- My Hero Academia: Combination Hero: Fuzor
- Prologue: Battle Over Tucson
- Explosions ring out over Tucson, Arizona as two heroes battle a villain. The first hero is All Might, one of the most well-known superheroes in the world and considered the number one hero by most. In this day and age, a large number of people possess powers called Quirks. As with any type of superpower, there are those who use it for good and those who us it for evil. All-Might possesses a Quirk known as One For All, which greatly boosts his strength and speed during battle. The hero fighting alongside him at the moment is Dragonian, whose Quirk is Dragon (meaning he has dragon powers). The villain they are facing has a flight Quirk, so All-Might knew he needed Dragonian (whose dragon powers include flight) to catch said villain. Dragonian is chasing the villain in his dragon form with All-Might riding on his back. Eventually, Dragonian manages to shoot the villain with a fireball and knock him out of the sky. The villain recovers and starts to lift off again, but All Might leaps at him.
- "Arizona Smash!", All Might yells. He delivers a devastating punch to the villain, knocking said villain out cold. Dragonian reverts to his human form (albeit keeping his wings and tail out, as they go with his costume).
- "I'll just take this guy to the police station", Dragonian suggests. The two heroes head there together and a young boy in a blue-and-orange swirl costume is waiting for them when they get there.
- "All-Might I don't believe you've met my new sidekick yet. Meet Hugo Ichizowa AKA Combination Hero: Fuzor. His Quirk is Fusion", Dragonian explains.
- "Sounds interesting. Maybe Hugo would like to enroll in U.A. Academy", All Might suggests.
- "Maybe in a few years. I scouted him out as a potential sidekick and want to train him up a bit myself for now", Dragonian answers.
- "Call me if you change your mind", All Might suggests. With that, he runs off, leaving Dragonian and Fuzor behind.
- Chapter 1: Fusion Quirk
- Izuku Midoriya (aka Deku) and Ochako Uraraka (aka Uravity) are chasing after a villain who jumped them on their way to class at U.A. Academy. At one point, the villain jumps around a corner (he has a jumping Quirk), then yells. Midoriya and Ochako turn the corner and find the villain on the ground. A teenage boy in a blue-and-orange swirl costume is standing near the villain. He looks to be about one or two years older than Midoriya and Ochako.
- "I am Fuzor, a hero with a fusion Quirk" the boy explains. The villain notices that Midoriya and Ochako have caught up to him as well, and promptly surrenders. The hero All Might soon arrives to take the villain into custody. With All Might is a dragon-man hero. Midoriya recognizes him as Dragonian, a hero who is from America, just like All Might.
- "Hugo, you ready for your first day at U.A. Academy?", Dragonian asks. All Might introduces Fuzor, who's real name is Hugo Ichizowa, to Midoriya and Ochako.
- "Seven years ago, I had made an offer to Dragonian to enroll Hugo in U.A. Academy", All Might explains "At that time, Dragonian had only recently taken Hugo on as a potential sidekick and wanted to train Hugo himself. Just recently, he contacted me saying Hugo wanted to accept my offer from seven years ago, so I brought Hugo over from America".
- "I'm already a semi-pro hero", Hugo explains, "But its worth it to enroll here and finish my education in Japan because my former girlfriend is attending U.A. Academy".
- "You mean the horse girl with the horns that work like missiles?" Dragonian infers.
- "Pony Tsunotori?", Ochako adds.
- "Yeah, that's her", Hugo confirms, "We had been dating when she got the chance to move to Japan and attend U.A. Academy". The five of them head on into U.A. Academy. Almost immediately, Pony Tsunotori runs up to them and jumps into Hugo's arms. The two of them kiss for a second, and Pony inadvertently shoots a horn upward, which lodges itself in the ceiling above her.
- "Whoops", she apologizes. Pony plucks the horn out of the ceiling and hands it to Hugo
- "Housewarming present", she explains, "I heard you enrolled here". All Might, Dragonian, Midoriya, and Ochako walk off together, deciding to leave Hugo and Pony alone for now. Hugo and Pony walk off in the opposite direction, still holding hands. They quickly encounter Momo Yaoyorozu and Kyoko Jiro, the latter having overheard everything thanks to her Quirk, Earphone Jack.
- "Didn't know you had a boyfriend, Pony", Yaoyorozu quips.
- "What kind of Quirk does he have?", Jiro adds.
- "My Quirk is Fusion", Hugo explains, "I can fuse any two or more things or people together. I can even create a fusion of my allies' Quirks, though I cant wield it very long". He holds out his hands and both of them glow, beaming out light. Pony and Jiro are caught in the light, then Hugo claps his hands together.
- "Fusion", Hugo declares. his body glows for a second and horns with wires sprout form the sides of his head.
- "Spy Horns", Hugo reveals, "a Fusion of Pony's Horn Cannon and Jiro's Earphone Jack". Midoriya and Ochako walk into view at the other end of the hall, chatting with each other. Hugo launches a horn, which trails its cord behind it. the horn lodges in the wall near Deku and Ochako, unnoticed by the two of them. Deku's and Ochako's voice begin coming out of the horn still attached to Hugo's head. The two of them are discussing having dinner at a nearby restaurant. Then, a third voice bursts out of the horn. this one is much louder and screaming. Midoriya and Ochako can hear it too and walk up to Hugo, Yaoyorozu, and Jiro.
- "Sounds like Bakugo's angry again", Ochako muses. Hugo retracts the horn from the wall, explaining to Midoriya and Ochako about how he fused Pony's and Jiro's Quirks. He snaps his fingers and declares "de-fuse" and the Spy Horns vanish. Shota Aizawa (aka Eraserhead) approaches them and everyone hurries off to class. Later that night, Hugo and Pony decide to go out for dinner together. On their way out of the academy, they encounter Midoriya and Ochako.
- Chapter 2: Double Dinner Date
- "Mom sent me some food money, so I was thinking about eating out as well", Midoriya explains, "and I know how poor Ochako is, so I invited her to come dine with me".
- "In other words, you asked Ochako out on a date", a female voice teases. Hugo looks in the direction the voice came from, and sees a weird sight: a girl with skin and hair that is bright pink, jet black eyes, and two antenna-like horns jutting out from her hair. Beside her is what appears to be a girl's academy uniform floating in midair with no one inside it.
- "An alien and a ghost?", Hugo muses.
- "No, that's just Mina Ashido and Toru Hagakure. Mina's Quirk is Acid, Hagakure's is Invisibility", Pony explains. Mina and Hagakure wave before walking away. Hugo, Pony, Midoriya, and Ochako make their way to a local steakhouse for dinner. As the four of them look for a booth to sit at, Pony points to a chubby man in a yellow-orange hoodie who is devouring multiple plates of food.
- "That's Fat Gum, one of the local pro heroes", Pony explains to Hugo. Fat Gum notices her pointing at him.
- "This happens to be my favorite steakhouse", Fat Gum explains, "My Quirk allows me to absorb anything into my body fat, so I gotta eat a lot to stay fat". Fat Gum goes back to eating while Hugo, Pony, Midoriya, and Ochako take a seat and order their own food. Shortly after their meals arrive, Fat Gum gets up and leaves. Hugo, Pony, Midoriya, and Ochako eagerly devour their meals, but just as they go to order desert, three guys holding guns rush into the steakhouse.
- "This is a robbery", one of them declares.
- "And right after Fat Gum left, too", a waitress complains. Hugo realizes the robbers probably waited for Fat Gum to leave before making their move, so they wouldn't have to deal with him. He motions to Pony, Midoriya, and Ochako. The four of them sneak off to the bathrooms to change into their hero costumes. Fuzor, Pony, Deku, and Uravity emerge minutes later and confront the robbers.
- "Newsflash: Fat Gum wasn't the only hero here tonight", Fuzor remarks. Two of the three robbers promptly flee from the steakhouse. Pony shoots her horns at the third one, pinning him to a wall. Fuzor, Deku, and Uravity rush out of the steakhouse to chase down the other two robbers while Pony interrogates the third. The three of them follow the two fleeing robbers into the nearby alleys. In one alley, Uravity comes across a familiar-looking doll on the ground.
- "A Fat Gum doll. Someone must have dropped it. I hope this robbery hasn't turned into a hostage situation", Uravity remarks, "I'm gonna take this doll to the steakhouse and see if anyone there knows who it belongs to". Since they haven't come too far from the steakhouse, she figures the person who dropped the Fat Gum doll might have come from there. Fuzor and Deku continue searching the alleys for the robbers. A short time later, they come across two dolls that bear a striking resemblance to the fleeing robbers. Standing not too far away, half-hidden in the shadows, is a little girl. Deku notes that she looks to be the same age as, or slightly older than, his friend Eri. The girl has a different hair-color than Eri (her hair is brunette, while Eri's is white-blonde) and is wearing a fancy outfit that looks like something you would see a doll wearing. she turns and runs when she realizes Fuzor and Deku see her. Deku runs after her while Fuzor picks up the 2 dolls and runs in a different direction, still looking for the runaway robbers.
- Chapter 3: Doll Girl
- Uravity makes it back to the steakhouse to find the third robber being taken away by the authorities. She and Pony ask around to see if anyone knows who the Fat Gum doll belongs to, but no one among the customers or employees recognizes it. One waiter points out that the steakhouse sells Fat Gum dolls since he's their most famous customer, so the doll they found on the ground could have been anyone's.
- "If we can't find who the doll belongs to, Maybe we can give it to Eri", Pony suggests. The girls rush out of the steakhouse and into the alleys to catch up to the boys. They quickly run into Fuzor. He shows them the two dolls and explains about the mysterious girl and Deku chasing after her. Fuzor, Pony, and Uravity walk back to where the boys encountered the girl, then head in the direction that Deku went. After a couple minutes, they come across yet another doll lying on the ground. This time, its a Deku doll.
- "This is getting creepy", Pony notes. Uravity picks up the doll.
- "I wonder if all of these dolls belong to the mysterious girl", Fuzor ponders.
- "If they don't, that means someone's already making dolls of us U.A. students, and we haven't even had our Provisional Hero Licenses that long. We should find out who that toymaker is and see if they have dolls of the other Class 1-A students", Uravity remarks. Pony points to a nearby alley.
- "Is that her?", Pony asks. The mysterious girl is standing in the alley watching us.
- "Who are you, and are these you dolls?", Uravity asks. The girl steps out into the open where we can fully see her.
- "I am Playtime Hero: Suzie, here to rid the streets of boring villains and make everything fun", the girl declares. She takes off running, with Fuzor, Pony, and Uravity in pursuit. After a few twists and turns, they lose track of her, but come across a fancy-looking house that looks like someone made a full-scale version of a dollhouse. The three of them start towards the house, but Uravity's cell phone rings. The caller is Iida Tenya, class 1-A's president.
- "You four need to get back to U.A. ASAP", Iida demands. Forgetting about the house for the moment, Fuzor, Pony, and Uravity rush back to the hero school. Iida is waiting for them in first-floor common area of the Class 1-A dorm building. Aizawa, All-Might, and Eri are also there. Fuzor, Pony, and Uravity change out of their hero costumes, then join the others in the common area.
- "Fat Gum has been reported missing by members of his agency. He went to have supper at his favorite steakhouse and didn't come back", Aizawa informs them, "I believe you were having dinner at the same steakhouse. By the way, where's Midoriya?".
- "He's missing too", Ochako responds, sounding worried. All-Might jumps to his feet.
- "I will assemble the best pro heroes around to find our missing comrades", he decides. All-Might proceeds to make a bunch of phone calls. Pony gives the Fat Gum doll to Eri, like she had suggested earlier. Ochako insists on holding on to the Deku doll. The two dolls resembling the runaway robbers are given to Aizawa and All-Might, so the pros can examine them.
- "These dolls must have something to do with what happened tonight", Aizawa figures, "Perhaps some real nasty villains are holed up in that weird house you guys found. They could be sending the girl out as bait to lure heroes to them, and she left these dolls as a trail leading back to the house".
- "Wait a minute. Did you say she was a brunette-haired girl who looked to be close to my age?", Eri recollects, "That could be Haley Kabuta, a girl I befriended at the mall a short time ago". Aizawa decides to have some of the Pros look into the Kabuta family, considering them to be possible suspects. As it is late at night, Aizawa advises Hugo, Pony, and Ochako to get some rest. Aizawa takes Eri back over to the staff dorms, while All-Might sets out to search for Deku and Fat Gum. He tells Aizawa that Gang Orca, another pro hero, is going to join him in his search.
- The next morning, Ochako awakes with a start. Noticing the Deku doll on the sofa in her dorm room, Ochako remembers that Midoriya is missing and rushes off to find out if All-Might and Gang Orca found him. Hugo, Pony, and Yaoyorozu and sitting on the couch in the common area. Mineta is nearby, covered in mushrooms. Kinoko Komori seems to be watching over him, which explains the mushrooms (Kinoko's Quirk lets her shoot mushroom spores out, which quickly bloom into mushrooms). Lying on the coffee able in front of the couch is a skillet and an assortment of ingredients, including mushrooms. These look a lot tastier than the ones Kinoko used on Mineta. As Ochako and the others watch, Hugo waves his hands over the skillet and ingredients, like a witch casting a spell. His hands flow and the ingredients swirl together before landing in the skillet. When Hugo stops, the skillet contains a delicious-looking stir-fry mix.
- "Cooking is merely fusing ingredients together to make something delicious. Therefore, I can use my Quirk to cook a meal without actually cooking anything", Hugo explains. As everyone chows down, Aizawa and Principal Nezu enter the building.
- "We lost contact with All Might and Gang Orca", Aizawa explains, "The found that strange house you guys stumbled onto last night, then vanished".
- "Mt. Lady and Ryukyu set out this morning to investigate the house, and returned with these", Nezu adds. Aizawa brandishes two dolls: an All Might doll and a Gang Orca doll.
- "We think the villains in that house are targeting heroes. They may only be after male heroes, though, as nothing happened to the ladies when they entered the house. They didn't see any sign of the mysterious girl. As for whether or not the girl is Haley Kabuta, we don't know. We looked up the Kabuta family and learned their house burned down a while ago. they haven't been heard from since, so they may have moved to another city", Aizawa theorizes. Eri enters the bulding and immediately rushes over for a plate of stir-fry.
- "We would like to send a team of female U.A. students to investigate, and we want them to take Eri with them. If the Kabuta family is behind these goings-on, Eri will recognize Haley", Nezu requests. Aizawa and Nezu help themselves to some stir-fry while the students decide which girls to send to the strange house with Eri. Bakugo arrives to get some stir-fry, but upon hearing that Midoriya is missing, flies into a rage.
- "You ladies can leave this rescue mission to me", Bakugo demands, "No one hurts Deku and gets away with it, except me". He storms out of the building and into the streets. Hugo chases after him, yelling for him to come back. Eri takes the All Might and Gang Orca dolls from Aizawa.
- Chapter 4: Haley Kabuta
- "I hope Haley is okay", Eri worries, "If she's being used by villains like I was by Chisaki, I'll do whatever I can to save her". Uravity, Pony, Creati (Yaoyorozu), Pinky (Mina), and Tsuyu Asui (aka Froppy) decide to go with Eri to the strange house. The girls quickly change into their hero costumes. A short time later, they approach the house. Hugo is lying on the ground and there's no sign of Bakugo. The girls help Hugo up.
- "Bakugo sucker punched me, then ran into the house by himself", Hugo explains. the house is pretty big, so the girls split up. Pony takes Eri with her. The two of them come across pictures showing the mysterious girl with an older man and women, who must be her parents.
- "That is definitely Haley Kabuta", Eri confirms. Next, they stumble onto a room filled with dolls from wall to wall. Two dolls on a bench at the back of the room, a man and a woman, look oddly familiar. Pony realizes they look like Haley's mother and father.
- "If Haley is in this house, we need to find her right away", Pony insists. The two of them rush out of the doll room and run smack into Pinky.
- "This house is filled with dolls and toys. its like someone made a dollhouse into a real house", Pinky remarks.
- "Eri? is that you?", a little girl's voice yells out from somewhere down the hall. Eri recognizes the voice as Haley's and runs towards it. Haley is sitting in a fancy chair in the first floor living room. Hugo arrives at the same time.
- "Haley Kabuta, I presume? Any idea what's going on here and what happened to All-Might any the others?", Hugo inquires. Haley gives Hugo a vicious stare and her hands begin to glow. The glow suddenly fades, as Aizawa enters the room. He used his Quirk to "erase" Haley's.
- "This girl's Quirk lets her turn people into dolls", Aizawa points out.
- "Its a bit more than that, actually", Haley adds, "My Quirk is called Toy. I can turn anything real into a toy version of itself and any toy into a real version of itself". Another little girl walks into the room. This one has blonde hair and is wearing a blue-and-white dress.
- "This is Molly Jewel. She's an orphan who lives in this house with me. Her Quirk is Crystal, meaning she can summon up crystal structures. Molly conjures two crystal hands, which grab Eri away from Pony. Next, she erects a crystal barrier between the heroes and the 3 girls. She also makes a crystal mask appear around Aizawa's face, stopping him from erasing any Quirks. Haley starts to doll-ify Aizawa, but Eri stops her.
- "No more turning people into dolls. Why exactly do you keep doing that, anyway", Eri asks.
- "Cuz men are evil", Haley remarks, "A man showed up at our house and threatened daddy. He and daddy both had guns and they shot each other. Both of them survived, but the bad man set our house on fire before he left. My parents and I were forced to flee, as this "league" that bad man was working for was after us. We ended up here in this hidden location within the city alleyways. My parents asked me to use my Quirk on them, and then change them back once the bad people were gone. I had salvaged some of my toys from our house, including a dollhouse. I used my Quirk to turn it into the house you are now inside. My parents are still dolls because the bad people are still out there. I befriended Molly, whose parents were killed by the bad people, and invited her to live with me. Later, when I met you, Eri, I decided I wanted you to come live with me as well. I made it a point to turn any man who sets foot in this house into a doll, to protect myself and Molly. I even began fighting the bad people in the guise of Playtime Hero: Suzie, which refers to a popular brand of doll", Haley explains.
- "Not all men are evil, Haley", Eri responds, "the fat man and the kid in the green costume you met last night are heroes, as are the blond man and shark man who came here looking for them. Even the loud guy who likely came in here threatening to blow something up is a hero".
- "There ARE heroic men out there", Molly adds, "I met a man with flames on his body a while back. I thought he was a villain at first, but he turned out to be a hero, and a somewhat popular one at that".
- "That was Endeavor. He's the current number 1 hero", Eri explains, "His son Shoto is a friend of mine". Haley pulls something out from under herself and tosses it to Eri. It's a Bakugo doll.
- "That boy was so loud and obnoxious that, after I turned him into a doll, I sat on him cuz I was afraid he'd still be yelling in doll form. Granted, I don't have trouble with that happening as much any more. I've gotten better control over my Quirk these days", Haley insists. Eri likewise places the Bakugo doll beneath her and sits on it. The three girls begin going over every famous hero they've met. Haley begins to calm down and relax.
- "I guess I was wrong about all men being evil", Haley apologizes. She motions to Molly, who makes the crystal barrier go away along with the mask she put on Aizawa. Haley apologizes to all the other heroes for what she's done. He hands glow and all the dolls turn back into their human forms (including the Deku doll in Ochako's room and the Fat Gum doll in Eri's room. the two robbers are arrested as soon as they aren't dolls any more). Deku and Fat Gum quickly rush to Haley's house. Bakugo, whose doll was still under Eri, returns to human form to see Eri sitting on his face. He quickly pushes her off of him and begins yelling at Haley. He quickly takes a big crystal fist to his face, courtesy of Molly, and then walks away. Deku and Fat Gum arrive a short time later, and Eri fills them in on what Haley told her. Haley's parents emerge from the doll room and apologize to the heroes for all the trouble their daughter caused. All Might insists that it was all a big misunderstanding on their daughter's part, and tells them what Haley told Eri. Aizawa decides that the Kabuta family should come stay at U.A. Academy for a while, so the pros can makesure the League isn't still after them. Haley's parents agree to this idea, and decide to adopt Molly as well. Haley turns her house back into a dollhouse (once everyone is outside), then restores it to real house form on the grounds of U.A. Academy. Mr. and Mrs. Kabuta also express interest in adopting Eri, but Aizawa wants to keep her with him for now. Haley's house, which her parents and Molly live in as well, quickly becomes real popular among U.A.'s students. Eri, Haley, and Molly become friends just as quickly.
- Chapter 5: A Trip to the Mall
- About two weeks after the events at Haley's house, Hugo and Pony are preparing to go to the mall together. Aizawa stops them on the way out.
- "I'd like to entrust Eri to you for today. The pros have asked me to help them on a case, and I can't leave Eri here alone", Aizawa requests. Hugo and Pony agree to take Eri with them to the mall.
- "Haley's parents took her and Molly to the mall today as well. They'll probably still be there when we get there", Eri reveals. Her prediction turns out to be true, and three girls quickly run off together. Midoriya and Ochako are at the mall as well. There's a stage set up in the central area where anyone can perform. Fumikage is on the stage playing a guitar while his familiar, Dark Shadow, bangs on a drum set. Yaoyorozu and Mina are watching him, but quickly disappear into a clothing store. Fumikage ends his performance, recalls Dark Shadow, and walks off with Midoriya and Ochako. Hugo notices Eri, Haley, and Molly sneaking around backstage. He and Pony follow them and find a room full of costumes and instruments to be used for performances on the stage. A few minutes later, Hugo and Pony are onstage performing the song "Purple People Eater", with Eri coming onstage dressed in a purple costume (playing the part of the title creature), and Haley and Molly playing flutes in the background. Every shopper in the mall takes notice of the performance, and several of them stop to watch the show. Haley's parents are in the audience as well. Hugo and Pony perform a second song, with Eri, Haley, and Molly doing dance routines behind them.
- Outside in the parking lot, the pro hero Present Mic is getting out of his car. The mall owner had contacted him saying the mall's public stage, which the owner had installed because he's a big fan of Present Mic, was real popular today. Naturally, the pro hero had to stop by to see what was going on. He notices the "Big 3" students of U.A. Academy (Mirio Togata, Nejire Hado, and Tamaki Amajiki) heading into the mall. Present Mic heads towards the mall entrance as well, but is stopped by a sinister, and very familiar, voice. Dabi, a member of the League of Villains, approaches him.
- "Fancy meeting you here. I was about to crash the party going on inside this mall", Dabi insists. Present Mic decides he can't let Dabi enter the mall, so he faces the villain alone.
- Back inside the mall, Yaoyorozu and Mina continue their shopping and encounter the pro heroes Tiger, Ragdoll, Pixie-Bob, and Mandalay, who are planning to perform on the mall's stage later on in the day. The female cashier at the front of the store seems to be watching the heroes' every move. Meanwhile, Deku and Ochako prepare to join Hugo and the girls onstage. As they are picking out costumes backstage, a man in a purple and black costume accosts them. Midoriya recognizes the man as Twice, a member of the League. Twice makes a clone of himself using his Quirk and battles Midoriya and Ochako 2-on-2. Back in the store, the female cashier melts away as her appearance changes to that of the League member Himeko Toga. Toga attempts to attack Yaoyorozu and Mina, but the four pro heroes in the store pounce on her first. Toga runs out of the store with the four of them in pursuit. At the same time, the battle between Midoriya, Ochako, and the two Twices spills out onto the stage, alerting Hugo, Pony, Eri, Haley, and Molly to the villains' attack. Two of the mall's front entrance doors and blown off their hinges as Bakugo blasts through them, wrestling with Dabi. He arrived just in time to prevent Dabi from killing Present Mic, though the pro hero is still incapacitated.
- "I have no interest in you, Bakugo. my associates and I are here for Eri", Dabi taunts. The "big 3" overhear him and rush to assist Bakugo in stopping him. Amajiki sprouts his usually octopus tentacles and clamshell gauntlets. Nejire charges up for her Wave Motion blasts. Mirio tries to punch Dabi, but the villain grabs him, and prepares to kill him.
