  1. Once again, you have shown that you know very little about the technology we're all trying to use, yet you keep spouting this information without actually knowing it. Perhaps you should take the time to ask, or say "I think 6+2 is too little, maybe that's your problem?" instead of "6+2 is inadequate for overclocking, you need to get a different board". Which of these two statements is incorrect?
  2.
  3. The only time VRMs are not enough is;
  4.
  5. They are known bad quality.
  6. They have no cooling, or minimal cooling.
  7. They do not have the TDP requirements to handle the CPU, let alone an overclock.
  8.
  9. Otherwise, you caution them that it may not be enough, give them an expected range, and say that pushing beyond that is probably risky and they should be careful and research further before they accidentally kill something.
  10.
  11. Heck, even when I see people asking how to OC on a 3+1 Phase, I don't all out tell them "That is not enough, buy somehting else", I tell them "That board really isn't designed for overclocking. It has no VRM heatsinks at all. If you're going to overclock on it, don't expect more then a few hundred Mhz, and you may want to seriously consider looking for a different board if you plan to overclock farther then that".
  12.
  13. Notice how you're the only one who gets these kinds of responses or even responds the way you do? Maybe you should take a lesson from everyone else.
