TSW 33: Mary's Double Date part 1

22:24:18: <IcepickLobotomy> Mary: The door to your bedroom is thrown open as Hikari rushes inside "Mary! I need your help!"
22:26:45: mary blinks and looks at her as she sits on the floor, one leg currently under assault by megan while she is noting something on the whiteboard, the math one this time not the conspiracy.
22:30:22: <IcepickLobotomy> "Okso, I asked Mark, the one from English? out to a date. he said he'd go if I could get a date for his friend Jamie, black kid with g;asses in your chem class. I told him I could get him a date but no one else went for it and the date is tnohjt but its a doubledate so I need you to help me out please pleas please please please!" She thorws herself at your feet
22:31:35: <mary> "Eh wait whaaaat? "
22:31:59: mary looks at her quite surprised.
22:33:21: <IcepickLobotomy> She takes a breath "I asked Mark on a date, he said yes but *only* if I could find a date for his friend. No one else I asked said yes and the date is tonight, so I'm asking you to do me a /huge/ favor and be my double."
22:33:53: <mary> "but but.. I..? date?"

22:36:38: mary takes a deep breath. "Uh.. what does jamie know about that?"
22:38:06: <IcepickLobotomy> "H doesn't know who I got, when he asked I told him itd be a surprise cuz I needed to buy more time."
22:38:52: <mary> "Okay I am unsure if I should be relived or downcast that you asked me last.."
22:43:46: <IcepickLobotomy> "Well I mean, you've not seemed all that interested in dating and romance and all that so you know. . ."
22:44:17: <mary> "Okay I ... well uh, it was kind of complicated there for me but..hmhm.."

22:50:33: mary looks at her quiviering lips and heaving bossom , okay the last one is not really present. " I might do it buuut.."

22:55:52: <mary> "Okay you owe me for that one , even if I do not yet quite know what I want for it ."

23:10:15: <IcepickLobotomy> She rolls her eyes "Alright, open up the closest and lets see what we're working with."
23:11:15: <mary> "And that also means that you owe me at least one back massage." she says before she shudders for a moment as she turns to the EVIL CLOSET.

23:11:39: <mary> "Well I could uh use the one that we bought together" she says as she fights with walking over there.
23:12:24: <IcepickLobotomy> "It's nice, but I was thinking something a bit more relaxed. ." She picks out a knee length skirt and a dark blue blouse "We're just meeting up for a movie and some dinner afterall."
23:14:38: <mary> "Uh okay shoes.. flat ? heel ? boot something with colour? And it might be nice to distract myself. "
23:15:10: <IcepickLobotomy> "mm, thinking shoes. . . Oh and we'll need to do someting about that rat nest on your head too."
23:18:21: <mary> "What is wrong with my hair?!"
23:19:44: <IcepickLobotomy> "Well nothing, just that your stlying is a tad. . . outdated." Hikari pulls loose a small knot on your hair "I mean I do like ot, but maybe we could fluff it up some."
23:23:02: mary mumbles something and crosses her arms.
23:23:24: <mary> "And what where you thinking about?"
23:24:03: <IcepickLobotomy> "Nothing too fancy, just fluff it up a bit, give it some more volume."
23:30:28: <mary> "Maybe...."
23:30:44: <IcepickLobotomy> "It'll look great, I promise."
23:32:19: <mary> "Okay I am trusting you here."

23:37:30: <IcepickLobotomy> A few hours later.
23:38:21: <IcepickLobotomy> Mary: You've been dressed up, fussed over, your hair poofed out and a tasteful amount of make-up applied. Hikari has subjected herself to much the same as well, and now the two of you are waiting down in the central mall for the boys to show up.
23:40:37: mary is looking down at her nails also and adjust her non skirt, it has been a long while since she dolled herself up as a teenager after all "So , which movie and meal will it be?"
23:41:27: <IcepickLobotomy> "Uh, some russian film, called The Last Conductor, supposed to be good though. After that we're gonna go out to Alladin's Persian food."
23:47:52: <mary> "Okay , that might be interesting, I have no idea about that one."
23:48:18: <IcepickLobotomy> "It's supposed to be pretty scary," she adds with a sly grin
23:49:24: <mary> "Ah you want to use that , a classic one."
23:50:06: <IcepickLobotomy> "Yeap. Not that I think my date will mind."
23:51:55: <mary> "You could go foreward with that, if he knows where not to put his hand." comes her slightly judging comment.
23:52:31: <IcepickLobotomy> "My mom did pass me a pen-kinfe, just in case, but I really doubt I'll need it."
23:55:06: mary looks around, and then hands her a can of mace "Here be prepared and all that."
23:56:12: <IcepickLobotomy> ". . ." She puts it into her purse "You and my mom, shesh. LEast you care though."
00:04:58: <mary> "Hey I did not try to offer you a ninja knife yet."
00:05:14: <mary> "And I think she care also for you."
00:09:09: <IcepickLobotomy> "Never denied it." She waves at someone "Oh, there they are, play it cool Mary."
00:11:00: mary nods and then turns towards the newcomers trying to put on a friendly smile
00:11:28: <IcepickLobotomy> Mark is tall, and blonde with a healthy tan. He's handsome, in a pretty way, but certainly good looking. You can see why Mary asked him out. Jamie on the other hand is about average height, with a solid and lean build that makes you think of a boxer. His head is shaved, and they're both dressed nicely in slacks and pants.

00:12:08: <IcepickLobotomy> Jamie looks you over a moment "Uh, hey, you look nice?" He copies his friend with much less confidence.
00:17:41: <mary> "Hi Jamie , " she says with a friendly smile also being a bit unsure there.
00:18:17: <IcepickLobotomy> He smiles shly while Hikari and Mark seem to hit off, the two of them chatting easily.
00:19:27: <IcepickLobotomy> "Comeon you two, we'll be late for the movie!" You find your arm grabbed by Hikari as she drags you into the theatre. Mark shrugs and motions for Jamie to follow him inside.
00:23:40: mary stumbles after her and then navigates her, with the genki anchor bobbing at her feet towards the foodcourt.
00:29:44: <IcepickLobotomy> She forces the boys to carry the pop-corn and other snacks as you all take your seats in the darkened theatre, adds for other films are playing at the moment.
00:34:18: mary leans back, takes a bit out of the popcorn and looks over the three others
00:35:11: <IcepickLobotomy> HIkari and Mark seem to be flirting quietly with eachother, while Mark glances at your direction and seems rather tense and nervous.

00:37:08: mary looks at him, takes potion of the popcorn and raises a eyebrow as she nudges the bag towards him.
00:37:58: <IcepickLobotomy> He takes a few pieces and munches on them "So. . . Heard this is a good movie." he offers
00:39:13: <mary> "I think it is a horror movie but I confess to being a bit out of the loop with movies."
00:41:41: <IcepickLobotomy> "Yeah same here. . . So, uh. . . you have any hobbies?"
00:43:06: <mary> "Well, a bit of a regular geek, I am also doing some singing. and well, devouring some books. What about you?"
00:47:38: <IcepickLobotomy> 'Boxing mostly. I even compete in the semi-pro rings here."
00:51:53: <mary> "I had thought o as well you got the body for that."
00:55:04: <IcepickLobotomy> "Yeah, thankfully my nose hasn't gone crooked. . . Yet."
00:55:25: <mary> " Or you got Boxer ears."
00:56:08: <IcepickLobotomy> He nods. "Bu yeah, that's basically what I do."
00:59:09: mary nods "Well yeah I am in the astronomy club together with Hikari."

01:01:16: <mary> "Yes , she also helped me get a bit more used to the city after I got here."
01:02:52: <IcepickLobotomy> "Yeah, never really talked with her but she's a good sort," he glances over at the other pair who are now leaning together "even if she can be a tad. . uhh, well you know. Excited."

01:08:01: <IcepickLobotomy> The lights start to dim as the movie starts "Alright that's enough you two movie is starting."
01:10:17: mary might have given off a last comment as she then starts to watch the movie.
01:10:51: <IcepickLobotomy> The movie starts with a shot of a snow covered Moscow in ruins. The camera pans down, below the ground, to a group of people in a metro station.
01:13:23: mary is not as evil as to talk loudly in the movies..yet.
01:13:43: <IcepickLobotomy> The movie is a horror, but one of bleak and oppressive atmosphere rather than shock. The movie centers around the Moscow metro, where the last survivors of WW3 eek out a life. In the move the main character undertakes a journey to the other side to visit deliver a message from a dying woman to her son. He meets mutants, bandits and stranger things, but the bulk of the movie is his meetings...
01:13:45: <IcepickLobotomy> ...with the other citizens and his discussion with them. They talk of human nature, of god and of humanities actions that lead to this state, many views being shown with Segei leaving unsure at each turn. The movie ends with him reaching his destination, only to find it overran with rats who've devoured everyone therein.
01:15:23: mary clearly is not to happy with the clausthrophobic dark atmosphere in some of the parts
01:17:06: <IcepickLobotomy> Hikari has taken advantage of a jump-scare with a mutant thing in the dark to wrap herself around Mark. Meanwhile Jamie watched the movie with a enraptured look.
01:18:15: mary might have burried her nails in her hand, and taken a moment to take a toilet break, and enjoyed the light as she was out there and stayed for 2-3 minutes in it.
