- GaoGaiGar
- Seeing as how the titular mech of the anime is based around a lion, obvious choice would be Pyroar.
- Soldato-J
- In the case of Soldato-J, I feel that Bisharp would be a good fit for this character for the simple fact that at times he can be a bit of a villian as well as a hero.
- King J-Der
- As for King J-Der, the mecha of Soldato-J, I needed a pokemon that was tanky as all get out, without the use of a legendary. Looking at Aggron/M the design itself almost looks like J-Der, if said mech were a steel lizard.
- Mic Sounders the 13th
- Now this one was a tough choice, as there are only a couple of sound-based mons, those being Seismitoad, Exploud and Noivern, for this though I chose Noivern purely out of favoritism
- Mamoru Amami
- Honestly with Mamoru's story, last of his race superman sort of thing, I really wasnt sure what I wanted to choose for him, so I literally flipped a coin to decide, so like Mamoru this is a healer
- Gai Shishioh
- For Gai, since I was using Bisharp for Soldato-J, I needed another humanoid to represent the cyborg core of GaoGaiGar. Thats the only reasoning I have for Gallade.
- GekiRyuJin
- For this one(Torterra), its literally a choice based on specifically what he is both in tools and literally color. This character like ChoRyuJin, is literally two robots, Rairyu and Fuuryu combined into one. One becomes a green cement mixer that fires missles, the other is a yellow Dump truck
- ChoRyuJin
- Honestly for lack of other characters to use, ChoRyuJin is gonna be Volcanion, for the simple fact of its two robots, HyoRyu and EnRyu. One changes into a fire truck. The other changes into a mobile crane, that fires freezing blasts. Simple as that
