  1. Steam name / Discord name / In-game name (all 3 in this order) *
  2. A. Perez/ A. Perez/ A. Perez
  3. What is your age ? (don't respond with your in-game age) *
  4. 23
  5. Where are you from? *
  6. Orlando, Florida
  7. What department are you choosing? *
  8. LSPD (Los Santos Police Department)
  9. BCSO (Blaine County Sheriff Office)
  10. S.A.S.T (San Andreas State Trooper)
  11. Why did you choose this department? *
  12. Assuming I'm doing this in character: I am a new arrival to San Andreas, after having lived out here for several years, but spent time in Liberty city working as a guard at Alderney State Correctional Facility. I decided I needed a change of scenery and weather, and so I decided to move out here and use my experience in corrections to apply for law enforcement, which convieniently is conducting rounds of hiring. San Andreas State Troopers are known for their service across the country, and I believe my sense of professionalism and basic knowledge of security and crowd control can bring something to the department with time. The highways are too dangerous as it is and the state is a large area that needs patrolling with a wide variety of criminal activity and people to serve and essentially thats why I chose to apply for SAST.
  13. What was your previous occupation (job)? *
  14. I previously was a guard at Alderney State Correctional Facility, as stated above, and spent 5 years at the facility. Duties included prisoner transport and escort to and from trial/central/other institutions, maintaining the security and order of assigned areas of the prison, and participating in riot control duties and training.
  15. How would you handle a store/bank robbery? *
  16. The scene of a robbery is a precarious situation, to say the least, and cannot be handled by a single unit. Weapons and hostages are often involved and the existence of such cannot be ascertained without the deployment of negotiators or additonal force, if necessary, to increase the odds of a successful outcome and minimize loss of life. In any situation where an active shooter is not present or an immediate threat to life, backup and supervisors should be called, who will then make the decision to employ additonal resources. From there I am a tool of the supervisor on scene and will maintain a perimeter or other duties as assigned. If imminent loss of life is immediately expected and apparent then mandate would be to take action and suppress the threat as safely as possible, regardless of whether backup is present. This is an unlikely scenario.
  17. How would you handle a hostage situation? *
  18. A hostage situation demands that the responding officer(s) wait for additional backup and supervisors. The suspects wish to negotiate and forceful action will more than likely result in loss of life before all other options have been exhausted. The use of other options is not up to me and my only mandates are to maintain a perimeter, call for backup and supervisors, answer the hostages until supervisors arrive and attempt to stall, and to prevent immediate loss of life if hostage tackers are clearly killing all of their hostages or violently attempting to flee.
  19. How would you handle a traffic stop? *
  20. A basic traffic stop occurs when a traffic violation or other reason to question a driver becomes apparent. Use of lights and sirens when following is a universal signal to pull over to the right side of the road in a safe location, and await contact from the officer. On my part, I am to assess the situation by paying attention to the number of people in the car, running the the plate to check for outstanding warrants or bolos or vehicle flags, and making sure the pull over location is safe and in view.
  21.
  22. If no warrants or flags are detected, the traffic stop should proceed in a calm fashion with the contacting officer proceeding to a safe location to speak with the driver, making contact with the taillight to place finger prints on the suspects car if needed to verify the identity of the car potentially in the future if something were to go wrong. The driver should have rolled down the windows, in which case the officer should proceed to ask the driver if they know what they were doing to test their response and judge whether further investigation is needed, usually a "no" will be given in which case the officer explains their infractions and requests license/insurance/registration. If a supspicious response is given or suspicious actions or behavior suggest that a short investigation could be reasonably conducted, passengers IDs can be taken and basic questioning pertaining to such can be conducted. If the pull over reason was for ppor driving or reports of intoxicated driving, or the officer detects reason to believe they are under the influence or in possession of narcotics, a breathlyzer should be called or backup called to conduct a search. If no immediate arrests or action is taken, the occupants should then be told to sit tight and the officer should return to his/her car to run the information to verify ownership/warrants/flags/bolos and write tickets/summons. Proper action is taken, as described below, if warrants are detected by calling for backup or felony backup, and if not the officer returns the vehicle. Advising the driver not to repeat their actions and making sure they understand what they did, the officer delivers the tickets/fines/summons and advises them to take care of them and that its not an admission of guilt but a promise to appear before the court or admit guilt and pay (although this depends on their infraction and a arrest may have also been necessary). The driver if allowed to leave under their own power and in their vehicle is told they are free to go when the officer returns to their car.
  23.
  24. If warants or bolos are detected, backup and supervisors should be called and a stop should be conducted with support as the likelihood danger to the officer is much higher and "cover and contact" can often prevent the escalation.
  25.
  26. If the warrant or bolo is violent in nature a felony stop should be conducted in which backup is called immediate and informed of the situation, my side arm is drawn and aimed towards the suspects car, and I advise the suspects to not move and ordered to toss the keys out of the car and leave their hands there, when backup arrives they can arm themselves with their secondary rifles or shotguns (as I cannot safely go to the back of my car before they arrive as cover must be maintained). The proess of removing the driver, followed by the passengers, one at a time begins: As the keys are already out of the car and all passengers should be displaying their hands if possible, the passengers are ordered to slowly exit the vehicle (one at a time as stated before), face away with hands in the air, and slowly walk backwards towards us, until within range to kneel for another officer to cuff and detain them. This will proceed until all occupants have apparently left the vehicle and then the cabin will checked in force to determine the scene is safe. A search will proceed and identities will be verified. Arrests made and the vehicle will be towed. Whether the occupants had a warrant or not, the vehicle having a warrant requires this response for the safety of everyone involved.
  27. If a fellow Officer who is ONLY +1 rank above your rank gives you an order or assignment to do. How do you respond? *
  28. I assume that anyone above my rank, within my chain of command/department/patrol area, can and will give me orders and assignments I have to follow. A police force cannot function if everyone is a boss for themselves. The old saying "you can outrun a cop car, but you can't outrun a radio" would not work without such a structure as everyone would be doing whatever they wanted.
  29. How much percentage of the time you spend on duty as a police officer? (e.g. 70% Police/30% Other) *
  30. I can't reasonable work all hours of the day continuously, have a life outside of the police force and a house to maintain somewhere in San Andreas, and as such will likely work a fair balance between on duty and off duty activities. Obviously, a request to come on duty can be made given my allegiance to the department and sworn status.
  31. What are your strengths? *
  32. My strenghts include a knowledge of basic protocol and security, firearms profficiency, a sense of the need to command and control a situation to maintain the safety of said situation, a sense of the need for teamwork and cooperation to maintain officer safety and effective policing, and a desire to farirly and blindly adminstrate justice and preserve order.
  33. What are your weaknesses? *
  34. My weaknesses would include a lack of knowledge related to police computer usage and the need to further study police 10-codes and penal code, lack of extended law enforcement experience, and a relatively distanced and cold demeanor.
  35. Why do you want to join the Police Department? *
  36. I am sick of seeing criminals run the streets of San Andreas in the fairly small amount of time I've lived here. Car chases and poor driving in particular have been the most dangerous to myself in particular and I figured I'd join up to do something about it instead of complaining and letting my past hold me back. My sense of justice and right and wrong has always existed, but I had no direction back in LC and Alderney, and as the LCPD wasn't hiring and the corrections institute was literally soul sucking, I decided to try my hand at working with some of San Andreas State's finest.
  37. Do you have any previous experience as a police officer ? *
  38. Yes
  39. No
  40. Do you belong or have you belonged to any other Unit/Squad/Gang/Clan/Mafia/Crew/EMS/Etc ? *
  41. Yes
  42. No
  43. What is the use of /me and /do? *
  44. /me is used to communicate things that are currently happening to th roleplayer in question. /do is used to communicate actions to maintain the roleplay when in-game actions to simulate such are not possible. ANYTHING that follows those tags or is not put through /ooc MUST be roleplayed accordingly and done so seriously. Just shouting your actions or status breaks roleplay and is a form of FailRP.
  45. How long you been playing in HavocRP? *
  46. I am relatively new to FiveM, although I've been watching videos and playing LSPD for over a year, and I guess I never had much time or desire befor to join. The last few days I found your server, as well as others, and have been studying what makes a good server and community, and decided that HavocRP represented the best community to attempt to join. I RP'd as a Civilian with First Class for a bit, and enjoy them, but wanted to try my hand at Law Enforcement with a community that takes it seriously.
  47. Do you have anything else to add?
  48. My knowledge base regarding FiveM/Discord is relatively green/new, but is growing and I will do my utmost to correct any mistakes on my part and become a professional member of the community.
