- Fluff: Mars and Earth, once thought of as eternal enemies who would be at war forever. But the last great Earth and Martian war nearly ended that with a bang.
- Two alliances fought each other visciously, as Empires fought Empires, entire solar systems demolished, and it almost happened and many on both sides wondered if it would only end with the complete annihilation of both sides.
- That was until another enemy arrived, one far worse than either and far more dangerous than either could have dreamt of in their worse nightmares. Rather than continue the struggle while a monster ate them both, capitalizing on the universal proverb 'the Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend' both sides made peace and united against this common enemy, driving it back.
- Now Earth and Mars stand on a tepid but strict peace. Optomists call it the starting of a beautiful relationship between the blue and red planet that will lead to utopia, pessimists simply both sides licking their wounds and biding their time, whatever the matter both sides do NOT want another war at all costs, and quickly exterminate any reasons to.
- To that end, a sort of cultural exchange program has been established. And that is why a very grumpy Uilyon Zee has to deal with a very snappy Human female on his ship. In order to promote peace, both sides have installed officers and liasons as permanent residents of the others vessels. Call them watchmen, spies, hostages or whatever you want. Xarlox it a "bitch", aka Agent Irene of Earth who now resides in his vessel. He's made it clear that if war ever breaks out he'll probe every inch of her body, and she likewise states she'll take joy in popping that big brain of his.
- As for his ship, the Uilyon Zee is a standard Martian Frigate, a flying saucer armed with durasteel plating, disintegrator lances, and engines. Alone its neither exceptional nor particularly suited to any task, but Martian vessels excell at modular upgrade capability and what on earth would be called 'Jurry rigging'. Give a Martian any amount of salvaged resources or tech and they'll do wonders with it. To that end, Martian vessels upgrade themselves based on the current needs, more offensive capability for combat vessels, stronger engines for scouts, better cargo hulls for transport, etc.
- Captain Xarlox I-74 is genetically identical to any of the other 200 martian clones. But as the first and oldest he has the most experience and thus he is captain.
- Currently, the mission of the Uilyon Zee is to exterminate any remnants of the 'Other' enemy, to burn all pods and seeds and tendrils and eradicate any contamination.
