Cornelia: We can’t stay confined in [Area 11] for forever.

Guilford: Along with Celestial Being’s activities, there have been growing resistances to the expansion of the Holy Britannian Empire’s domain.

そのためにも、まずは最大の抵抗勢力…

Cornelia: That is exactly why it’s imperative we do away with the insurgents. For that reason, we will strike a blow to the largest resistance force... The Japan Liberation Front’s headquarters, Narita.

そして、一気に包囲網を狭め、殲滅する」
Cornelia: We will divide 4 battalions and position them around the entire mountain. Once they’re encircled we will move in all at once and squeeze the life out of them.

Euphemia: ...And are you confident the enemy won’t show up outside the encirclement line?

「黒の騎士団と例の大型戦艦…

Cornelia: You’re referring to the Black Knights, that large battleship from before... And Celestial Being?

「ナナリーも喜ぶ。会ってやってくれ」
Lelouch: Nunnally will be ecstatic. You should go see her.

「ごめん。
今日はこの後、軍隊の仕事があるんだ」
Suzaku: Sorry, I can’t. Today I have to report to my job for the military after school.

Zero: Yes, a Knightmare made completely in Japan, sent by Kyoto.

Zero: It’s yours, Kallen.

今は人も増えたし…
紅蓮の防御力ならば、あなたこそが…」

Ohgi: It looks like Cornelia is launching an operation to attack the Japan Liberation Front’s headquarters in Narita.

「こちらを誘き出す罠じゃないのかな。
裏を取ろうにも情報提供者と
迂闊に接触するのは危険だし…」
Ohgi: This may be a trap to draw us out. I’d say even if we want to confirm the information it’s too risky to contact him directly...

Mu: So what’s the rundown?

「ブリタニア軍が日本解放戦線の本拠地、
ナリタ連山の攻略作戦を発動したそうです」
Murrue: The Britannian army is attempting a strategy to capture the Japan Liberation Front headquarters in the Narita Mountains.

マリュー
「そして、黒の騎士団はそこへ介入し、
コーネリア総督の身柄を確保するつもりです」
Murrue: And so the Black Knights intend to intervene, using the opportunity to take Viceroy Cornelia into their custody.

ムウ
「ほう、敵の大将に狙いを絞るのか」
Mu: Oh-ho, going after the enemy big shot, huh.

マオ
「で、あたしたちはその手伝いをするってわけ」
Mao: And he wants us to lend a hand, I’m sure.

「なるほど。
艦長、ゼロの依頼を受けるのかい?」
Mu: No doubt about it. So Captain, are we gonna take Zero up on his request?

「ええ。

ブリタニアが大軍を投入してくるのは明白…
ゼロは我々を切り札として使うつもりでしょう」

混乱させる秘策があると言っていたけど…」

Murrue: If we’re to be the lynchpin in his strategy, then that is all the more reason for why we must go along with him.

Mao: No complaints here. As long as I’m working on this ship, I’ll follow the Captain’s orders.

Mu: Well then, there’s no point in skulking at the bottom of the ocean anymore, right?

「ええ。これより本艦はナリタ連山に向かいます」
Murrue: Indeed. This ship will now proceed towards the Narita Mountains.

Battle of Narita


(Scene begins on a map screen of a forest below the Narita Mountains, with Cornelia and Guilford in their Gloucesters, and an army of Britannian KMFs in front of them.)

「コーネリア様、各大隊の配置が完了しました」
Guilford: Lady Cornelia, all battalions are in position.

コーネリア
「わかった」
Cornelia: Good.

ギルフォード
「それで、ユーフェミア様のことですが…」
Guilford: And, the matter with Lady Euphemia...

コーネリア
「予定通り、G1で後方支援。
衛生班の指揮に当たらせよ」
Cornelia: Stationed back at G1, as we discussed. I put her in charge of the medic team.

ギルフォード
「本来なら、総督府におられるべきでは?」
Guilford: Shouldn’t she be in the Viceroy’s office?

コーネリア
「意外と強情なのだ、あれは。
戦いの実際を見てみたいというのでな」
Cornelia: She’s surprisingly stubborn when she wants to be. She wants to see the resolution of this battle herself.

「承知致しました」
Guilford: Understood, ma’am.

「では、作戦開始!」
Cornelia: Now then, commence the operation!

「イエス、ユアハイネス」
Guilford: Yes, Your Highness!

(The screen begins to shake.)

Cornelia: What are these tremors!?

「まさか、このタイミングで地震など…!」
Guilford: It can’t be—! An earthquake at a time like this...!

Britannian Knight: A widespread landslide has occurred in several sectors of the Narita Mountains! A large number of our Knightmare Frames were swept away by it!

「そんな…!
お姉様は!?」
Euphemia: No...! What about my sister!?

「呼び掛けておりますが、
電波障害のせいで応答がありません!」
Britannian Knight: We’ve been hailing them, but they’re unable to reply due to radio interference!

(もしや、これは…ゼロの策略…!?)
Euphemia: (Is this all...a trap by Zero...!?)

Lloyd: Well hello there~! The special corps crew here, reporting for duty!

従軍しているだけのイレギュラーは
大人しくしていろ!」
Britannian Knight: Insolence! You’re irregulars whose orders are to keep quiet and observe!

「確かに、そうなんですけど…」
Cecile: Well, yes sir, normally we would, but...

「ユーフェミア副総督、お願いします!
特派に命令を与えて下さい!」
Suzaku: Sub-Viceroy Euphemia! I beseech you! Please order us into the battle!

「白々しい…総督救援の功績が欲しいのだろう!
たった1機で状況を変えられるなら、誰も苦労はせん!」
Britannian Knight: How transparent... You just wan t the glory of rescuing the Viceroy! Our whole army is out there, you think one unit is going to change things!?

「いやいや、だからやってみてもいいじゃないですか。
失敗しても、そちらの損失なんかじゃないでしょ?」
Lloyd: Yes, yes, but what’s the harm in trying? Since it’s just one unit, it won’t look bad for you if we lose, riiight?

(Scene changes back to the map screen of Narita. The Guren is on the map.)

「あそこまですごい山崩れが起きるなんて…!」
Kallen: He made such a massive landslide...!

ゼロ
(紅蓮弐式の輻射波動機構と貫通電極で起こした
地滑りは予想以上の破壊力だったな)
Zero: (The landslide caused by the Guren Mk-II’s Radiation Wave Surger and the penetrating electrodes were even more destructive than I anticipated.)

ゼロ
(日本解放戦線の無力化と
コーネリア隊の孤立には成功したが、
もう少し緻密さは必要か)
Zero: (We did succeed in neutralizing the JLF and isolating Cornelia’s unit, but maybe we could have been a bit more accurate.)

カレン
「ゼロ、こっちにナイトメアフレームが来る!」
Kallen: Zero, the Knightmare Frames are coming!

Zero: (!)

コーネリアを見つけ出せ」
Zero: Kallen, break through here and find Cornelia.

「はいっ!」
Kallen: Right!

「別働隊も行動開始だ。
アークエンジェルが到着する前に
コーネリアの居場所を突き止めろ」
Zero: The detached force will begin moving as well. Now we just need to determine Cornelia’s location before the Archangel arrives.

カレン
「いくぞ、ブリタニア!
やっと…やっと、お前たちと対等に戦える!
この紅蓮弐式こそが、私たちの反撃の始まりだ!!」
Kallen: Let’s dance, Britannia! Finally... At long last, we can fight on equal footing! The Guren Mk-II will be the first step of our counterattack!!


(Scene changes to...the exact same map screen, but it’s supposed to be a different area. Cornelia, Guilford, and a few Gloucesters are on the map.)

まだ連絡が取れないのか?」
Cornelia: Guilford, has there still been no contact from G1 or Darlton?

ギルフォード

Guilford: No...

コーネリア
(この様子だと相当の損害が出たか。
そして、我らは孤立…)
Cornelia: (By the looks of things, we’ve suffered a fair amount of losses. And we’re isolated on top of that...)

(空軍に支援を要請できれば、
この状況が打開できるものを…!)
Cornelia: (If only we could request air support, we could turn this situation around...!)
