Ruby, the ring of Pain. How much suffering is embedded in its history? Pain is a beautiful, but terrible, thing. We all experience pain in some form, it is required for our growth. Yet we all fear it, because its difficult standing up to pain.
It opens the doors through which even more pain and suffering is yet to come.

Sapphire, the bracelets of Love. A pair, just like soulmates who complement each other; alone they are lost. Love is the most powerful thing in the world, for it can move mountains. If that is true, then isn’t it rightful that it opens the doors to which love in more forms can be expressed?

Emerald, the brooch of Loyalty. The mark of one’s faith. Whether it be to family, to master, or simply to a friend. Loyalty is important. After all, being loyal to one’s cause ensures that one not get lost when exploring the unknown, right?________________________________________
Amethyst, the pendant of the Beyond. The most confusing of all perhaps, just like it’s former owners. What exactly does ‘the beyond’ mean, what does it signify? Perhaps it represents the space beyond the horizon, what mysteries can we find there? We’ll just have to go there, don’t we?

After all, they are just mere gemstones fashioned into jewels.
But then again, maybe we aren’t supposed to know, some things are better left unsaid and undiscovered, aren’t they?
Knowledge of the world... is a curse too great to be held by anyone.
