Why i enjoyed Pokemon colosseum and XD speedruns

I enjoyed the idea of adapting on the fly with no idea what to do and no full game plan ahead of time like most pokemon runners. I enjoyed making decisions that could either be good, a lucky outcome, or really dreading to the run. It made the game of chance more fun for me. Which is why manip is something i disliked for a long period of time. Because it cuts some of that out. This will connect to other games and topics later on. But lets touch on colosseum and xd for now. It was about getting a time i was happy with not a top 10 time or whatever but a goal i set and wanted to complete using no routes just my knowledge of the game. rather then just planning ahead of time i loved using my wits and do things like RPG survival know what is good by making either a half assed on the fly route as i went with knowledge of the game rather then numbers and damage ranges because for me that's boring nerd stupid boring full of stupidity i come to speedrun not give the viewers a lecture on ranges of damage damn if i wanted that i'd play pokemon showdown and try hard there instead. i did this for fun rather then it be a harmful experience for me. but know with all the manip and people asking me during runs why don't you use "manip"? i say just cause i like doing it how i always done things it's not always pleasing to a community with a high general very knowledgeable audience and runners for an excuse like that so i isolated myself from these games community because i felt too stupid to be a part of it. i can't keep giving the same answer i'll not learn manip because i don't like it they'd just laugh at me. but i'll speedrun XD but i'll be using a preset file with the file saved asap with a 1:36 using a preset eevee for each eevee or eevee i do a run with so example being 5 eevees will be 8 minutes starting the timer point and 1 eevee will be 1:36. the issue with the game i fucking love colosseum that isn't possible so 0 snags is my only option. since i know the game super well i can get up to the last fight pretty easy. hope you read this to it's entirety. thank you all.
