- Alexithymiaa: -Adam sat outside on the front step of the house, his eyes on Lady as she ran in circles around the front yard with a tennis ball wedged in her mouth. After a couple of laps, she circled back to him and dropped it at his feet. He leaned down to grab the slimey ball, his lip curling in disgust as he brought his arm back and sent the ball flying through the air. The dog took off in a sprint after it, catching the little yellow bal mid air and strutting around clearly pleased with herself.-
- Tsaaq: Hayley was moving around in the kitchen, pouring herself a cup of coffee into her mug as she crouched down to pet Hera. She glanced out the window from where she was standing and watched Adam a moment. She smiled before turning away, putting more food in Hera's bowl to distact her then went towards the door, she only opened it a little because it was cold and she basically had on no pants.
- Alexithymiaa: -He laughed as he watched the dog do her little strut around the yard, dropping his head down and shaking it for a moment until she returned to him and pushed her head into his open hand. "Alright alright, calm down." He gripped the ball and tossed it underhand upward into the sky, sending Lady running back and looking up before jumping into the air to catch it on its descend back to the ground.-
- Tsaaq: "Heeey." Hayley waved from the door, stepping further outside. She walked onto the porch and crossed her arms over her chest. "I made coffee and stuff." She said with a small shrug.
- Alexithymiaa: -He twisted from his seat on the step to look behind him when he heard Hayley's voice, flashing her an easy smile. "Hey. You shouldn't be out here dressed like that. It's Winter, afterall."-
- Tsaaq: She shivered but still attempted to play it off. "I'm fiiiinee." She waved her hand at him then stepped closer, going towards Lady. "Hey doggie! Hi baby!" She called out to her so she could give her pets. "I wasn
- Tsaaq: ((Fuuuuuuu-))
- Tsaaq: She shivered but still attempted to play it off. "I'm fiiiinee." She waved her hand at him then stepped closer, going towards Lady. "Hey doggie! Hi baby!" She called out to her so she could give her pets. "I wasn't worried. I like the cold. I'm a badass."
- Alexithymiaa: -He quickly shifted his arms to shed his denim jacket, pushing up to his feet and moving toward her to drape the jacket around her shoulders, trying to pull it closed in front of her. "It's nearly freezing outside, Halo. Liking the cold or not, that's not safe."-
- Tsaaq: She inhaled sharply and wiggled around while he dressed her in his jacket. "Thank you.' She whispered with a pout. "Yeah... My feet are freezing, everything is." She admitted with a grumble. "But I saw you and Lady and wanted to hang out too!"
- Alexithymiaa: "You could have just called us inside." He shot back, trying to nudge her back toward the door since she was clearly a cold bitch. "Go on. Let me get here." He whistled loudly for Lady who scooped up her ball and darted over toward them, running up the stairs to spin around happily at the front door because she's well trained and shit.-
- Tsaaq: Hayley nodded as she scurried back into the house. "I don't know! You both were having fun!" She said before going to rub her feet on the carpet since she'd been freezing. Hayley was full on shivering now, no point in hiding that shit.
- Alexithymiaa: -Lady ran inside along with Hayley, dropping the ball onto the floor with a bounce and snatching it up again because a bouncing ball must clearly be caught. Duh. Adam followed them inside and shut the door behind them, reaching over to pry the ball from the dog's mouth. "Hey now... no ball in the house. Drop it." He paused, his voice lowering in pitch. "Lady... drop it." When she obliged reluctantly, he rustled his hand over the top of her head, walking the ball over into the kitchen to drop it into the sink.-
- Tsaaq: She looked over her shoulder and watched Lady and Adam before going over to her mug of coffee. "Did you want some?" She asked as she leaned on the kitchen counter and took a big gulp.
- Alexithymiaa: "I don't want to take any of yours. Did you make a whole pot?" He asked as he flipped the faucet on in the sink, rinsing the ball off and setting it aside to dry because no one likes doggy slobber.-
- Tsaaq: Hayley shrugged. "It's not even like I wouldn't let you take mine." She said as she went over to the pot and shook it a little. "It's enough for some I guess." She shrugged.
- Alexithymiaa: "But I wouldn't want to." He crossed the kitchen to her and reached into the cabinet to pull down a clean mug, holding it out toward her so she could pour the remaining contents of the pot into the mug. "How long ago did you make it?"-
- Tsaaq: "I like to share with you..." She trailed off before she started to pour the coffee into his mug. She shrugged. "I don't know, dinner time?"
- Alexithymiaa: "Maybe I should put it in the microwave then." He spoke in a small voice, letting her finish filling his mug before moving over to the microwave to pop it in and hit the button for thirty seconds. He turned back to face her, smiling at her. "I know, but I don't want you to not have any because you were generous enough to share yours with me."-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "Yeaaah." She dragged out with a pout. "It's still good!" She said before taking a sip from her mug and going to kiss his cheek. "It's okay Abs, there isn't a coffee shortage or anything." She laughed before hopping around in her spot. "I'm not weird, I'm still warming up."
- Alexithymiaa: "Well that's a good thing because I think I'd be in pretty bad shape without my coffee in the morning." Letting out a chuckle, he turned to the beeping microwave and grabbed his mug, lifting it to his lips to take a sip of the piping hot black liquid. "It's perfect."-
- Tsaaq: Hayley giggled and went to drink from her mug again. "You're perfect." She stuck her tongue out at him.
- Alexithymiaa: -His cheeks flushed and he dropped his eyes down away from her to focus on the floor, wrapping both hands around the warm mug. "No one's perfect."-
- Tsaaq: "Yeah but, some people come really really really close." Hayley said with a small nod. "And I'm pretty sure you're one of them. That's just a hunch though." She began to smile.
- Alexithymiaa: -He laughed a little uncomfortably, taking another sip of his coffee and setting the mug down on the counter. "I think your hunch might be a little off."-
- Tsaaq: Hayley furrowed her eyebrows at him and began to pout. "What makes you say that?" She asked him, looking a little upset.
- Alexithymiaa: -He gave a casual shrug with his shoulders, trying to keep his eyes off her face. "I dont know. I just don't think I'm that great. I'm just really average."-
- Tsaaq: She kept frowning and turned away. "I don't know why, I don't see it that way." Hayley said with a small sigh. "But I guess if that's how you feel... I can't really change it."
- Alexithymiaa: -He kind of rolled his eyes because he assumed she had a biased opinion of him. "Name one thing about me that's not super average."-
- Tsaaq: "Well, average is basically like... The bare minimum right? Like, typical and expected shit. Well I never really see you do the bare minimum of anything really." Hayley shrugged. "You work hard at everything it seems like to me. And people who are average dont even really care as much. You seem like you care a lot about doing everything well..."
- Alexithymiaa: -He lifted his head slightly so he could peer over at her, mulling over her words. "Not necessarily. Average is kind of just... mediocre at everything. I'm not especially great at anything I do. I'm like a jack of all trades, master of none."-
- Tsaaq: Hayley shook her head a moment. "You're not mediocre at everything though, like, why do you think stuff like that. You're good at DJing, and helping people, and trying to make a change in the world. There's nothing mediocre about a person like that."
- Alexithymiaa: "Ehh..." He trailed off, scratching at the side of his face. "I'm not really a great DJ. I'm okay. But I do like to help people..." He trailed off, taking another sip of his coffee before setting the mug down in the sink.-
- Tsaaq: She lowered her head a moment and went to bite the inside of her cheek. "If you think you're so mediocre then why do you try at all?" She asked him in a serious tone.
- Alexithymiaa: "Well whether or not I'm good at it, I still think it's fun. And I know I have a lot to learn. I just don't have the time to dedicate to being very good at it. There are other things that take priority like school, and work and you."-
- Tsaaq: Hayley inhaled deeply and nodded her head. "I guess that works..." She trailed off not sounding all that convinced as she put her mug in the sink and went to take off his jacket. "Um, I think I'm just gonna go to bed or something."
- Alexithymiaa: "Oh... okay." He glanced over at Lady who had settled down and was laying on the floor with her head on her paws. "I'm going to take Lady upstairs then."-
- Tsaaq: "Yeah I don't know... Night." She muttered. "Okay well. I'll see you tomorrow and stuff probably." Hayley said as she went towards the stairs. "Or not. I'm not sure. I think being outside made me sick..." Hayley trailed off.
- Alexithymiaa: "I told you that you should be wearing a coat." He smiled at her and leaned down to scratch the dog's head, snapping his fingers and waiting for her to get up and move to the stairs, running up ahead of Hayley.-
- Tsaaq: She shrugged her shoulders as she watched Lady passed her. "It's not like I'm gonna die or anything." She said quietly.
- Alexithymiaa: "You might. This might be Oregon Trail. You don't know." He laughed, following up the stairs behind her and stopping at the top to face her. "Goodnight Halo." He leaned down to peck her cheek, following the dog to his bedroom and pushing the curtain closed behind him.-
