  1. *Nolem deep within the pool of water continued to contend against his inner thoughts in what seemed to be a one-sided battle. He of course was on the losing side of things due to the convergence of so many emotions pressing down on his consciousness.
  2.
  3. With so much anguish, they were no doubt in Nolem's mind that he would suffer a huge mental backlash if he was unable to fight off these thoughts.
  4.
  5. Was fighting really the answer to a battle that came from within? Likely not so no matter how hard or fast his attacks were towards the mental stimulations that were his thoughts, they would not be of any use.
  6.
  7. Hours turned to days as Nolem was deep into the depths of the pool yet what would it matter? He didn't notice it as there was only blackened water where he was at.
  8.
  9. Fighting the mental stimulations became the norm through the days spent deep within the pool. He would stop to take a break time and time again to recover from his mental fatigue. By now he had adapted to their attacks. He had even got a feeling of their locations despite there only being blackness at the depths he was at.
  10.
  11. Having been in the same repetition for so long had produced a bountiful amount of theorizations for Nolem to test. His goal was still to make his reactions faster by making his movements become instinct and getting rid of thoughts that burdened him in combat. Many of these theorizations failed. In fact, more than 100 of them failed which made Nolem think of giving up yet his pride wouldn't allow him.
  12.
  13. Many more days passed with him deep within the depths of the pool. Each passing day of hard work has produced a new profoundness in the understanding of himself and his thoughts. Eventually, he could sense a mental stimulation that was unlike the others that attacked him. It stood quietly in the backend of the pool, watching the other mental stimulations attack him with manacing devouring eyes.
  14.
  15. This stimulation was also transparent yet unlike the others it had a deep red hue to it that seemed to be soothing with the aura of insanity and bloodshed. This mental stimulation interested Nolem as he felt that it resembled him most. It was even stranger when he began to concentrate on this red stimulation that the effects of the other thoughts seemed to become null.
  16.
  17. What was the Name of this Red Stimulation?
  18.
  19. "Carnage!..."
  20.
  21. In a sea of attacks bombarding his body, Nolem stood motionless with eyes that aimed towards the Carnage stimulation. The more he focused on it, the more the thought empowered him with concentrated thoughts of carnage, making the attacks of the other stimulations far less impactful. Nolem had seemed to achieve his goal of being able to concentrate in the midst of being bombarded by attacks.
  22.
  23. A figure pierced through the surface of the water and stood at the top of its surface as if he was some supreme being. His aura was crude and violent; being filled with malice savergy. Looking upon him, one could swear that they could hear the screams of the torturous dammed soothing from being.
  24.
  25. This being was no one other than Nolem who had seemed to be more refined than he used to be. He had learned to focus!*
