Origin of his nickname: He used to be called "Lone" as he never talked to anyone and prefering working alone. Once he came back with his lower face (mouth area) sliced open, keeping him a big scar after he got patched up. He later bought a Shemag to hide it, never taking it off, giving him a new nickname. He only takes it off when he's equiping a gas mask, as it is rather unconfortable.
Origin: Probably Czech, making him another slav from post Communist state. He also mentions it sometimes when you ask him about his life.

Backstory: Mostly unknown, only some pieces were offered by him, when drunk. Only info known about him is that his family had a bad financial situation, making him turn a criminal to support and get his family from debt. He used to smuggle stuff from NDR(DDR) around Czech border. He came to the zone with his father, as they both came to finally close the dept they meanwhile got from the mafia he worked with. His father is nowhere to be found and Shemag doesn't like to talk about it.

Nature: Lonely and quiet, he's always serious, but can drop some dark jokes, he can laugh and be happy too, but most likely won't be seen like that. The Shemag around his face also covers his smile, so even if he did smile, no one would know. he appears sad, almost depressed, some stalkers said, they heard him cry in his sleep. People don't understand his nature so he's not very liked by people, making it even worse for him. Though it looks like he doesn't care and continues with his life.

People say there is something wrong with him. They don't know what, but he feels weird, maybe it's the silence. Everyone always gets quiet and turns their head at him as he enters the bar, like he's a ghost or something.

Equipment: He carries an Obokan, given to him by Voronin himself for his work. It's modified to have a higher rate of fire, but also to be more stable and accurate. A Berreta. Knife given to him by his father, there is none other like this. It has an ornament in it's handle. It's a lilia with text saying "I may be gone, but i won't be forgotten". He's too attached t it emotionally, that if he ever lost it, he won't be the same again. He also carries a picture of him and his dad, as they are entering the Dead City. He carries a PDA, where he has all his info, he even writes his own diary. If one ever got hands on his PDA, he would have all the information about Shemag there is. He has one more thing from his father, and that is a necklace with a  7.62×39mm AK Round. Then he carries some food, meds and a vodka bottle.
