  1. [22:31] With all the preparations made and every person in their place, Revan would begin what would finally be the end to Dun Task's life work. Behind him would be a large structure draped in a white cloth, bringing it down the Overlord would expose a massive silver ring that had an ethereal sheen to it. A top it sat two mechanical cores that any Artificer worth their salt would recognize as the handiwork of Barsburg.
  2.
  3. Turning to everyone present, Revan would extend his hand to Artemis. "The gauntlet, please." And assuming she would hand it over, it would be affixed on his right hand, his fingers flexing rhythmically as the object of his childhood desire returns to him.
  4.
  5. Then looking to the Philanthropic Dwarf, the gauntlet would be extended, palm down to expose the empty socket where the final gem would need to be placed.
  6.
  7. "Urist, place the final crystal, and I will begin flowing energy through them and attuning them to their respective realms.. I'm going to do them one at a time.. And I will need assistance from someone of each element to help me channel.. Earth for Terraheim.. Fire for Ifraheim.. And Water for Uraheim.. Finally, Stavros.. I will need your studies of riftmancy to bind it with the energies of Helheim- and that will be what opens it all... However, I will still need a lot of energy to stabilize the portal once it is made because- well.. This isn't going to be gentle.. And it's going to take some work to force it to settle.."
  8.
  9. Golden hues would glance around to everyone present, wondering if they would be ready to commence once everything had been outlined.
  10. (Revan orn Task)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12. [22:34] For the time being, her part to play is relatively minor. She'd been safeguarding the gauntlet, as any good gatekeeper should, it removes it out from her cloak.
  13.
  14. The grisly final project of the late Dun Task, their father, shines coldly in the dim factory light.
  15.
  16. Artemis renders it over unto Revan for him to finish what they'd started. It is only fitting, only poetic, before she takes up her newfound duty.
  17.
  18. She casts a thin lipped smile over to the Razuka as it becomes his turn to shine and put to use his most recent studies. There are a few softly whispered words of encouragement.
  19.
  20. Then she readies herself to, when needed, provide ample energy for stabilizing the final portal.
  21. (Artemis Task)
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23. [22:39] Lilith would watch as Revan would unveil structure before them. Eyes widening as she would almost jump at seeing something new, seeing something that would once again garner her interest. Seeing the two mechanical cores, and smiling with glee upon seeing more Barsburg tech.
  24.
  25. Seeing as Revan would ask for the gauntlet, she would look as he would place it upon his right hand. Listening to what was needed to be done, she would tense up. Realizing that this was something that would be monumental in Essarian- No, in Eternian history. The connection of all the realms, it was something that would be mad.
  26.
  27. But mad was something Dun was, and something Revan took a little of.
  28.
  29. Being prepared, she would go ahead and look around the room. Ready for whatever she was to do. Examining the structure as she would try and figure out its purpose and meaning, ready to go ahead and fix it up if she saw any damage come to it.
  30.
  31. "I'm ready for whatever ya need me for."
  32.
  33. Though, she would only wonder who would help stabilize Uraheim, as she didn't know if anyone were a water magi in the room.
  34. (Lilith Hellaxis)
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  36.
  37. [22:40] After spotting the spinel amongst the materials in the factory lab, Urist would nod, lifting the gem with his stony right hand. The carven prosthetic surprisingly gentle with the priceless gemstone that had claimed Dun's life to retrieve.
  38.
  39. Crossing the room, He would stand, ready to connect it to the gauntlet. "Aye, I'm ready when Y'are lad. Jus' give m'the go ahead."
  40. (Urist Silverbane)
  41. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  42.
  43. [22:41] Digits continue to drum away at the tabletop. There were all these mutterings about the portal and, quite frankly, he wanted to get this done as soon as possible. It wouldn't just be a prime way to test his growing advances in Riftmancy but a largescale project for him to look back upon.
  44.
  45. Fixing his shades he'd make his way about the table. It shouldn't be that hard... Riftmancy itself, while typically needing to know its destination, could be worked around properly as long as the desire was there.
  46.
  47. Checking over the runes upon Hades' gun he'd give a gentle hum. Surely he wouldn't need it that much, but the runes he'd memorized would aid him enough as is.
  48.
  49. "Merely say tha word 'n' I'll start channelin' what I need ta. Hope ya ain't mind screams howeva!"
  50.
  51. Light laughter soon bubbles forth from the Razuka. Whether he was joking on that bit or not was up for debate. Lime-green mana collects on his fingertips as he fixates his gaze upon the gate's frame.
  52. (Stavros)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [22:43] Estra got to work making complex sets of runes to supplement anything that the portal could need.
  56.
  57. Her style of rune making actually empathesized control, fail safes, and strong energy. As well as having control over aspects through the laylines she created. Having trained with and under Demios, and Tonak as well as studying several other methods she got to this point.
  58.
  59. The man in her all moved to one hand creating a heavy presence. Then moves it all into a finger the energy disappearing for a brief moment then forming again on top of her finger as a viscous liquid a lot like ink, but fair lighter and holding together more.
  60.
  61. She started to go over close enough to the frame work of this all and started setting up a series of different runes structures.
  62.
  63. The first one was to help direct any excess energy that was wasted or given off back into the conduits to supply power for the portal and stabilize it. Something just to increase efficiency between everyone giving their energy to the portal and the portal working itself there was bound to be good amount of the stuff lingering in the air unused.
  64.
  65. That rune had many different control and collectors funneling to a set of three runes that intereacted together through laylines to form a perfect stream to wherever needed it. She would control the density and power of that with her pinky.
  66.
  67. Next rune to be placed down was one large one to read the other main runes in the room and draw information from them storing them in lay lines and energy specific runes to recalibrate anything that could go wrong. This one was complex enough to where Estra would have to drop everything else to focus on this if it needed to be used.
  68.
  69. The final rune was a rune to negate any large backlashes that could arise from the portal. This one was completely self operated after a simple activation from Estra. It would deter and redirect larges amounts of energy into stabilizing the area in a sort of bubble.
  70. (Estra)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [22:57] Turning to face the window that would soon open the Spirit world to them, Revan would take a deep breath as he steadied his nerves.
  74.
  75. You've studied for this.. Prepared.. Every moment, leading to this moment.
  76.
  77. Suddenly his energy would surge around him as the prismatic gauntlet would begin to glow, laylines igniting on the soul-steel ring as Revan would begin to charge it up slowly.
  78.
  79. "We'll start with Terraheim first.. Urist, I'll need your earth magics here."
  80.
  81. With that, the Sanguine mitten would be held out before him as the gem on the first knuckle would begin to glow a bright amber. Closing his eyes and focusing on the vision granted to him by the Gentle, Killing Fist of Id, Revan could more finely see the flow of mana around the room, and the immense power contained within the lodestone that sought to reach across worlds to it's home.
  82.
  83. Steady and firm, the earth was unmoving and stubborn. The magi who often called upon this element were even more so, and Revan's will would galvanize in order to break through the first, dense barrier posed before them. However, with Urist's help, they would surely breath through and form the connection.
  84.
  85. Revan's left hand reaching out to Lilly, as if readying her for the next step.
  86.
  87. "We're about to make the first crack, Estra, let me know if you sense any fluctuations.. Artemis- keep me steady, keep me honest."
  88. (Revan orn Task)
  89. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  90.
  91. [22:59] Estra nodded paying very close note to her runes and the energies they were reading. "Yeah."
  92. (Estra)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [23:04] Urist gave a nod, though he didn't move. Instead opting to speak in that bizarre mountain dialect of his. "Etar aril-onol, Etar Rigoth-lam, Ilul Ral-zefon." His words resonant, echoing out from the stony shell that he was wearing.
  96.
  97. Meanwhile his spirit reached outwards, connecting to the mountain around them.... and then reaching inwards to Revan. Urist had long since mastered waking the spirits of the mountain, and now they were here, eyes half cracked as the stone itself seemed vibrant around them for a brief moment.
  98.
  99. And then, with a brief rumble, the spirits would return to sleep, having offered up energy to the ritual.
  100.
  101. "Egen Okbod Lish, Egen Anil Onoltabar, Egen Bisól Etóm." Urist would finish, giving Revan a nod.
  102. (Urist Silverbane)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [23:14] Ancient words that perhaps rivaled the stones that made Theria in age would be spoken aloud, the spirits of the mountain slowly waking as they're stirred to recall their home in Terraheim.
  106.
  107. As Urist's mana would call out to the mountain, and then reverberate back into Revan, as the amber lodestone would ignite brightly. A beam of light would be sent from the knuckle of the gauntlet to a rune on the Soulsteel-circlet, a faint haze now cloaking the inside of the ring.
  108.
  109. With the rush of mana that would pass through the Overlord, the shaking of the very earth around him would only feel like a gentle tapping to the tremors of space breaking in his very grasp. The stones that guarded the Earthen realm would crumble as the connection was made, however, it had to be maintained throughout the entirety of the Ritual.
  110.
  111. "And now the burning seas of Ifraheim, my love."
  112.
  113. He would look to his wife, the most notable Fire magi in the Room as he would need her aid for this next part. However, they were both Fireblooded, and acutely aware of the nature of fire. Though he had to maintain the connection to Terraheim, he wouldn't feel burdened yet as he would have the kindling to his passionate flame to help him sear through the plane of fire.
  114. (Revan orn Task)
  115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  116.
  117. [23:22] Lilith would look on over to the lodestone. Seeing as she would be called up, she would close her eyes as she would meditate on her magic. Remembering the moment she decided to be a Fireblood, remembering the time in the temple when she saw that vision in the fire. She would take a deep breath.
  118.
  119. Her soul would start to ignite, the spark of life within her would start to flare up brightly. Her Drakanite heritage would allow her easy control over fire, and using the passion that was burning within her, she would open her eyes as the runes on her person would begin to glow a lava red. All the mana coursing in her circuits focusing on transforming into the most pure form of fire.
  120.
  121. Of which she would happily send it in the most draconic way.
  122.
  123. Standing up, opening her mouth. A small runic circle would appear before it as she would belch out the hottest fire she would ever conjure. Pure in its form, and enhanced with her runes and Drakanite blood. Shooting the fire straight into the lodestone, supplying it with as much fire as she can before sitting down, a little exhausted. Looking at Revan with a smile.
  124.
  125. "It is done love. I have poured the most pure fire I can muster."
  126. (Lilith Hellaxis)
  127. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  128.
  129. [23:34] With his beloved stepping forward, their souls would already by synchronized from the years they had spent together, forged together in the battles they shared side by side and sparring against one another. Revan knew hew flame well, and watching as it would ignite into a brilliant flame through his mana vision, it would be enough to lift his spirits as if her were in a hot air balloon.
  130.
  131. Despite the weight he felt on his shoulder holding up the gate to Terraheim with the help of Urist and the Mountain spirits, Revan's spirit would soar even higher as the scarlet lodestone would erupt from his second knuckle to burn the second rune into the portal.
  132.
  133. Again the hues would shift in the ethereal window as the sea of brimstone's heat could be felt radiating out. Much like smithing, they stared with the raw ore of Terraheim, melting it down into something malleable that could be worked with the flames of Ifraheim. Now that Revan's energies would begin to shapethe game, now they would need the cooling waters of Uraheim to cement it.
  134.
  135. "You're up, Stavros- connect us to the endless fog and the frigid oceans of Uraheim- And Estra, I'm going to need you to start directing more energy to my, and specifically the gauntlet."
  136.
  137. He would instruct with a wince as he now balanced two realms in his hand.
  138. (Revan orn Task)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [23:37] Estra started to record the feelings and energies that were in the portal and directing them to be stored in her largest rune system. This would be to bring the portal back from the edge of chaos if need be by replicating the mana and giving it a little boost to balance things.
  142.
  143. At the same time her pinky was moving ordering the first rune to start gathering the excess energy and she started storing large amounts of her own into it filling it up the best she could while saving just enough energy in herself to operate the runes.
  144.
  145. Drawing as much energy from the surroundings that she could that were not currently being used and stored them more and more into the rune. Creating a good battery, so when Revan told her to she turned the rune on.
  146.
  147. A very defined line of energy went into Revan's gauntlet as she directed it to through the runes. While the rune continued to pull more excess energy from the room. Nothing wasted what so ever.
  148.
  149. Any aspects or power would be used without fail. She was making sure of that. The line got a bit bigger as she turned up the output of the rune to match the intact of the excess energy and her own. If need be she could call on everyone else to add mana to the rune.
  150.
  151. "I... here!" She did one more increase in energy stabilizing the flow into a solid line.
  152. (Estra)
  153. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  154.
  155. [23:41] Earth, fire... Both elements he had little to no desire for. Stavros' gaze drifts near lazily between the two as he continues to fiddle with the strings of green mana on his fingertips. All it'd take was a few runes and a bit of willpower. Then they'd be through.
  156.
  157. Stepping forth upon the call he'd give a brief scrunch of his button nose. Water magic - He wasn't too grand on it, but blood magic was already an advanced form in itself. "Right... Jus' give me 'un second," Stavros murmured.
  158.
  159. For most water magi was a simple, steady stream that flowed this way and that. All those practitioners had to do was simply guide the flow elsewhere.
  160.
  161. Stavros, however, was no ordinary water magi. Maintaining his post nearby Revan his tail would begun to thump out to an unheard beat. Lifting up his free hand he'd let a solid stream of warbling, thrumming water collect upon the tips.
  162.
  163. Redirecting that stream towards the desired lodestone he'd continue on that beat; Tapping upon each thrum of that bassline only aided the replication of the harsh tides within Uraheim.
  164.
  165. "Shooould be 'nuff… Yeh?- Jammin' prolly makes this easier," The Razuka chimed with a growing grin.
  166. (Stavros)
  167. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  168.
  169. [23:53] There was only one way the mana would be flowing at the moment, as Estra would be acutely aware from her rapidly draining battery. Revan would naturally be drawing in all available mana, and it would travel through him, down his right arm, into the gauntlets, through each stone, and then to the gate at hand.
  170.
  171. Revan might not have been the most easy going person, however, he understood rolling with the punches just like going with the flow. However, the flow was a rushing stream of mana that bore through space and time as the select few here chose to finish what the Task father set out to do.
  172.
  173. As Stavros would set the beat with his tail and the tapping of his feat, the sapphire lodestone would slowly begin to glow slowly as it struggled to get all of the mana past the other two before it. However, with Estra turning her dial and Stavros finding his groove, the slow trickle would begin to send an azure drip to the portal.
  174.
  175. Slowly a blue rune would stain it's way onto the silvery window, as the dripping beam would slowly turn into a steadier stream as the flow of mana became more consistent. It was then the window's haze would become more clear, the smokey pane shifting between three realms.. Tall mountains cloaked in flouds, oceans of fire and brimstone, miles of mist and ice.
  176.
  177. However, it was only a reflection of what they sought, to truly make this a portal, it would have to become more than just a window.
  178.
  179. They would have to break the glass if they wanted to cross through.
  180.
  181. Holding the gauntlet out once more, palm down, his golden hues would look to Stavros and Urist.
  182.
  183. "Add the Spinel, Stavros, you start working the runes and doing whatever that Diary told you to do to rip a rift- Lilith, Artemis.. This is where I'm going to need you to start channeling power.. Estra, I want you to gather it and maintain the flow. Alright everyone, hold onto your butts, it's about to get crazy."
  184. (Revan orn Task)
  185. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  186.
  187. [23:58] Urist's stony fingers would move forward, energy streaming around the carven digits as the final gemstone clicked into place. "N'Y'have Th'spinel now." Urist would say, and taking a couple of steps backwards, out of the splash zone, hopefully, should things go awry.
  188.
  189. However he didn't reach out for the stone, for fear of contaminating the ritual by working magic so close to it. This was the culmination of Dun's great work. And so he wouldn't risk harming it.
  190. (Urist Silverbane)
  191. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  192.
  193. [00:00] Estra would keep doing her best to maintain it perfectly and increase the capabilities of the fail safe correcting taking read and storage of the new aspects of the realms showing up in the portal. Little bursts to correct the problems on one energy or another failing.
  194.
  195. She poured a lot of dense mana into Revan's gauntlet pushing enough out to where it would start using the battery and her own mana. Seemingly trying to make sure that hardest parts were going to go smooth. Though she couldn't keep that up forever so hopefully the portal would start to enter it's final steps soon.
  196.
  197. Though for now she had more than enough with the gathering rune and her mana to keep this up for a bit.
  198. (Estra)
  199. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  200.
  201. [00:00] Artemis remains on standby, hands idle but providing moral support for the budding blood magi and budding riftmancer's integral work.
  202.
  203. She keeps a watchful eye on all the moving pieces. If she's going to be its keeper, she'd damn well better be aware of how it's all working on the inside, at least at a basic level. The gate and its corresponding key represent a terrifying power that should not be squandered or used lightly.
  204.
  205. Two stones down, one remains, and no doubt the most volatile and vicious of the trio.
  206.
  207. Her elemental nature doesn't come into play here, by blood attuned to wind and lightning, but energy? Oh, energy she's got plenty of.
  208.
  209. The Hyene takes a full breath and digs deep into that raw, primal reserve of mana in the very core of her being. If it's power that's needed, it's power they're going to damn well get. A vibrant blue aura like a heatless flame springs to life around her.
  210.
  211. But she wills it away from her, pushing the energy across the stone floor to where Revan does the ritual, like a trail of cerulean fire.
  212.
  213. Whatever it took to see this, and her duty, completed.
  214. (Artemis Task)
  215. [00:05] Stavros' focus is stolen for a time as he stares upon the window's visage. Much like Dimensions Through Art it held a similar medium - This portal, in its entirety, needed to be finished. Whilst it was painted glass it lacked the final flare to it all.
  216.
  217. The stain of runes.
  218.
  219. "Rippin' rifts through tha world ain't jus'... Purely runes, y'know?" Stavros began as he took a few measured steps along with the beat. Heel to tips of toes, a brief spin, and with a sharp swipe of his hand he'd send the first stream of lime-green mana into the portal itself.
  220.
  221. This wasn't just going to be some glance into the Spirit Realm anymore. No, this would be where his own little part to the masterpiece would flourish.
  222.
  223. What once seemed like regular glass soon began to segment itself into colors. Runes for the locations would remain flexible in terms of their writing - This was a set point, after all, and with the glyphs for the destination they'd need to be ready to change upon a whim.
  224.
  225. From there came the runes of destination. Whether it was the harsh cold of Uraheim, the warmth of Ifraheim, the earthy depths of Teraheim, or if it was even needed the brimstone of Helheim... The glyphs would adapt towards the call of the glove.
  226.
  227. Their window soon faded from that haze. Bit by bit the picturesque scene before them of the three shifting realms fading into stained glass renditions. Each detail shared its own generality of what they'd desired - All they need to do is merely walk forth into it.
  228.
  229. "Most are set! Juuus' lemme know when ta let 'em settle in fully... 'cause ain't matta as ta where ya wanna go anymore. S'jus' how badly ya wanna be there."
  230. (Stavros)
  231. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  232.
  233. [00:05] Lilith would watch as the lodestone would slowly start to glow, the amount of mana being used would be staggering. The runes that Estra used were amazing as she would look at everything that was happening in awe. This was a monumental project, and one that she would be happy to participate in.
  234.
  235. Seeing the blue rune stain onto the silvery window, she would look at the beam of mana would become more stable. Seeing as she would be called to supply more mana, she would nod happily and close her eyes once more. The runic sigils activating and this time glowing blue.
  236.
  237. Creating a small leyline towards Revan, the runes would supply it constantly with mana, with energy. The fire in her soul, her spark of life constantly fueling it with more and more pure mana. Not giving it straight to him, but keeping a consistent line towards him as she would concentrate.
  238.
  239. Things were getting serious, and she needed to concentrate if she wanted this whole project to go well.
  240. (Lilith Hellaxis)
  241. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  242.
  243. [00:35] With the spinel from Helheim inserted into the socket, a T would be formed from the four gems, and the mana that surged through it would find it was far easier to travel once the Gauntlet was complete. However, now the hellish stone would be fed with power, and it's dark influence would begin to radiate out.
  244.
  245. Stavros would begin setting the runs about the windowframe, giving it more structure, a finer control of where they wished to go. However, their destination was determined by the desire of the one the wielded the gauntlet.
  246.
  247. With the immense rush of magic flowing through the Overlord, he would feel as four realm would be wrestling and vying to escape his grasp. However, Revan's will was absolute, and he would see that his father's work was finished, and that Theria's next day would be more prosperous than the last.
  248.
  249. Earth, fire, water, the energy of the spirit realm itself, and the dark powers of Helheim would all be flowing through Revan at once, his own circuitry burning in agony as it struggle bare the output that courseD through him. The Sage's own leylines would glow bright, and for the time being it looked as if he had no flesh, his methal prosthetics reflecting the pure light that his flesh had taken on.
  250.
  251. Stepping towards the gate, the palm of the gauntlet would be pressed against the glass. All four realms flashing violently in the pane as the lodestones flickered and shined their blinding light. As every person in the room would pour their energy into Revan, he would pull his left hand back, galvanizing his fist as he charged the Ultimate drill.
  252.
  253. Throwing it forward there would be no shattering, only a whoosh as the air suddenly grew violent, fire and plumes of mist filling the room as all four realms sought to creep in. Revan's arm would find itself on the other side, the glass had be broken, but a seal had to be made.
  254.
  255. The ultimate parry, to close the circuit.
  256.
  257. The technique he learned from his father, the move that had been his brother's undoing, and now the final blow that would put an end to it all. With a flick of his wrist and a flourish of his hand, Revan would rip his hand from the other side, pulling in not only the mana given to him by all those around him, but also the immense amount he would find in the Spirit realm.
  258.
  259. With the pull from his left hand, the Gauntlet would continue to pour mana into the gate, maintaining the outflow of mana as Revan now introduced an inflow. Now longer was the flow of mana one way, but it now circulated from their world to the one beyond. With the Sanguine mitten to tie the knot and cement the circuit, the mist and heat would cease.
  260.
  261. As the room cleared, lights and runes would flicker across the soulsteel ring, the smoky pane ready for a destination to be told. As the portal Stabilized, and the gauntlet complete, Revan's own mana would return to normal, if not a drained state, turning to everyone with an exhausted grin.
  262.
  263. The pour of four realms coursing through him- however.. It was not his to hold.. Despite the desire within him, he would look to his sister. Limping over he would remove the mitten, handing it to her.
  264.
  265. "We've finished one thing.. And started something entirely new.. Today marks a new beginning in Theria's history, and together, we will continue to stand above our enemies as we have done from our peak for decades."
  266. (Revan orn Task)
  267. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  268.
  269. [00:43] It's a feat of Therian craftsmanship, the gate itself, combined with materials from a multitude of realms, years of toil, and the final combined efforts of the present cadre of magi.
  270.
  271. Elements and energy alike flow, runes are draw, and Revan's own mastery of their father's chosen element- that raw, primitive and unfiltered mana- is the last piece it takes.
  272.
  273. There's no shortage of exertion on her part, but she's not the one punching a damned hole in reality with a fancy glove either.
  274.
  275. Artemis lifts her arm part way to shield her sensitive eyes against the flashing lights of each brilliant lodestone. Only when the din subsides does the enervated Hyene blink away the spots in her vision and lower it.
  276.
  277. It was done. It represented a bold new day, a future ahead ripe for the taking.
  278.
  279. A duty to be fulfilled.
  280.
  281. Revan presents the gauntlet, still thrumming with the energies of the four realms. She lifts it with all the reverence it is due, her head bowed.
  282.
  283. "...Thank you. As I told you. This won't be squandered. For Theria's future."
  284. (Artemis Task)
  285. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  286.
  287. [00:46] While the man wanted to seem like the runes hadn't taken it out of him as well... The complexion upon the Razuka grew paler. Bags underneath those shades were a bit more evident.
  288.
  289. Hel, even the punch into the stained glass of the realms took it out of him. Amidst the ensuing chaos those screams of the world being ripped asunder was all the easier to pick up with those rounded ears of his. It was nothing more than the usual aftereffects of a rift, however.
  290.
  291. A grim reminder of what that kind of magic related to.
  292.
  293. Shielding himself from what elements he could from the chaos he'd skitter-stumble his way back behind the desks. There's a faint murmuring that would escape just under his breath - What more did he expect?
  294.
  295. Finding himself all the more drained he'd stagger his way up onto the desk he'd done a tactical retreat towards. Lazily his gaze drifts from Revan to Artemis, the faint ghost of a smile dotting his exhausted countenance.
  296.
  297. Two attempts at Riftmancy were done that day. Both, surprisingly, were overwhelmingly successful.
  298. (Stavros)
  299. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  300.
  301. [00:48] Lilith would continue to supply mana during the intense ritual. The amount of runic circles, the amount of mana flowing through the room and towards Revan. All of it would be a spectacle that most magi in Esshar, in Eternia, would never ever see within their lifetime.
  302.
  303. It would be straining on Revan, seeing as he would be the one to bear the brunt of everything that was happening. Bending the realms to his will, and allowing it so that he would be able to control them.
  304.
  305. Eventually though, the whole ritual would end, and with Revan limping to present the gauntlet to Artemis, everything would be completed. Looking over the Revan, she would let out a deep sigh as she would walk on over to his side. Holding him up as she would give him a kiss on the cheek.
  306.
  307. "Who knew we would be here making history Revan?"
  308.
  309. She would laugh a little, still thinking about the implications of what was actually done. Looking at Artemis, she would have already put asidetheir differences from before, smiling at her as she would nod.
  310.
  311. "And Artemis. Do use it for the glory of our city, and for Garljing…"
  312.
  313. She would then look to Revan, ready to take him to bed in order to have them both rest after such a hard day of work.
  314.
  315. "You've done well love... It's time to rest."
  316. (Lilith Hellaxis)
  317. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  318.
  319. [00:55] It was an immense amount of power, more than he ever imagined in his wildest dreams. It was the supposed to be his reward for winning the competition against his brothers, the sign of the Head task. It was the one material object he desired more than anything.
  320.
  321. And he simply gave it away.
  322.
  323. There was that hollow feeling when it left his hand, as if he had parted with a piece of his soul.. And perhaps he did with how much he put into the ritual.. However.. What would he stand to gain from this display of restraint? Only time would tell.
  324.
  325. "I know it won't.. And it is best in cautious hands.."
  326.
  327. Golden hues turning to Lilly as he would lean into her arms, smiling as she kissed his cheek.
  328.
  329. "Mmh.. This was always something I intended on being apart of.. Even as a child.. However.. I never imagined.. I would be playing the part I did.. And completing it with the love of my life.. And my Dear sister- and my.. Future brother in law."
  330.
  331. A smirk cast to him, as it seemed the Overlord wouldn't leave anyone out.
  332.
  333. "But yes.. it has been a busy day.. Rest sounds divine.."
  334.
  335. And with that, he would let his beloved carry him out.
  336. (Revan orn Task)
  337. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  338.
  339. [00:57] He gave it away, passing it into the youngest Task's hands. She hadn't fought and scraped for it as her elder brothers had. That didn't mean she wasn't willing to do her part to earn it.
  340.
  341. Already gears turn, plans form, but fatigue takes over much.
  342.
  343. More importantly, than the ritual or the glove, her eyes fall to the taxed Razuka. The gauntlet is tucked away and she offers her shoulder to him.
  344.
  345. A few hushed words to the Riftmancer.
  346.
  347. "And now it's done. It's a new chapter. For all of us. Thank you. I can't say it enough.
  348.
  349. ...I should get this one somewhere to sleep. He's earned it. Good night, you two."
  350. (Artemis Task)
