Still writing

For those that care, im still (occasionally) working on this. The end of this thing is long past overdue, hell, the 2014 season is about to start and this story is based off of the 2012 cars. Fuck.
Anyway, Here is a snippet of a future chapter, just to show I'm still doing this thing.

>The visibility is down. Way down. Its possible that this is the worst rainstorm Ponyville has seen in almost a decade. The final practice session of the season is just about to begin. Rainbow Dash, looking outside the garage with nervous anticipation, starts to get ready.
>"I don't have a good feeling about this." Twilight says, looking at the radar. "This storm isn't going to let up until an hour after the session ends."
>"Sounds right on schedule to me." Rainbow replies.
>"Of course." Twilight retorts. Remembering Dash's earlier profession.
>The session start horn blares down pit lane. "Fire her up boys!" Rainbow orders to the pit crew. The sound of other machines coming to life echoes through the soaked paddock.

>*"Just a few more laps and I'll be ready for qualifying."* Dash says through the radio.
>Twilight replies with this. "Be careful rainbow, visibility will effectively be zero if you're behind another vehicle."
>*"Nothing I haven't experienced before. Don't worry, I'll be fine."*

>*Maybe going this fast wasn't such a good idea* Rainbow thinks to herself as she begins to catch up to a couple of drivers turning into Curva Parabolica. *Eh, I need to get past them.*
>She eases the light and powerful machine through the turn avoiding the urge to gun the throttle. The full wet tires displacing as much water as they can to provide grip.
>Dash shifts higher through the gears speeding down the front straight away, catching up to the drivers in front of her. Octavia and Soarin to be exact.
>Visibility gets worse the further Rainbow ventures into the rooster tails left behind by the cars ahead.
>It's at this moment that her past nightmare, the one she has tried to forget, surges through her mind.

>Visions of her being thrown into the air after wheel to wheel contact, tumbling across the ground, soaked in fuel.

>Spooked, Rainbow lets off the throttle halfway down the straight and eases her car off the racing line.
>*"Something wrong with the car Rainbow?*" Twilight inquires. Dash gives no response. She is shaking so bad in her seat, she cant even think straight.
