeps them from doing any lasting damage to themselves.
  30.
  31. We got through about 2/3rds of the volunteers before I was transferred to another group, Rarities. She had received an interesting request. One of the males who was slated to become a colt requested to have their sex switched at the same time. I couldn’t say I was too surprised at the idea, the fact that Rarity asked my opinion on the matter was what threw me for a loop. I wasn’t in any way qualified to make a decision like this. On one hand it seemed reckless to just jump into something like that, but then again they were already turning themselves into a pony and they seemed quite sure of themselves on both points. Rarity seemed to support the idea and was only looking to me for conformation for some reason. I have to wonder if I had said no would it have made any difference.
  32.
  33. The rest of the transformations were fairly normal. Two new ponies threw up since they had eaten meat in the last 24 hours against instructions but nopony went crazy or anything. I still think the whole process is really creepy but I guess that’s how transformation works. I’m not sure if I want to sit in on any more sessions though. I could barely eat anything at dinner and I don’t know if I’m going to get any sleep tonight. Well at least it’s safe to say my own transformation has been postponed indefinitely. I don’t know if I’ll ever be comfortable having that done to my body.
