  1. [19:54] {NARRATION} The group enters deep within one of the woods surrounding the region that was once Lengsel, where it’s rumored to have a group of human supremacists whose desperate measures involve blaming whatever wrong happenings have occurred recently on those with different races.
  2.
  3. They see the fires from the pyres burning on the horizon. They can practically smell the burning flesh and the scream of other beastmen, but it's worth nothing. There is one that they wish to save, a Nagual that was recently caught.
  4.
  5. Being limited to a desolate part of the forest, they often catch only the unaware travelers that accidentally step on too close. However, having kidnapped one Nagual closer to the place where the two Nagual live, they plan to burn it in a pyre along with a prized possession: A slab of what’s said to be a slab of moonrock, with Ixchel’s claw mark on it.
  6. [20:00] After months of searching, of investigating the rumors set out throughout the small Nagual community, the two finally find their location. A place where supremacist has captured different humanoid species, forcing them to simple torture and most likely even death. Though its heard that many other types of species have been captured and brought about this place, the one that struck their hearts and beliefs the most was hearing their own kind had been brought to such a place. It angered them, or at least Zabo for the most part. Having something like this, in this day and age, happen to his people! It was horrid, and something -had- to be done.
  7.
  8. As of now, the two make their way to the location, seeming to be upon the perimeter of the location and only being able to get a sense of what was going on within. He'd let out a sigh, feeling sorrow for what he could both hear and smell coming from ahead. A turn given as he glanced towards Teuicui then, giving a nod "We should scout around first yes? See and make sure we don't run into any enemies as well as possible spots where our kin is being held hm?" he looked forward again then, crossing his arms as he glanced at the smoke buildining up from within the woods.
  9.
  10. His main hope being they'd make it in time.
  11. (Zabo)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [20:08] Their searching had finally lead them up to this moment, this perhaps would have been the stories with which they would tell amongst their soon to be growing community. It's no wonder that they'd come to the aid of their kin, she knew it would likely anger Zabo and unfortunately she fell victim to the same plight, her own emotions driving her to a purpose, who'd have thought.
  15.
  16. It's not long before they've arrived at the area, the woman's fur covering her body as she made quick movements throughout the area, occasionally checking around and behind her to ensure Zabo was still there and hadn't gotten snatched away somehow.
  17.
  18. Teuicui's sunlit eyes catch a glimpse of the flames and the huge huffs of smoke that flies of from it, black and grey. A few inhales and she smells burning flesh, though she feels sorrow to an extent she knows what needs to be done, Zabo's words.
  19.
  20. An elongated claw raising to scratch at her chin.
  21.
  22. '...We Should' She looks around in a few quick glances surveying the best area.
  23.
  24. 'Where first'
  25.
  26. (Teuicui)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [20:11] {NARRATION} The duo scouts around the village, their rapid feline movements jumping from tree to tree until they can finally be able to tell that they had a decent recognition of the terrain nearby, or at the very least, what should be the focus of their attention.
  30.
  31. The whole village is formed by circularly spread houses, which at the center rests the pyre. Currently, the whole village seems to be chanting in religious tone, a chorus of voices echoing around the place as the sacrifice Nagual is brought from a distant small abbey.
  32.
  33. The screams of the Nagual are heard from far away, and there seems to be two caravans headed for the town. Unable to distinguish which one of the heavily guarded caravans to attack, each one with three or four guards present around it, the duo will have to choose which one to save.
  34. [20:17] The two quickly move, looking around and getting a basic layout of the land. It isn't up until they felt comfortable with it all that they'd stop, now to converse with each other. Sadly, that hadn't gone on for long, the screams and chanting were heard. Zabo spotting two caravans that seemed to be making their way for the center of the town. Then that meant it was a sacrifice? A ritual was to be done. He'd soon lean over to the woman, questioning her at this point as there seemed to be a variety of options for them.
  35.
  36. "Could attack there." he points at the gaurds with the caravans before continuing. "Though, back-up would come quickly wouldn't it?" he figured if the main event wasn't on schedule within such a small village things would go in an uproar rather quickly. A point is given towards the village and its circular plot, he whispering to her more then. "Would you rather move around and attack from the back rather than here at the front? We might cause a lot of attention if we attack here."
  37.
  38. He'd crouch whilst standing nimbly upon a thick tree branch then. Hand upon the hilt of his swords as he simply awaited Teuicui.
  39. (Zabo)
  40. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  41.
  42. [20:25] With quick movements they set off again, crouched low to stay out of sight from whatever eyes decided to linger too long, clinging towards the shadows, surveying the area they were able to get a proper lay of the land. The sight was nothing short of what they expected and the screams of the Nagual only further igniting the severity of the situation within her, it burns her to hear her own kind growling in pain, so much so it nearly distracts her from the caravans approaching until Zabo speaks and brings her back.
  43.
  44. He was coming up with ideas, however her mind was still stuck on the sacrifice, she turns towards the caravan, and responds to Zabo.
  45.
  46. 'Not if act quickly, and if come' the woman motions an action of looping around the village and its current inhabitants as they come from the sacrifice of the nagual to check upon the caravans, with her fingers.
  47.
  48. 'Take nagual, and hit again when spread to find'
  49.
  50. It was a far simpler plan in her mind one that was at least in the cards for them currently.
  51. (Teuicui)
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. [20:33] {NARRATION} Teuicui wants to circle the village and attack the sacrifice of the Nagual. However, in the middle of the town, perhaps they can notice something. Something much, much more different than they expected upon approaching the caravans.
  55.
  56. The screams of the Nagual came from inside one of those, one of the caravans that came from the church. The other one seemed to be rather empty, yet still guarded. But in the middle of the village, what burned was a Kitsune.
  57.
  58. They were nothing more than savages, tremendously prejudiced humans which attacked any targets they could put their sights on. Unluckily, the Nagual wasn't the only one. Perhaps they had been keeping more prisoners?
  59. [20:46] {NARRATION} The two naguals decide to attack the back caravan. A carriage, surrounded by three or four guards, quickly surprised by the ambush of the furry duo. They get off their horses and the carriage comes to a halt, whereas the other one continues.
  60.
  61. Being too close, they might be able to notice -- The screams of the nagual go farther and farther away, but this caravan was still there. It bore sacred symbols and golden patterns etched to it, and a captain of the guard bursts from the inside.
  62.
  63. "Filthy cat-people! You won't take that cat or that cursed stone back!" He wields a fiery longsword, whipping it across the air with rage, staring at both of you.
  64.
  65. Quickly, the guards take their stances. You are surrounded, and even though only one of them seems to be a prominent magi... This looks risky enough.
  66.
  67. But this for sure says something. There *is* something inside that carriage.
  68.
  69. [20:52] "That cat....?"
  70.
  71. Zabo had a unpleased look upon his face. This was actually the first time his own kind had been refered to as....That cat...It was strange. Whatever though, it seems the two had chosen the wrong caravan! Dammit. No matter, there were already people right before them, directly in front of them. If they turned and just left now it'd only cause them troubles later on, correct? Zabo decided to draw his swords, his eyes glowing as he focused upon what he could describe as his prey.
  72.
  73. "The day you brought your foolish thoughts and ideals upon the Nagual kind is the day you were destined to have your soul guided by Ixchel." his blades began to show a faint golden glow around them as he seemed to gather cosmic energy yet again! An attack he's tried plenty of times though has had no success it seems.
  74.
  75. He continues on though, lightning now crackling around his body and blades as well as he seemed ready to take on the gaurds before them. Letting out hisses as his intent seemed clear. He was not only going to attack, but feast upon the lot there as quickly as he could.
  76.
  77. Though it may have looked as if Zabo was done, he continued, suddenly having spirits conjured by his side and solely focusing their own malice towards the gaurds before them. A look given to Teuicui then "We have to be quick....The front gaurds most likely saw us." with that then he'd focus back upon the gaurds, their fight would be starting soon.
  78. (Zabo)
  79.
  80. [20:55] With an agreement being struck the woman revealed her sword, a large and heavy nyeshk blade, brandishing the weapon and allowing the inferno's to swarm all around her.
  81.
  82. 'Hit back cart, strike quickly' Once they're before the designated caravan however the screams only seem to stroll only further away, they must have gotten the wrong cart but there was no way to let these ones live, the woman licked at her lips.
  83.
  84. '....' Every time she'd been called cat it only stoked the flames that burned within her. The ones claws clenched her sword tightly, allowing her sunlit eyes to focus on the flame wielding individual, he maneuvers his weapon around perhaps as an attempt to intimidate the duo, but there was no fear to be found today.
  85.
  86. Once the area started to be filled with a few more guards the woman smiled joyously, covering herself in some mythril armor. Glad to know they'd at least get a challenge in this hellhole of a place.A potion lingered at her hip but she didn't decide whether or not to use it as yet, for now she'd merely focus on taking the big guy down.
  87. (Teuicui)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89. [21:16] {NARRATION} The fight against the Captain of the Guard and his surrounding guardsmen goes on pretty easy for the duo mostly. However, even after they manage to slash through the other guards doing pretty much whatever they please to them due to raw power, the Captain is a fearsome opponent.
  90.
  91. Most certainly, on a one-on-one any of the two would have more than likely lost. But two people against a single man, with only one sword -- It was hard. Even as his rigid armor held him tight and firmly, the man was helpless.
  92.
  93. However, it wasn't that easy of a fight. He managed to grab Zabo's leg in the middle of the fight, the claw of ifrit burning along it. His fingers clutched in tighter, smashing the leg's bones.
  94. (4 day temporary wound, -20% vitality)
  95.
  96. With that arm, he throwed Zabo away and-- He was surprised by Teuicui, being quickly finished. (She chooses how)
  97.
  98. However, one thing was still inside the carriage. The valuable part of this, beyond the nagual, which was said to be what caused them to seek that nagual specifically.
  99.
  100. A slab of moonstone.
  101.
  102. [21:27] There'd been no time for a battle plan she merely fought as she did, cleaving the back of her sword through the surrounding guardsmen, cutting them all down mercilessly to allow Zabo an easier means with which to deal with the enemy that was ever nipping at his heels.
  103.
  104. Her final swing cutting the man in half and lodging her weapon deep within his skeletal structure. Barehanded and ready to brawl she turns to face the man, chopping her nails and punching straight into the man's dense and durable armor cracking at the integrity of it but not quite breaking it. Teuicui rapidly punches at the man's jaw before attempting to cut deep into his jugular with her claws, but her attempts are spoiled, being slapped away by the Captain as he burned away at Zabo's leg before launching him through the air.
  105.
  106. The woman gritted her teeth before growling loudly.
  107.
  108. 'rRrr...!'
  109.
  110. She lunges straight for him, the captain angling his sword up in perhaps an attempt to gut her but she is no longer there, out of the man's reach and now behind him, she whispers.
  111.
  112. 'Ixchel guides.' her teeth ripping out the better half of his neck and leaving him to be a near headless soldier, he was still choking and gagging and she was still chewing on the flesh now in her mouth, her bare foot pressing against the top of his head before squishing it, denying him a proper death. She moves past the corpse and towards the carvan searching around for all that was within, seeing a few things of note but one in particular, the slab itself. Her hand stretched for it, she could almost feel a slight pulse from it, she retrieved it with haste before going to check on Zabo, they still needed to press on after all.
  113. (Teuicui)
  114. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  115.
  116. [21:27] Zabo soon moved forward with Teuicui, attacking the guard before them without much hesitation. Things, seemed to be looking up as of now, their constant onslaught towards the gaurds seeming to allow them to do plenty of damage and to hinder them as much as possible. Zabo soon went on to focusing his strength onto the single guard, the captain, that still stood then. Focusing the rest of his strength upon them as quickly as he could. They held a great deal of power, enough to take out either of them had things been a simple one on one type of fight, though it wasn't.
  117.
  118. Zabo soon found himself in a bit of a bind, the man getting far too close and because of such he found himself being caught before he could even use the power he'd been gathering. The ifrit claw wrapped around Zabo's leg, a tight burning sensation felt before he was suddenly tossed away, hitting a tree and having to deal with not only the impact pain, but the pain from his leg as well. "Gah!" he'd shout loudly as he dropped his blades, reaching down to soothe his legs by touching it somehow....It didn't help.
  119.
  120. "Dammit!" he'd shout for a moment before looking around, he couldn't be that loud, not here. More could be around, and there was still a lot more to do, he knew it. Teuicui, after finishing the man, had made her way to the caravan to grab the moon rock, Zabo only being able to stare at it from afar as he forced himself up on one leg. Had he not been a magi moving like this wasn't going to be possible. Still, it was difficult and took concentration.
  121.
  122. "T-That's....It actually is...." he felt emotional, as if tears were gathering within his eyes and his heart was swelling with joy! "It really is!" he whispered towards her with joy as he glanced at the claw marking of Ixchel upon it for a short while until hearing the voices from afar, he couldn't marvel the item for far to long. There was a lot more to do and he knew it.
  123.
  124. "I'm glad this...This is true, but there's still a lot we have to do. Ixchel wouldn't be to proud of us if we ended up just leaving now." he turned then towards the smoke that had still been rising up into the air. "We have to move, our kin may be in trouble some time soon." his leg still throbbed with pain, but he had to endure it. Complaining and such wasn't going to do anything but cause him to be an annoyance.
  125.
  126. Before going on to leaving, most likely back into the tree's so they could get a look at their next target, he'd get a look around the bodies of the few gaurds there. Taking what he wished, if even anything at all he'd want, and then continuing on with the woman. His desire to save the Nagual as well as examine the moonstone even more now growing even more. The people here were going to pay for the sins they'd performed towards Ixchel, and the two Nagual's were going to make sure of such.
  127. (Zabo)
  128. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  129.
  130. [21:38] {NARRATION} All the looting isn't really worth much. The group pillages and revels on the golds and trinkets, but after all, they aren't much better. The best things that could ever be looted are the Captain's armor and his blade, but those were too eviscerated in battle to even be salvaged.
  131.
  132. Most importantly, the slab of moonstone emitted a powerful energy, that which would be more than likely related to Ixchel himself. The claw marked upon it glowed in a blueish hue, pulsing ever so slightly as Teuicui herself felt.
  133.
  134. On the village, the men revel upon seeing one of the caravans arrive, even if it at its currently hushed pace as it struggled to free from both Naguals, the creaking wooden wheels being heard from a great distance.
  135.
  136. The Nagual arriving to the town center is immediately guided by a priest to the burning pyre. The group should try to get through the mass of citizens while it is taken to the center of town.
  137.
  138. At the very least, the beastman stopped screaming. Perhaps he accepted his fate. Perhaps he still hoped to see both saviors.
  139.
  140. [21:42] "It's starting then."
  141.
  142. He said with a bit of sorrow in his voice, knowing the two had to quickly manage a fight against these people, though, felt as if going in head-on with the villagers all there it'd be risky. A glance is given to Teuicui, he quickly talking and whispering with her at this point. "What if we use our magic? My lightning and your fire magic should be able to cause a lot of uproar even if it isn't the strongest. We could make a aim for the fire to start, and if we manage to get that destroyed, or even if not, we could target them homes from within the tree's, keeping our location hidden for the most part. It could stall them and have them disperse, yes?"
  143.
  144. It was a plan, one he'd given and simply awaited on Teuicui to hear and make her own call about it. How would she choose to go about things?
  145. (Zabo)
  146. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  147.
  148. [21:46] At the time she hadn't paid the item much more than a glance to know what it was, she more so needed to make sure Zabo was okay, however it seemed once his gaze was cast upon the moonrock he had felt better than when he came, his eyes glow and his smile was as happy as she remembers from when he was younger.
  149.
  150. 'It is' she holds it In her hands momentarily, she could feel as something emanated from it, nothing that she'd ever encountered even archons hadn't sent off waves like this, this energy was something far different, giving it a proper look up and down however she noticed the claw mark that had been a blue tinge resting firmly upon it. Her ears flicker up as the caravan reaching the village wooden wheels creaking she turned to Zabo then. They needed a strategy but all she could think to do was charge in to the aid of their kin, Zabo's idea, and it hadn't been a bad one, dividing and conquering in hopes to ascertain victory she could only hope such efforts would work. The woman nods her head as if agreeing to make an attempt, she was fairly potent in her magic so causing destruction amongst wooden structures shouldn't be too much of an issue.
  151.
  152. Teuicui prepared herself and found herself a few of the high trees to take advantage from.
  153.
  154. 'Ready?'
  155. (Teuicui)
  156. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  157.
  158. [21:55] {NARRATION} The group proceeds to strike towards the houses. They quickly analyze the location and spot a few huts on the outskirts of the town. Even if it's basically a clearing with huts in there, it's almost completely empty, save for a few people who are still there.
  159.
  160. You can notice that this part of town is probably the easiest to burn and destroy quickly, and it will make a much bigger fire than the one down in the middle. However, that part is also filled with people which seem to be outcasts from that village, but at least the place was distant. It'd mean a lot more time with the villagers distracted.
  161.
  162. But mostly, the circular pattern of the village maintains itself. It has got more or less ten stone houses with wooden logs to hold them up, all disposed in a wide circle around a circular grass patch. In the middle, where all the houses' stone paths that lead to their entrance culminate in a single spot.
  163.
  164. The center of the village. Where a big pyre burned. And to where the Nagual was dragged.
  165.
  166. Time was running out.
  167. [22:02] Teuicui seemed to be on bored, things were looking good for the most part then. "Great." he'd give a nod then before focusing upon the further huts on the outter parts of town now. "I will use my magic to focus there." he gives a point to them. "With lightning magic, pinpointing our location won't be as easy unless they have some skilled magi who's good at such things." he begins to look around more, the stone houses were a bit to far above their magical powers, though there was hope. The wooden logs holding up the houses seemed flammable enough for the most part, meaning it could be another way for them to actually cause a distraction, or something better...
  168.
  169. "See the wood there. It's holding up the homes. Our best bet as of now is to, first, use lightning magic to destroy the huts upon the outskirts. Once we see a number of them go to check it out, I want you to use your fire magic upon logs you see there." he'd give another point then to the stone houses, focusing on the wood solely. "I've no idea how strong your wind magic is either, from this range at least, but if you can calm that flame with it, quickly, then give it a go. If not, after you set flames to the wood we have to make our move....Our kin is nearing the fire..."
  170.
  171. He placed his hand back upon one of the blades then, still holding himself up on one leg as of now, having to still endure the pain of his broken one. He now awaited her. Once she gave the approval and what not, or made any types of changes to the plan she saw fit, the two could actually begin then.
  172. (Zabo)
  173. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  174.
  175. [22:13] She looked out from atop the tree eyes surveying the area before finding a culmination of huts a little ways outside of the area, the thatch and other material that was used was sure to burn nicely especially with both of their 'weak' magical abilities. She follows his fingers as he points to the village stating where his magic will be directed, sensible given it wouldn't be as easy for lightning to burn brilliantly without such easily burnable material. While he explained it seemed both their attentions had been drawn to the stacks of lumber conveniently leaned up against some of the homes to offer balance, how unfortunate for them.
  176.
  177. Teuicui listens to his plan in order before going it over in her head, burning down the huts to cause some form of distraction, once some of them have split up her attention will be focused on the houses structures to burn those down as well, all around these purists would have been nothing but constant fires for them to out, but it would present a clever guise for the nagual. After that was done she was to use her wind magic to out the pyres flames, she was confident that she could do it, her use of wind may have been limited but she was certain she could conjure at least one mighty gust to out the flames of the pyre.
  178.
  179. 'Will save them' the woman nods her head in order to assure Zabo. She's still ready for combat so all she awaits now is the burning of those huts before the show will begin.
  180. (Teuicui)
  181. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  182.
  183. [22:19] He starts then, quickly he begins with conjuring lightning magic within his hand, a sudden bolt thrown up into the skies above. There's a change in the atmosphere, if even only small, and soon the gaurds and what not find themselves in an odd situation. Without hesitation, Zabo begins their plan, suddenly sending a total of five thunderbolts down from the sky upon the huts upon the outskirts of the town. This, he hoped, set flames to the huts and caused a distraction. This was hopefully to be used for leading other gaurds and such away from the area to check upon what happened as well as halting the man dragging the nagual, if for only a little while. (Stopping the timer/adding more time?)
  184.
  185. A look is given to Teuicui then. "Start now, first with the wood, and after the fire. Then we'll make our appearance and attack, swiftly." it was odd giving her orders, though...such was done.
  186. (Zabo)
  187. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  188.
  189. [22:26] {NARRATION} The guards were distracted. The village's people were distracted. The priest which dragged the nagual closer and closer to the burning pyre halted for a single instant, looking back at the burning huts.
  190.
  191. People from inside those ran out, their bodies caught on fire. They rolled around on the ground, trying to put it out, only for it to be worth nothing. Mostly, the people in there slowly started dying, running towards the woods, towards the village, or just running in circles.
  192.
  193. Desperate people. Their very homes catching on fire. Some children cried. All of this, due to a single Nagual who decided to put those on fire. Even as the village's people ran towards it, to help their own fellow villagers...
  194.
  195. ... The priest continued onwards.
  196.
  197. You were already at a great distance.
  198.
  199. Time was, indeed, running out.
  200.
  201. [22:33] The woman watched all the commotion and with her keen eyes noticing the priests movements she unleashed reigns of flame upon the wooden logs near the building, balls of fire, and at times culminating into waves to burn and destroy the buildings and logs that were near, the structures likely falling and causing everything within that vicinity to slowly catch on fire, the woman motions to Zabo for him to move she charges towards the pyre heavy gusts of winds carrying the woman at great speeds, with the pyre in distance she used as much of the mana that she could to summon winds, travelled as they might to out the flames, however regardless of if she did or not she'd been there and Zabo was likely shortly behind.
  202.
  203. Their distractions would hopefully be enough to have delayed the culling long enough, the woman held her sword eyeing the area the nagual was around, moving more towards it.
  204. (Teuicui)
  205. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  206.
  207. [22:42] {NARRATION} Teuicui took the only time that was left to save the nagual. He had been thrown towards the pyre, and Teuicui's blast of wind came a few short seconds after. However, even if the buildings outside crumbled as she moved on her way towards the inside...
  208.
  209. ... It wasn't enough. The fire spread, but the priest was able to overcome it. A movement of his hands came, as the fire that spread was quickly thrown back towards the burning nagual.
  210.
  211. The flames took on a yellow tone, possessed by holy magic now. It was all getting worse. It burned at the Nagual's skin, probably too bad of a magi to stop himself for that long.
  212.
  213. And on top of that, even with Zabo shortly behind, she felt it to her bones.
  214.
  215. She rushed in alone.
  216.
  217. The priest reacted too fast.
  218.
  219. She had to take him by herself if she wanted to do something.
  220.
  221. The priest's flames echoed around him, spreading around the ground with their yellow tone. It was instantly going against Teuicui's very fire magic. Something was clear -- She had to make her forces to stall him.
  222.
  223. At least, until Zabo arrived. At least, to stop the sacrificed nagual from dying.
  224. [22:54] The woman popped the cork off the bottle, the flames that ignited around the man were nothing short of horrendous and detrimental if gotten near to, just being near the man had caused even her as a fire magi to sweat under the sheer potency of the man's magic.
  225.
  226. That was followed up by his attacks, fire burning away at the woman easily but only pushing her, she couldn't go down this easily, finding an opening within the flames to slam her sword into his side, she heaved with a bit of tired in her before groaning.
  227.
  228. 'Man will die.. Man will die for what has done' She brought her sword back towards her ready to strike at her foe again.
  229. (Teuicui)
  230. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  231.
  232. [22:58] He was late!
  233.
  234. Teuicui already ran in, attacking the priest as he seemed to be quicker in reaction time than both of them had thought. "Teuicui no!" he shouted, sadly not being able to catch up to her, though it seems she was able to hold her own for the most part. Still, the priest stood, and he knew there was more to come. He quickly lifted his blade, cosmic magic once more chagrining within it. This time he planned on doing a quick go, bringing it in and unleashing it rapidly rather than having it stay stored as a final attack.
  235.
  236. "Go now!" he shouted, spirits once more being conjured and rushing towards the priest as lightning seemed to zap down at and around the priest as well. The fighting was starting yet again. "Ixchel -will- be pleased by your death." he threatens, growing closer as he the fighting continues.
  237. (Zabo)
  238. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  239.
  240. [23:00] {NARRATION} Teuicui's flames managed to beat against the man. However, it was more than clear that he was perhaps holding back. That he could do better, it was clear. And yet... She continued striking at him.
  241.
  242. She was lucky, this much was clear. And now, at the ongoing battle, arrived Zabo, as the hostage Nagual still burned. However, Teuicui's victory managed to stall the progress there, for at least a few moments.
  243.
  244. He merely looked up, a scowl formed on his face. "What have you done?! You'll condemn us ALL!" He stood up, taking a backstep. His flames echoed further, and he pointed towards the burning village. "VILLAGERS! COME BACK. AID YOUR PRIEST!"
  245.
  246. Even as they heard him, even as many stayed back to help contain the fire... A lot of them turned back to help him. At least this left them with a comfortable time window, except for the burning nagual.
  247. [23:26] {NARRATION} The Priest manages to fare way better against these two. Perhaps motivated by his own will to live, perhaps his righteous fury was worth something, but overall, the priest managed to defeat both of the fighters.
  248.
  249. The endless torment of flames lashed out on Teuicui, striking at her with severe force, burning against her fur, temporarily exposing sensitive and also burned skin, with a yellowish glow particular to holy magic, and it was more concentrated over her head.
  250. (4 day temp, -20% for the time)
  251.
  252. However, Zabo suffers from the same but to a much, much worse degree. His own skin is burned, but it's much worse than Teuicui's, even if what suffered is his arm. It is completely charred, suffering through the endless torment of holy flames.
  253. (-20 vit for life)
  254.
  255. However, even as the villagers are still far away, both of the naguals feel themselves stronger... As the life of the Nagual on the pyre finally passes away, a faint blue glow is seen from the inside of the wooden pillar.
  256.
  257. And that same blue glow is replicated at the slab of moonstone, filling the Naguals with renewed vigor. The children of Ixchel were harmed. The same blue force strikes against the priest...
  258.
  259. ... Forcing him to back down, and robbing him of some of his power.
  260.
  261. Perhaps this was the time to strike again. Or this was the time to finally run away with the little that you had.
  262.
  263. The hostage was already dead, anyway.
  264.
  265. [23:42] Zabo quickly charged forward, blade and claws digging into the priest skin whenever he had the possibility of allowing such a thing to happen. He did his best to fight along side Teuicui in these moments, attacking however he could and continuing the onslaught until the man had actually fallen onto the ground. Sadly, that wasn't enough. He soon found himself being pushed back, blood falling from him and all. He hoped the only blood he'd see is that from the priest and other villagers, though, but it was starting to slow him down. Blood loss, how beaten he'd become.
  266.
  267. It wasn't long until his own fatigue had caught up to him, slowing him down a bit to much in this moment and causing him to succumb to the priest attack, a fiery blow landing directly at Zabo's arm, doing more damage than most fire magi. He'd fallen back, hitting the ground and having to endure the scenery of Teuicui also being beaten back, it was....in a light way of saying it, atragedy. Still, a sudden blue light, just as from the moonstone, had suddenly began to glow, forcing its way down upon the priest and completely destroying them in mere moments.
  268.
  269. If only for a moment, the pain had subsided, and Zabo could only stare now at this pillar along with the burned Nagual. They failed...
  270.
  271. "S-Sorry, Ixchel..." he began to feel pity for himself it seemed. "I've failed you....I allowed our own kind to die here right in front of me, and now....Now even this!" he said in anger as he stared at the sky now, eyes focusing upon the moon. He looked up, staring at the more, weaker, though still alive and able'd priest before them.
  272.
  273. Anger swelled within his eyes, even tears seen. Never had a prey been so...strong and defense-able against a predator, especially two! Zabo couldn't hold both swords anymore sadly, he had to deal with just one along with his broken leg. Slowly, he'd stand, blood dripping from his arm and other opened wounds of his body. "It's because of you!" he shouted.
  274.
  275. "Ixchel's light has damned you....And it is for good reason..." he says slowly, stumbling a bit as he forced himself to stay up on his feet. "I will not....I cannot leave...When someone Ixchel has personally chosen is right here!" it seems he spoke to Teuicui there, and seemed ready to go in yet again. Could he actually do it...? Even in his horrid state!? Could they do it even though being so beaten?
  276.
  277. If it was Ixchel's will...
  278. (Zabo)
  279. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  280.
  281. [00:00] This priest was abnormally strong, his command over fire magic was felt with each cold and calculative ball of fire that was sent her way, or even as every inch of the area they stood in began to be set ablaze from this man, her abilities to evade could only do so much, trying as she might to charge in towards the priest, her blade slicing through his skin, lunging her claws into his shoulder to reel around to slash at the back of his neck, though that had been a short lived venture, as the flames from around him had began to drive the girl away.
  282.
  283. It was too late however, her eyes now catching a glimpse of the priest unleashing a fiery flurry towards Zabo, clutching the man's head as he burned him as if branding a mark into him, the woman winced as the priest set his sights on her, he made quick movements towards her but with a quick throw of her sword and hurling herself in after she was able to slash her claws at his chest, not letting up for a moment despite the horrid burns she'd been receiving she had to be, relentless, if she wanted to pull out the victory, unfortunately the sweeps from her claws were not enough, the intensity of the flames dying down her stamina and preventing her quick movements. The priest gripped her head too the fire magi was surprisingly quick, as he attempted to attempt a similar brand on the woman, she lunged her foot into the man's chest knocking him back and only receiving a potent burn but nothing close to what Zabo got.
  284.
  285. On her feet she heaved, exhausted she looked towards the burning pyre only to see the nagual they'd been trying to save he'd become ash... but something important poked its head from the ashes a blue light flickered from the interior of the fire, burned and wounded her eyes cast themselves firmly on the glow before feeling the slab in her pocket pulsate this time at a much higher frequency and rate, she felt somehow... reassured like somehow despite these injuries their god would not have allowed them to falter here and with her now being so close to Zabo there was no doubt he was able to feel its power. She breathed deeply, she positioned herself on all fours, deeming this man's death as another sign from Ixchel, he was chosen...
  286.
  287. 'Will not fail Ixchel's will' her tailed motioned through the air ever so slightly and while she hadn't checked Zabo's injury's with his already ready to fight she was most certainly going to be as well.
  288. (Teuicui)
  289. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  290.
  291. [00:23] {NARRATION} The Priest fought back, even if his strength was drained. Even if the claw mark itself drained him and transferred his own power to them, he was more than clearly able to fight back, making enough time for the villagers to come closer.
  292.
  293. And they tried to walk closer, his flames saving them from the endless strikes, while Teuicui and Zabo striked mercilessly at the priest and everyone who dared to join in on this.
  294.
  295. And soon enough, Teuicui managed to kill the priest. (How, you choose)
  296.
  297. And with that, his soul passed. His life was ebbing away from him at each passing moment, until at the end... It was notable. The same blueish hue, a floating stream of something towards the pillar of wood at the center of the burning pyre, its fire now extinguished.
  298.
  299. There laid the remains of endless beastmen. Ookamis, Kitsunes and Naguals alike suffered from this horrid fate, burning within this very spot. And yet, they weren't nearly done.
  300.
  301. The raging crowd of non-magi surrounding them had every intent to put them down, even if they could barely stop them from escaping.
  302. [00:26] {NARRATION} However, the fight did leave them both scarred enough to consider running away, even. Teuicui's burn was done yet again, however this time it scarred through her leg -- It suffered from horrible burns, her skin scarred while the red skin was exposed. Thankfully, a tangential blow.
  303. (-20% vit for 1 day)
  304.
  305. Zabo had the same luck. His own face was striked with endless fire, burning along with his whole body. This put him in a hardly bent shape, however... Nothing that Lax and time couldn't handle.
  306. (-20% vit for 4 days)
  307.
  308. [00:43] The woman was not going to stop, for each blazing wave of fire that escaped the priests grasp she met him with claws sharper than any steel made by man. She slashed and raked away at him, at his chest, aiming for the crucial and life ending spots she couldn't feel the weight of her injuries only her devotion Ixchel, that was all that had been getting her through it all, even now, even as the near endless torrents of flames lashed out at both Teuicui and Zabo she continued to press on.
  309.
  310. The priest was not without his own tricks however, releasing an explosion of holy fire magic burning away at them, despite Teuicui's closeness to the blast radius ,however, she was still relentless and barely unaffected by his seemingly final attack, perhaps her own prowess in fire magic had staved off some of the attacks potency. Nevertheless it left the man quite drained and with the priest hunched over tired she wasted no opportunity, charging for the man, villagers of all kind running to their priests aid but they were nothing but morsels to a beast.
  311.
  312. The woman reeled her hand back clawing her way through the crowd of flesh hacking away at them as though nothing more than lambs at the slaughter before encroaching upon the priest, faint fire embers shot out from around him, her sunlit eyes matching the colors, he extended his hand towards her, with one swift movement her hand moves and her claws lop his arm off at the elbow region, she doesn't know if he's begging for his life or perhaps even he could feel the pulse from the slab, nevertheless she doesn't care, his groan in pain does not sate her however, she does not feel repaid for the loss of life suffered. She picks him up her claws wrapped around his throat, allowing the nails from her right hand to slowly pierce through his neck, listening to him choke on the sound of his own blood, his eyes rolling into the back of his head and his body slowly beginning to feel more and more corpselike. The woman retrieved her claws from his throat allowing the priest to barely stand consciously, the final words he'd here from the beasts he tried so hard to extinguish.
  313.
  314. 'When meet Ixchel...Tell, his most faithful sent you'
  315.
  316. Her jaws opened widely almost as if unhinging, latching unto the priest's throat, not just the half but the whole thing, a dismembered head rolling at her feet before she allows the body of the priest to be interrupted.
  317.
  318. 'Dare... interrupt feast, will suffer same fate as man'
  319.
  320. The woman's eyes are dead set on the remainder of the villagers and it's clear she's about to open each one of them up and raze this village completely she knew Zabo would be for the idea, and as she licked the blood of their fallen priests from her paws she had to wonder if they were truly stupid enough to follow in his footsteps.
  321. (Teuicui)
  322. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  323.
  324. [00:45] {NARRATION} The whole village yelled in rage as Teuicui finally said the last words that they all needed to hear. The torches, pitchforks and clubs raised up to the air as the hordes of non-magi stepped forwards and towards them.
  325.
  326. They dared to defy them. Even if they were magi, there were about a hundred or so non-magi there. A very precise strategy was needed on this case, at the very least, to be able to defeat all those.
  327.
  328. [00:53] The roared on still, Zabo and Teuicui doing their best to fight against the magi without much fail, though, as before, he once more is victim to the attacks. Suddenly, he's brought down, flames bursting away at his face, scarring him if only a bit and sending him to the ground. He huffed and breathed heavily upon the ground whilst Teuicui finished the job, his only problem as of now being the non-magi that were appearing. He breathed heavily, sitting there upon the ground as Teuicui feasted upon the priest, he could only give a small smirk at such an accomplishment being finished. "W-Well done." he'd say tiredly before looking over at his surroundings, the many that were now around the two of them, both having already gone through so many battles. Even if they were non-magi, their numbers is what gave them their current strength.
  329.
  330. He'd attempt to stand, though he hadn't the strength, not right now when he wasn't even fighting. He merely moved onto his knee's, blood dripping from his arm still and he seeming more and more fatigued by the second. He was feeling the need to leave, to simply go elsewhere at this point, though, Teuicui spoke, and such brought the fire back into the Nagual.
  331.
  332. "They've interrupted nothing, Teuicui." he suddenly says, talking loudly as to allow all of those around to hear. "These people too....They who supported this, who watched and chanted for it, who awaited the days until this very moment." A glance was given to the charred Nagual body, he winced in anger. "They too were marked, they too shall realize their destinies. Ixchel will guide their souls." with that, he took his blade, slowly rising up, lightning magic steadily crackling around him.
  333.
  334. Still, big talk wasn't much of a plan, they needed something to do, and quickly! "T-Teuicui...." he began to call to her now, keeping his voice low a bit so the non-magi hadn'tcaught on to the plan apparently. "If...If you can create a wave of flames.....Do it. In any direction..." she was no spiritual magi fighter, so the flames she created wasn't going to be all-mighty and scorching all the lands, sure, but she could still make enough to stop a few in an instance before they charged, right?
  335.
  336. "I will...Do my best as well..." he said in a huff, soon after even using his own lightning magic in order to cause random strikes around the two, focusing on where the non-magi had been though. How many would be hit was unknown to even Zabo. This entire strategy was simply to lessen the numbers before the non-magi actually charged forward and began their attack. Something to at least help the two naguals out.
  337. (Zabo)
  338. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  339.
  340. [01:03] Despite their overwhelming numbers and her and Zabo's mounting injuries, she found herself standing with a sense of pride, labored breathing and heavy bits of burn marks along her skin, she was not in the best of conditions but her years of being in the Atl had taught her long ago that injuries were nothing the real strength came from within the fighter.
  341.
  342. Blood trickled from Zabo as he spoke trying to formulate a plan in the heat of the moment, the blood trickling from him and it was becoming apparent that he wasn't going to last much longer either. He wanted her to create a wave of fire to damage some of the villagers but that would only do so much for so little, they needed something else... They needed a saf...
  343.
  344. 'House...' the woman mumbled under her breath, shifting her attention around and trying to find the loose buildings, the rocks were still falling from them and with the rumbling from the fight with the priest they seemed to only need one final push.
  345.
  346. The flames that danced around the woman swarmed in her palms, while Zabo shot bolts of electricity at them she blitzed a series of fireballs some far larger than the other and the waves of fire that collided with the building had certainly rocked it enough, she smirked a little as the confident villagers likely laughed at the woman's misfire. They would have certainly been surprised by the mass chunks of rock and build material that would be falling upon them, hopefully thinning the herd enough or for that matter fully.
  347. (Teuicui)
  348. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  349.
  350. [01:08] {NARRATION} The destruction and crumbling of houses is barely enough to make the villagers back out. However, even if they mostly do that, this stops at least the reinforcements from coming, with a sizeable portion being crushed under the stones that befell on their heads, reduced to nothing but a gory mess of blood and meat.
  351.
  352. What remained were only a few non-magi, scared to hell. Most of these began to run away, while a few remained behind to save the others from a much worse fate. Almost as if presenting themselves as sacrifices.
  353.
  354. But now, at the very least, they wouldn't attack you. The duo was free to do whatever they wanted, the extinguished pyre right at their side.
  355. [01:20] With them still a bit back and the stones reigning down the woman smiles, as each hunk of solid stone practically levelled their small army into nothing but scattering ants, the few that wanted to leave were left to, cowards had no place in fillings Ixchel's stomach. However, the remaining brave ones, the ones who attempted to pull the mangled corpses of their friends from the stone piled up atop of them, they were a fitting meal for their God, and certainly would make as an appeasing sacrifice.
  356.
  357. Her tongue licked at her lips as she watched some of them with their backs turned towards Zabo and Teuicui, the fools, had they thought these two to have kindness in their heart? Were they to merely allow lives to be saved, lives that have spilled the blood of their people on who knows how many occasions.
  358.
  359. 'No...'
  360.
  361. She was going to ensure that all that was left was piles of torn out entrails and blood smatters over loose stone, and the corpses of all those who deemed what happened here as right, all of them would find themselves in Ixchel's graces on this night, and what a beautiful night it was, the woman took a moment to inhale as her eyes met up with the moon, a gift from their God, showing that he was always with them even when things had seemed most dark.
  362.
  363. She would likely now use what little bits of mana she could to conjure flames towards the rubble and those underneath, preventing any assistance and perhaps catching a few of the remaining non magi with some of the shots as well, it was merely a warmup for the rest of them to be greeted with their demise.
  364. (Teuicui)
  365. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  366.
  367. [01:21] Zabo watched, the gang of non-magi soon finding their way underneath the stone, zapped by magic, and burned. Those lucky enough to flee did just that, and had Zabo had both of his legs actually working he'd go chasing after them. Sadly, he didn't. He began to lower himself back onto the ground, breathing heavily still as he had to endure the pain for some time longer. It was hard to do no doubt, but at aleast all of this wasn't for nothing. He looked towards Teuicui first.
  368.
  369. "This is....Ixchel's will." he said before suddenly jabbing his blade back into the ground, forcing himself up onto his feet once again. It was more than a struggle these two had been through, this was damn near hell. Still, for Ixchel, it had been worth it. He'd soon make his way over to the Nagual who'd been burnt already, saving him was something that seemed out of their reach...sad. "I'm....I'm sorry." he suddenly said as he now hovered over the dead Nagual, feeling somewhat sorrowful for their death, though Teuicui had been his teacher...He understood a Nagual's death.
  370.
  371. "May Ixchel guide you, kin." and with that, he'd turn, a glance given to the small few that still stayed around before he'd focus back upon the pillar. A shout given to the few non-magi that were still around. "THIS is over!" he exclaimed, lightning soon seen gathering at his hand which he could hardly hold up to focus upon the pillar.
  372.
  373. "No more of Ixchel's blessed one's will be placed here, no longer will -this- continue to go on. This is not only the end of the torture and pain you've caused our people...." he huffed a bit more, stumbling even as it seems he was in great pain from the amount of injuries he sustained, still he continued. "It is the rise of Naguals. Ixchel's blessed shall rise from the shadow's and place Ixchel's will upon the lands, wanted or not!" with that, a sudden bolt of lightning would go for the pillar, hoping to break it in half, causing it to tip over.
  374.
  375. Whatever it had been, it was no Ixchel blessed item or something of that sort. Was it gathering souls? Why did it suddenly glow when the Nagual had died, what purpose did the pillar have? Either way, Zabo did not like it, and if the pillar was storing souls rather than allowing Ixchel to do his own deed with them, it had to be destroyed. After it was destroyed, if Zabo was able to, he would move, going to sit down now in order to rest.
  376. (Zabo)
  377. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  378.
  379. [01:31] {NARRATION} Teuicui quickly culled the remaining numbers, even if her mana effort was made to kill those who were already dead. Perhaps such was her hatred, that she thought of it necessary of being done again and again.
  380.
  381. However, while she did that... Zabo focused on the pillar, who drained the souls of the nearby magi. Those powerful enough to attract the attention of a gem, briefly exposed in its glowing blue color as Zabo's lightning parted through it, stored inside the pillar.
  382.
  383. However, Zabo's attitude was of no use. The gem was quickly ripped afterwards, too conductive to stay together. With it, the souls were released, and finally they had come to the final results of the night.
  384.
  385. The brittle moonstone still glowed as the purist's blood swarmed over it, draining it slightly. And as the pillar released the souls, the moonstone enforced their departure.
  386.
  387. And besides that, the few gold and trinkets that they could find. But most importantly, what they left behind was a lasting message. A village, bathed in blood and turned to rubble, witness to the might of the Naguals, who reveled in such battle.
  388.
  389. Even so... That moonstone was powerful. It filled any nagual with courage and the strength of Ixchel, but its power seemed to be diminishing, each time falling down closer to rubble.
  390.
  391. Now, all they had left to do was go back.
