  1. >You are in the endless hallways again, running. She can't find you.
  2. >You had been sprinting for a good half hour, but you knew it was no use.
  3. >She will find you.
  4. >And she does.
  5. >Just as you turn a corner, just when you think that maybe you were home free, She stops you.
  6. >With a knife through the chest.
  7. >You yell out in agony, feeling the warm blood start to gush out the wound in your chest. She had hit your heart.
  8. >You knew that you were going down.
  9. >You drop to your knees, clutching the knife in your chest.
  10. >Slowly, you decide to pull it out.
  11. >She widens her eyes in surprise, not believing that you were still alive. She always kills in one shot.
  12. >She doesn't know that you never give up. On anything.
  13. >You take the knife, and throw it.
  14. >In the oppisite direction.
  15. >You look at her, and see that she was expecting the worst. She was covering her head in terror. She looks at you in confusion.
  16. "But.. why?"
  17. > No one.. deser-ves.. to.. die..
  18.
  19. >You wake up, breathing really hard. You automatically check to see where she was.
  20. >She was softly sleeping in the oppisite corner of you. At least you hope she was sleeping..
  21. "Ah, good to see you awake Aanon."
  22. >You cringe, realizing that you never told them your name. Now they knew it.
  23. "This will be the last time I will talk to you in a while, so listen carefully: whatever you do, do not make our subject snap. The last person we sent in did it, and let's just say, it took a while to clean up.."
  24. >You're worst nightmare, literally, has come true.
  25. "Anyway, you will each get two meals a day. I will send them together so you two can get to know each other better."
  26. >You hear him laugh.
  27. "Have fun Aanon."
  28. >As soon as he stops talking, you see a small door open up, and a tray with two white paper sacks pop in your room, along with two white containers.
  29. >You get up, and run over to the door, but it was already shut. It didn't matter, there was no way you could fit through it anyway. You look through the one labeled "Aanon".
  30. >It was just like a school lunch. There was a PB and J, some chips, and a cookie.
  31. >You hated cookies. They always made you sick.
  32. >You sigh, and put them back in the sack. You one of the containers, filled with water, and start to walk back to your corner.
  33. >You stop, realizing that she will have to cross the room, making her that much closer to you, to get her stuff.
  34. >You put her bag and container on the tray, also white, and kick it with your foot to slide it over to her. It slides faster that you thought, and softly hits her in the back.
  35. >Ohshit.
  36. >She looks up, and sees you looking at her. She glares and looks ready to get up, then sees the food. She stops glaring, and curiously looks through the bag. This buys you time to run over to your corner.
  37. You start to eat your sandwich, not paying attention to the taste, looking at her paw through the bag. You wish you had those keys..
  38. >She looks at the sandwich, looks at it, and sniffs it. Her eyes widen, and she rips through the wrapper.
  39. >She must like sandwiches.
  40. >Instead of eating it though, she opens the sandwich and.. licks off the jelly.
  41. >It was very disturbing.
  42. >She just throws the rest of the sandwich on the tray, and takes out the chips.
  43. >Potato chips.
  44. >She makes a disgusted face, and throws them on the tray. She then takes out the cookie.
  45. >Almost immediately, she devours it, even looking happy for the first time.
  46. >She sees you staring, and you look away. You don't want to be knived today.
  47. >She seems to like sugar though. Maybe I could use that to my advantage..
  48. >You finished your sandwich and chips, and you're eyeing the cookie.
  49. >You really didn't like cookies.
  50. >Idea.
  51. >With her still sitting there glaring at you, you put the cookie in your bag, and slide it over to her. She takes the bag, still making sure to look at you, and feels through it. She finds the cookie.
  52. >She looks surprised. You're not sure if that's good or not.
  53. >She suspiciously eyes the cookie. Seeing no faults, she devours yours too.
  54. >Did she smile? Maybe a little?
  55. >It was a start.
  56. >She puts all of the trash on the tray, and kicks it to the door. She still stares at you, glaring.
  57. >You really need to find a way to not make her hate you. You have to do something.
  58. >You decide that it is best to let her get used to you. Boredom has to kick in enventually.
  59. >In the weeks that you have been here, you have learned how to overcome boredom.
  60. >You sit crosslegged in the corner, and start to meditate, or at least what you think meditating is. You learned that if you sit there long enough, you could zone out for hours at a time. You knew that it was dangerous to do it with her over there, but you trusted your sense of sound enough to snap you out of it.
  61. >You zone out in a matter of minutes, having done it so many times. After what felt like minutes, you hear the small door open again, and you glance at her again.
  62. >She was silently pacing around, clearly bored out of her mind. As soon as she heard the door open, she ran over to it and took both of your sacks.
  63. >You weren't really mad, you couldn't be. She would kill you if you tried to get yours back.
  64. >She ripped open both of the lunches, and once again it was PB and J's, potato chips, and a cookie. She did the same exact thing to the sandwiches the first time you saw her, and ate both of the cookies. She threw the rest on the tray and kicked it towards the door, staring at you.
  65. >You knew exactly what she was thinking. She wanted to know how you would react.
  66. What's your name?
  67. "I don't care if it was-! Wait.. What?"
  68. >She was actually trying to piss you off. It wasn't going to work.
  69. >She didn't know how to respond. She was trying to hold back on how bored she was. Finally, she glares at you.
  70. "It's none of your business."
  71. >She then grumbles and walks back over to her corner. She lays back down and tries to get some sleep. You meditate a little longer, and when you feel tired, you lay down too so you can rest.
  72.
  73. >You are in a pink room. The walls look like they have matresses on them. You start to jump around, and even laugh a little at how much fun you are having.
  74. >Then she came in.
  75. >You instantly back away, fearing the worst.
  76. >She pulls out a knife, even longer than the last one.
  77. >You get backed into a corner, and you wait.
  78. >She brings the knife down on your-
  79. >You catch her wrist, and throw the knife down.
  80. >She tries to punch you with her other hand, but you grab her other wrist too.
  81. >She seems shocked, wondering what you are going to do to her.
  82. >You grab her wrists together, and you raise your other hand and you-
  83. >Hug her.
  84. >She is clearly shocked out of her mind. She never knew anyone that would be so forgiving like that, but she has never met you.
  85. >You see her slowly go from a frown to a-
  86.
  87. THUD THUD THUD.
  88.
  89. >You wake up, and look at her. She was banging her head against the wall.
  90.
  91. AAAAAAAAAAAUUGH!
  92.
  93. >And screaming.
  94. >You freeze, knowing exactly that if you say anything, or even look at her, you could tip her over the edge.
  95. >You quickly get crosslegged again, and pretend you're meditation. You can feel her furiously stare at you, even worse than all of those other times. You keep up the act though.
  96.
  97. "I DON'T GET IT! HOW DO YOU DO IT! HOW DO YOU COPE WITH IT!"
  98.
  99. >She was talking directly to you. Better tread lightly.
  100. Uhhh..
  101. >Uh oh. Think brain. Think..
  102. I just.. meditate.
  103.
  104. "HOW CAN YOU DO SOMETHING SO BORING, FOR SO LONG!! I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE!!"
  105.
  106. >She looks ready to blow a fuse.
  107. Well, we could always..
  108.
  109. "WHAT!?"
  110.
  111. Talk..
  112. "WITH YOU?! NO!!"
  113. Why not?
  114. "Because, I DON'T LIKE YOU!"
  115. But.. I like you.
  116. >She stops shouting, and gawks at you.
  117. "What?! But why?! I've done nothing nice for you! I've eaten your food! I've said over and over that I hate you! I won't even give you your keys! Why would you like me?! Why won't you get angry!? WHY?!"
  118. >She started to walk over to you, and you stand up.
  119. >She gets up to you, balls her fists in your shirt, and shakes you back and forth
  120. "Get angry!! Get angry at me!"
  121. I-I-I-c-ca-an-n-t!
  122. "Why not?! Is there something wrong with your brain?!"
  123. >You suddenly get a stupid idea.
  124. >She was still shaking you back and forth.
  125. >Well it's now or never.
  126. >You raise your hands up. She is smiling seeing that she finally got you. She knew that just one punch would make her snap. She closes her eyes and waits for it..
  127. >Instead, you put your arms around her, and hug her.
  128. >Just like in your dream, she is shocked beyond belief.
  129. "What the?! What are you- Get off!!"
  130. >Because of the chains, she couldn't shake you off.
  131. She finally ducks under you, still stunned.
  132. "What is wrong with you! AAAAARGH!"
  133. >She walks back over to her corner, what seems to be mad. You get up, and walk back to your corner.
  134. >Her skin was surprisingly soft, and when you hugged her, you even brushed her hair. It felt soft, and smelled like cotton candy. You sit there a while, thinking about it.
  135. >You spend the rest of the day meditating, and watching her eat your food again. You see that she has finally calmed down. You decide to ask her again.
  136. What's your name?
  137. "Are you going to keep asking me that?! It's Pinkie, ok?!"
  138. >Finally. You finally know the name of a girl you spent 2 days alone with.
  139. >You go back to meditating.
  140. "Why are you always doing that?!"
  141. >You snap back.
  142. To fight the boredom.
  143. "But that's not fair! I'm bored too!"
  144. Do you wanna talk?
  145. "No!"
  146. But you won't be as bored..
  147. "I don't care!"
  148. Fine. I'll just talk to you. Maybe then you won't be as bored.
  149. >She turned her back to you.
  150. Okay then, what should I talk about?
  151. "I don't want to hear it!"
  152. I'm doing my best to help you.
  153. "I don't need you!"
  154. Fine, then I'll just talk to that wall. Why hello there wall! How's it going? It's been some time, hasn't it? So anyways, I was about to tell a story to my friend Pinkie over-
  155. "I'm not your friend!"
  156. To my roomate Pinkie over there. So, last summer, my friends and I went to Lagoon, and we went to one of those dumb carnival games. You know the one where you take the baseball and smash the plates? That was what we were playing. I wanted to play just so I could win that enormous panda bear on the top rack. I didn't even want it, I just wanted to win it. So you had to break three plates, and you had three balls, right? So I threw the first baseball, and missed. I was mad, but I tried for the small prize. I hit a plate on my second try, and I cocked back my arm for the last throw. You would never believed what happened..
  157. >You paused, waiting. Waiting..
  158. Pinkie: What happened next?
  159. >Bingo.
  160. I was actually able to hit in between two of the plates, and knocked them over where they shattered. The owner was impressed. He said he never saw that before, and I told him to keep the panda. I never really wanted it.
  161. Pinkie: Why didn't you just take it anyway?
  162. I didn't know what I would do with it..
