『 ー Reina was born into a family that valued japanese traditions and they made sure that their children were educated the traditional japanese culture. Her and her sisters all learnt about tea ceremony, flower arrangement, traditional music and performing arts. However it was only Reina who was had a talent for the arts so she learnt how to play the koto and shamisen (traditional instruments), and traditional singing and dancing. But Reina was also interested in all types of music and found that she loved singing modern songs too. Her parents had thought that once she turned 15 she would go into one of the schools to become a geiko (traditional arts performer) however she was scouted by dream tea entertainment instead when she turned 13. Her parents were initially against her being an idol and sending her to korea but finally relented when she told them how much she wanted this.

『 ー As she was very constrained by all the traditional training, Reina was told to be disciplined and also didn't have a lot of time to make friends in such a cut throat environment. she can be considered quite naive as she wasn't exposed to more modern things and once she was allowed to start her training as an idol she maximised all the freedom she could get. she's very friendly, in a very puppy like way, following then around and trying her best to make them happy or please them. she's very optimistic and resilient/hard working despite the hardship that came with training because she had been used to it before. she does have some insecurity as a foreign member being unable to speak korean fluently and not having learnt traditional arts unlike the other members who would've learnt more modern dancing, singing, and music. she's a bit clumsy in both her behaviour and the way she speaks but other people find this adorable and charming in her. Reina knows about this and often tries to get her way or get out of situations by acting cute and pouting, just as any maknae of the group. she's doted on by the group and someone needs to always keep an eye on her because you'll never know what she'll end up doing or in. actually just a puppy in human form.
