We're dabbling with a GKE solution for next year, and managed GCP HA Postgresql, currently use part of GCP already such as StackDriver and no problems - but not production workloads yet. The CLI tools are better than AWS in my opinion and cloud shell is very nice for portability (like a GUI jump box).

Ensure you thoroughly test your loads (same as you would any cloud provider) before switching

Got several clients on it, very good performance, bar none the best premium network you will find.
The IO and network performance even on standard network outperforms AWS or Azure, the pricing is good, but there are some downsides. They aren't much flexible to certain changes in network etc after the fact, they go very much on a destroy and rebuild process if you did not use the right options the first time.

Did I hear somewhere that they are now starting to allow email on GCP? That was the main barrier for me.

Are there have leased Private line provider for Google Cloud at the moment ?
