Ph chronicle from 2010

There i was, a player with 9-10~ years of online gaming experience and around 5 years of clanning Experience on Runescape joining something entirely new. Something so rubbish and beneath me (to put in perspective, i was level 117 or 116 by July 2007 and remained the same combat till March 2009, all of them were level 80s), the clan was called Pure hatred.

I instantly got a glimpse of their struggle and the stupidity of their leadership, they had numbers but no skill/mindset knowledgeable of leading or operating a clan on Runescape or in any other game, they were all still teens/tweens and i was already an adult not just in age but in experience lol. At first i'd get on just to pk casually and not pay attention to their problems or beefs with other clans, they were being hunted by another clan which was much more larger and more established by them, the leader - in order to save his clan cracked in to the pressure and allowed that clan to leech ph's members off to dk. (divine kings).

This is all neat storyline, but this is what made me 'wake up' and take responsibility for the safety and well-being of my clan, i had already dealt with similar situations in teh past while leading previous clans - every clan had to go from the hunted to the hunter phase, ph was stuck in the hunted phase because the leader wouldn't listen and had no clue how to get out of it or change the tide.

That's when i became much more involved, i began formulating a clan structure - influenced them to create their own IRC channel, forums and begin using teamspeak. None of the members played any competitive games before, the community was filled with players who'd play runescape from mini-clip they had no clue what competitive gaming was on Runescape or clanning is on the game, they had no idea to the history of the clans on the game or the politicking behind it.

Little by little, 1 step at a time i'd direct and influence them till i myself became a leader and took the initiative of thinking 40-60 steps forward to combat our arch enemies - DK, i took it personally to train and teach these rubbish members how to become legends of the game, the best members the most desired members, the most wanted. The most respected. The most appreciated and feared. We started off as a crappy team that pked at low level wild moved up to mid level the deep wilderness combat, we established ourselves through the first crash war of 2009.

Up until september 2009 ph was the clan you'd go hit in the wildy when you're bored, 20 level 120s of EH would beat the shit out of 100 level 90 ph's with extreme ease, i wanted to change that and none of the leadership understood what i meant. We began pracitcing, doing pks/wars not just to have an event but to improve - build up, we'd fight the best of the best and get our ass annhliated at first.

I began pushing forward for 'independence', through out our first year we'd rely on other clans to help us out, but after eliminating our two main enemies (Noobs inc *Ni and Divine Kings *DK*) Via guerrilla warfare and out smarting them in their own game we liquidated their assets, Ni's main leader and founder joined Ph and we gave him the respect he deserved. We helped him and in return he helped us.

To give you an example, there was a period in ph where we did pks where we 'didn't fight back', to DK. The usual would occur: Krunal930 leading a pk trip, refuses to listen to any advice and DK comes after having a war/after we fail to crash it then clear us and we'd end our pk for a while till DK gets bored and ends. This hurt us a lot..

I knew the solution just needed the right time to do it (at this point we had already made allies and fought DK many times won several times but they still had the upper hand over us in terms of combat & numbers and endurance).. I made Dk's trips to hunt/hit ph unworthy for their members, at first we'd crash their wars then try to fight them and always lose. So..

I did something probably no other had done yet on bh worlds (2009/2010) yet, I took a small pk trip and told members not to come unless they want to - its not mandatory because we won't be fighting back to DK, we'll be wasting their time entirely and force them to hunt us - the true meaning off guerrilla, my only request was for the members not TO COMPLAIN about the tactic and to be patient. It payed off so well, for the time ever in ph's history krunal wasn't there to fuck things up.. On the on the contrary he refused to come on Teamspeak and went on his second account to flame me for 'bringing destruction upon ph by challenging DK and baiting them to hunt us'. Little did DK know i sat down on teamspeak and we planted many many spies in their clan.. Which i'll get into later. Any spy they tried to plant into Ph was located and removed.

What i did was so different, DK had a war in the deep wild - we went in to kill returners to bait them to come hunt us when it was over, DK got frustrated and left the fight to hunt us - ph as a clan then can not get ended because it would of meant losing tens of members to our rivals. I dismissed most of the pk trip but had enough to show them that we're still there and they should hunt us, they came in with 4 times our numbers and their leader told them we'll be killing off ph.

I guided them to clan wars on a bh world - which was a safe spot, any other spot they would of just mass sniped us in singles and forced us to walk down and end, at clan wars they came in and our tactic wasn't to go from none wildy to wildy and hit and run, when ever we'd try that they would have a pre-click and ko several of our members - most of them wouldnt return but would stick around if they didn't die.. I knew that so well.

I took one fall in and began mock 'rushing' Dk, they would stay in the wildy and flame us and i would run with my Fall in then run back inside instantly, they couldn't kill any of us because we werent' trying to attack them... My spy analyzed their reaction and the way they saw this, i knew their members were extremely impatient and unloyal to their clan while our members knew exactly what we're doing and how it will pay off. ANd by god it did.

Within days several of DK's officials quit, we were forcing them to come hunt us at clan wars/bh and we weren't killing them or them killing us, the major benefit was the fact krunal930 wasn't there to fuck things up and saddam was right there to help out and to guide us, saddam is 1 of the smartest people to ever play runescape.

This evolved, DK members were less enthusiastic to come to pk trips because their leader obsessed about 'killing' ph (i know i mentioned before that both DK and NI closed, but DK would go on to reopen over 20 times each time becoming more and more weaker, this was a reopening where they were still strong), their members were tired of the bullshit and wanted to just 'truce' with us so both clans would stop bothering each other and grow.

We didn't play ball, we proceeded. Continued to crash their wars and it got to the point where they weren't even setting up fights anymore out of fear of ph crashing and we weren't strong enough yet to take them head on - we had to prove to the pker community that this is the clan to join right now, look how well/smart it operates. We started avoiding DK in the wilderness with our fantastic spy (wee man, a ph leader joined on a spare to spy and he did it perfectly), they'd hop a world to find us but wouldn't find us, then they'd walk around and lose numbers - while we had our events as none mand and could mass 20-30 people within 4 minutes.. At first we'd bore them out then they'd end and we'd continue pking (the wildy was really active so there were many clans to fight and kill).

Like this:

A) DK masses up to Pk/Hunt ph.
B) Ph calls a none mand event to bait them into 'hunting ph'
C) Dk gets 50-60 people on Teamspeak/in game ready to hunt ph or battle a clan, anything else was unworthy and waste of time. None of them wanted to just walk around, ph members lived runescape.
D) DK would begin losing numbers on Teamspeak and Ph would call a quick mandatory mass, we'd jump from 20-30 people to 40-45 people.
E) As soon as DK was about to end and had already lost more than half their numbers, we'd rush them and hit them.
F) DK would quickly log out realizing they dont have the numbers anymore to take us on and since they were more GMT driven and PH est we could drag them into a long war.

The result was DK members getting demoralized and mass leaving, after enough DK members quit out of boredom and ph gained much more recruits and respect from the clan community, we began challenging dk to a full on fights - so both sides can maximize their enjoyment. At first we'd fight them 5 minutes then lose, then we fought them 20 minutes and lost then we fought them 1 hour and lost then we fought them 2 hours and lost.

Then we fought them 3 hours and lost, but.. we turned it around, we quickly learned how to force them to end/leave/log out. Ph kept improving each time they'd fight DK, DK kept becoming shitter by fighting ph.. We knew victory was near.

On the day we won, Dk was waiting at east tree, Saddam took the fall in - we knew they had more than us but we also knew we're dedicated enough to continue returning till we won.. We battled them and we fought and this time we won. This was the last time ph ever lost to DK and we quickly turned it from Hunted To HUNTERS.

We gave DK no breathing room, they began losing so much to us and eventually they closed and re-opened more times than anyone can count, i was there every single time they would reopen and i'd get ph to close tehm again and again.

We then went stray.. With DK FINALLY GONE, Ni Gone, all other small CC teams are on such super friendly terms with us.. We had no 'rivals' of our class (meaning open CC teams), all other CC teams wanted to be friendly to us so we kind of shot our self in the foot, we created enemies - i'd help those clans improve and built them selves up so they can get to a level that can challenge us, when they couldn't we'd force them to team up by hunting/crashing all their pks when they pked alone.

With Dk gone and Ni gone and crash wars all coming to an end.. We decided to form our selves into an official clan - closed the cc (whom by now had no more randoms. everyone was ph) and stopped crashing all together, i wrote a topic explaining our new policy and made a new section for 'policy' making and stance of ph, call it ph's state department section. I made sure all leaders in the clan community read it and understood it.

This is why i respect VR the most out of all the clans in the game, Vr could of easily wiped us off when we became a clan - until then we were crashing every single war they had for 12+ hours and making sure they'd lose, when we became a clan i didnt even talk to evizu to truce or form a deal. I just posted the topic and showed him (am not sure if it was him or another official) and told them if they want to come after us then its right to do so because we crashed them for a year and a half now for no real reason anymore + when they decided to 'truce' with us we had nothing to do so we broke it and crashed them (lol... SO evil).

I talked to saddam and told him that we'll be becoming official and aspiring for something different, honor. Saddam had to leave and by now he had spent months in ph guiding and helping us, we reassured him that we won't be ac'ing ni members when they crash fights.

When we were a crasher clan NOT A single clan wanted to fight us, NONE.. We crashed so well that we became masters at it as saddam noted.. We perfected it there was nothing left for us to do, we'd login in a world crash it and clear all clans then move on to the next world.

So we started fighting mid clans and top clans but at a certain point no one wanted to fight us anymore... So.. We did what we could do best, create a challenging enemy. We couldn't crash anymore so we used them to crash for us when we wanted and we'd turn on them when we didn't needed - this WAS NOT MY CALL OR IDEA, this was done almost entirely by the rest of ph's leadership.. I didn't care about that shit.

For instance, we'd hunt every XO pk trip but then setup our own wars, i was shocked to see that they wouldnt come crash us when we warred.. so i kind of betrayed my clan (ph) and went to talk to their leader, i told him to make teamspeak  & irc mandatory, team capes mandatory and create their own forums.. he did and their clan became more organized my aim was creating a proper enemy for us to battle and continue having events on... To make things more interesting we'd hit their enemies and then force them to team up on us.

We finally got what we wanted, we forced every single CC team (except CD) to team up on us with downfall, TMC, AK latin and several other teams also joining the war against Ph.

This event was a pinical event in ph's history, by far it was the most important event we ever had. We setup a fight with TMC for 1h cap and knew the world was coming to crash us, they came in with 2 Full Clan chats (thats 200 people) to crash our war with tmc (whom had 60 people and we had 45~, we were still able to fight them despite the difference), TMC was shocked at the amount of crashers we had on us and didn't know what to do.

We told them not to bother stopping anymore and just to continue piling us, we'll be fighting everyone. TMC refused to do so and after a few minutes took ending and left. I told all our members to switch to ancient teleports (almost all of us had gdz tele) and we took the fight to GDZ, we kept teleporting up and dying for what seemed like eternity, they had enough numbers to have a main pile on every single one of us (200+ people vs 45) we still kept coming back and piling them, never once our piles dropped. Our strategy was simple - return in GDZ to a DD inside the penis and take out their low levels/none returning opts).

After a while they dropped numbers, from 200 to 180 to 150 to 120, once they dropped to 90 people (XO,DF + others either died and didnt return or got bored and left, yes we outlasted) we knew the fight was in our hands, we got a proper regorup and just chased them out of the wilderness. Like the pathetic scum noobs they were, they tried to fight back for 2 minutes and realize that they only had 30 people more than us, we cleared em out of the wild and they ended. We claimed our rightfully deserved victory) almost all of those clans started declining after that event, Xo had a mass leave and soon closed, the other CC teams just vanished downfall pussied out on everything (come to think about it, ph also crashed df's ever pvp fight lol, had a spy in their clan and they used to pk with DK did i mention our anti Dk policy? "Dont Pk with DK", we'd kill any dk member in any other clan/team he was in.

A few weeks after that we had our first REAL real long prep war vs Downfall..

The UNC was a great place for ph as well, at one point we setup a big long prep fight vs Downfall, it was our most important prep fight in history, we prepped so hard and asked clans to come AC to make sure the fight stays clean.. Downfall talked a lot of shit before and i told my members NOT to flame back and punished anyone that did, i told them we'll be playing it like the Titans - we wont be talking shit but just straight up slaughtering them.

The event came and we SLAUGHTERED downfall. we absolutely murdered them, so many clans showed up to AC - all the clans we were acing for them without them even asking us to showed up and AC'ed for us no one touched the fight and we destroyed them.. Clans like TMC, Ha, Trwf, tr,wl etc all showed up to AC (sure they got battles out of it too :P) was an awesome event for ph.

There is no way to put it, they couldn't end us, no one could end ph, no one. I made sure no one did, ever. (tried at least).. We knew we could advance to be in the top clan ladder but didn't want to, we worked and horned our craft.. Improved so well,

2010 was a fanatstic year for ph, we were a stepping stone for so many clans and could put up any fight against top clans. Then we voted for free trade.. before Feb 2011, we were pulling 50+ To any event that was none mand/quick prep, 60+ to mand/prepped events. Fighting and defeating anyone and we had more war offers than we could handle.

After we finished the story with the CC team we became more absorbed in fighting clans, we decreed that we'll fight CC teams no more and focus on improving. We'd battle CWA teams like TKO weekly, Collision was our first obstacle but we managed to surpass them, Envy, Asc also were targets and we surpassed.

By Feb 2011, we had wars almost daily and sometimes 3-4 events a day, Ph was the most active clan on Runescape pking in f2p none stop and our members made their own p2p teams and would pk p2p none stop as well, we had such a healthy competition with other clans doing PVM comps - our first PVM comp was with our great friends TMC, it was a fantastic comp.. We'd go on a public teamspeak and compare loots, both clans took it very seriously. Eventually TMC won the Comp but as Tali said  it "Both clans made bank", it brought us to much closer relations with the latin american community of Runescape, ph in its self was international we had peopel from all over the world, Finland, Israel, Egypt, U.S, Mexico, portugal, chile, australia, the uk, nl, france, canada, brazil and so on... We made sure everyone felt welcomed and i would personally pick on every member issue and resolve "small problems before they become big".

Ph's prime was before the free trade update, up until then EVERYONE wanted to fight us, as i said before we were getting more fight offers than we could take!, a clan cancelled an event on you in the last minute or no showed? you'd pm ph and we'd mass up a quick 20-30 people and give you an event. I can't begin to write about the countless times i'd walk around the wilderness spectating other fights while encouraging my members to do the same - to study the clans so we can defeat them.. I'd always see random crashers and without those clans asking us to come AC - we'd do a quick 8 minute mass and take 20-30 people to clear the crashers (as long as they werne't people we didnt wanna clear,  we tried our best to stay out of beef but eventually we had the crashers on us).

With free trade ph became corrupt, i became less active and krunal took most responsbility i did on himself.. At this point i was already staying up so late and negleting all my life.  ALmost never slept.

I became less active and krunal alienated several members in the clan whom held some 'elite' rank but not official ranks (in ph i made sure ranks meant jack shit. Every member had equal saying power and people could flame me if i made any mistakes even if i was a leader and i wouldnt kick them, criticism was extremely important) they became upset and bsed Dj frost for 57m in red portal, it was greed.. They wanted Daman's phat but they failed at it.

Our intelligence community (yeah we called it that, was basically me, ultimair and wee man) opened up an invistigation, we convinced Azteka to give us the member's account information and we took all their assets off them, we cleaned the account but made sure it had no connection to us, their plan was to bs ph members then join Solace - whom until then was on great terms with ph. They were Bhatu, R3dtopaz and Ehms.

I posted a topic in unc and had wee man phrase it and re-phrase it perfectly we gave a clear warning to Solace not to accept those members, they said they wont' be backing down to threats but they did. They didn't accept them and waited for the hole thing to 'buzz' off then allowed them to join, 4 of them hanged around and kept trying to join Sol and eventually did - only of them stuck around for a while (we had lost two ph members to sol till then, the other hellboy *Louie* and 007chair, but they didn't try to leech off us + were gone after a while from Sol).

I'll admit i kept a very very tight grip on them without them ever realizing it, their friends betrayed them and they thought they 'killed' ph when they bsed dj frost and caused inner drama, our next event pull was dreadful but we recovered instantly. We changed our FA/Intro System instantly to make things harder and give more time to secure our situation.

Within 2 weeks we were back to strong pulls but needed more time to revamp. At this point i invested colossal time into ph, from our investigation we concluded that their ill treatment by krunal930 (mocking them, flaming them and disrespecting them) gave premise to their action, they had no other hard feelings at any of the other officials, i warned krunal to treat people with more respect but he didn't care, dj frost payed the price (but got more than his items worth + more).

Fast forward, we continued to do our pks and fights, we'd fight CL/AA weekly at night, EXO/Tmc/AW/TKO/Cor/VR/DF/EoS/RSD every few so often. The thing about fighting clans like DF/VR/EoS/RSD/TR/Cor, we made it clear for them keep your numbers the same as ours and dont call mand and we'll give you a fight (both were out so why the hell not) each time we'd rip their shit on equal opts and they'd call mand and clear us, we still loved it.

I eventually dropped activity and began planning my way for retirement i was under so much pressure just managing everything for ph and trying to keep everyone united, to my credit (not that i am self righteous or narcissistic) i did predict many waves of mass leaves/quitters over the years, each time i assessed the situations the members would tell me i was right and stay patient, i felt that complete transparency with the members would always make them feel like they have an equal voice (for instance, no 1 was afraid of me but respected my decisions and knew i had the best interest for the clan, wom byron had no problem telling me to get the fuck out of cwa when we had a matched opts vs Foe in p2p, colby thought its not okay for the elites to tell a leader to get the fuck out but i thought it was a good thing).

Slowly but surely i passed on all my responsibilities to the fellow leadership, at this point krunal had massively improved in terms of calling and leadership, he was learning from his past mistakes but was still a bit of an 'asshole' you can say to the members, something i highly disapproved of such as selective punishment for newer members when they imitated more 'oldschool' members that were fucking about without being punished.

I always thought that if a leadership cant produce other leadership then its a faliure, i transitioned and moved all my power and dependence onto others, there was no vacuum and my retirement post was no surprise to anyone, we pulled the same and stayed strong.

Sometime during August 2011 i became a bit disgusted with the clan - the leadership payed no attention to member issues in regards to flaming/spastic behavior and didn't care about the fact many new members had mentors that didn't even try to mentor (we had great mentors over the years such as princeofdarkness, aka furious whom joined us to spy on us for collision, he ended up becoming a ph member and left collision, azteka, wee man, and most importantly this is something every ph member that joined from 2008-2011 can attest to - Ultimair was by far the best of the best in ph, best member, best leader, best mentor, best sniper, best tanker, best ranger, best mager.. had we had more ultimairs' Ph would of defeated sol/df with ease).

I left in august and tried to join Tr, i quit the same day i joined Tr after 1 event, i based my choice to join Tr on the fact i was gmt + 2 and my health was truly utter shit at the time, i rarely slept well even after i retired from leadership of ph,).. Tr was extremely welcoming, i had known their leadership since 2007-2008 and highly respected them, they always stood up for Ph even when we were wrong, they always helped us we always ac'ed for them and helped them fight off dk and other crashers.. Tr was our best friend and our closest friend for many years. We never had problems with Tr till they closed.

Tr was great they just defeated TT that day in a massive 80 + man pull, massing at 'secret bat cave'.. But it wasnt the same, it wasnt voices i was familiar with, i went back to ph after 2 weeks of absence. I came to watch their war and just solo crashed it.

They offered to give me instant auto retired leader back or active leader if i wanted (i did felt extremely awful when i found out that krunal actually considered closing the clan when i left, we all talked him out of it) i rejoined and wanted to learn how to love Ph again.

I refused to take leader rank again and told them i want to do everything, from intro To Fa to member app. I did my intro and FA (a system which i mainly helped write) ph'a FA was a lengthy and hard one and at the end of it only those that truly put effort into it managed to pass through it, it made you want to try and by the end it would just feel natural to become full member, i pushed my mentor to help me and mentor me and i became involved but... by the time i finished FA and got accepted into full member i was exhausted.

I retired again and was again given retired leader lol (only after i finished FA 100% again) i loved ph more than the game and stayed to help them.

Fast foward 2012/eoc i stayed retired and on 07scape i became active, quit again in july for a week and then rejoined and decided to re-do FA.. During this period i became a massive massive spastic, i would flame other clans and all my friends told me i 'changed' and became an asshole. I hated myself and i hated how ph had became, from a clan that was supposed to be warring and giving members memories to cherish to a bunch of spastics and assholes that picked on new members and flamed them out and obsessing about killing an irrelevant rival clan by crashing them instead of warring them. (genesis).

Ph killed off Genesis and i decided enough was for me and quit rs for 3 months, joined AF in december and stud unit loved it. Now i want to quit gaming all together because its enough.
